As a Christian, I’m often disappointed in my “brethren,” many of whom think a vote for president is akin to selecting a high priest. We already have a High Priest, his name is Jesus, and we’ll naturally be very disappointed in anyone else. We can’t set the bar at “King of Kings” each election. Christians should be practical, not expect perfection from earthly vessels, and support rhode who best align with the Judaeo Christian principles of their beliefs upon which the nation was founded. The alternative is to concede elections to the secular humanists of the Democrat Party and follow a path that forsakes our national heritage and leads to the godless socialism that is failing mightily in Europe.
Instead of looking to one individual in political office to champion their beliefs, I’d advise Christians to fight the beast by way of decentralizing the federal government and returning decision making authority to the states and ultimately their local communities. The best the national Republican Party is doing to bridge the gap is to allow evangelical con artists like Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio to ascend to their throne and that dog don’t hunt. That said, it’s refreshing to see what Donald Trump has been able to achieve.

The majority of Americans are religious wack jobs. They actually believe that being an American citizen automatically qualifies them for entrance to heaven. That will be a sight when they go in with their mistresses, drug addictions, tats, bastard children, surgically enhanced booties and I Voted Republican lapel pin.
