The Leech Dismount

Guest Post by Ann Coulter

Trump’s been called a lot of things in recent years, but I’m going to call him something new.

First, a refresher. In 2015, the Republican Party was on life support, with a “Do Not Resuscitate” order pinned to its chest and a priest called to administer last rites. Voters kept telling the party they wanted less immigration, less tax-cutting and less warmongering, but the GOP kept giving us more immigration, more tax-cutting and more warmongering. (For a detailed account of this state of affairs, see my columns and books — they make great Christmas gifts — free shipping for Amazon Prime members!)

Only when all other treatments had failed did we turn to an ancient medical treatment: the leech.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Donald J. Trump. There was no greater leech in all the land!

No insult intended. Leeching is a time-honored medical tradition, dating back to the Stone Age, for every conceivable ailment — an overabundance of peccant humors, convulsions, flatulence, scarlet fever, pleurisy, inflamed eyes and diseases of the throat, to name a few. Even today, leeches are the best treatment, as I understand it, for certain anticoagulant purposes. But because they are worms and bloodsuckers, not all patients find the treatment especially tasteful.

Trump was our parasitic worm.

Though any doctor will tell you leeching rarely works, the next time you hear someone say we didn’t get anything from Trump, I respectfully suggest you reply: “I’ve got five words for you: Gorsuch. Kavanaugh. Coney F—ing Barrett.”

True, the only reason we got them is that neither Jared Kushner nor Kim Kardashian had any interest in the judiciary, so the Federalist Society picked Trump’s judges without interference. Albeit completely by accident, the leech still gave us a generation of solid Supreme Court justices. If that sounds like cold comfort, please recall that we just lost the Senate, and barely won the House by the skin of our teeth.

Moreover, without our leech, we would currently either be in Year Six of the Hillary administration, or Year Six of Jeb!’s presidency (who would have given us justices equal in stature to Harriet Miers and David Souter).

But you don’t leave the leech on the body forever. In leechery, once the parasite has served its purpose, it must be carefully removed and submerged in a solution of 70% alcohol to ensure that it is dead. (A common but incorrect method of performing the dismount is to set the leech on fire.)

Naturally, I am not suggesting we burn Trump or submerge him in a 70% alcohol solution.

If we’re coming up with a master list of possibilities after a few drinks, we might consider a traditional game of our dear Afghan allies, who play polo using a severed human head as the ball.

I submit it would bad for the office for Trump’s head to be used in a polo match.

Another idea to come from our perpetual wars is to model the dismount on the de-Ba’athification after Saddam. This workable, but harsh, method would require sending troops to rout Trump from whatever underground bunker he’s hiding in.

I have to reject that, too, for reasons of dignity.

But the one method that I am absolutely, positively, 100% sure will not work is to attack Trump supporters as deplorable, white supremacist insurrectionists.

You will notice that this is the precise method settled on by Biden, the Democrats and the media, for utterly cynical reasons. At this stage, Trump is poisonous to the conservative agenda, so he and the media have exactly the same agenda: Promote Trump.

Liberals want Trump more than we ever did.

Leeching as a medical treatment is not based on the leech’s inherent nobility. Trump was a desperation move.

Our idea was that Trump, for narcissistic reasons, would occasionally do things that we wanted. That was more than we were getting from the Republican Party. I defy anyone to name any of the other 16 GOP presidential candidates who could have beaten Hillary.

We hadn’t planned to get to that point, but there’s no use arguing with the GPS. That’s where we were.

The people who gave Trump more primary votes than any Republican in history weren’t idiots, haters or racists. To the contrary, anyone who withstood the slings and arrows to make Trump president in 2016 is not deplorable, but honorable. Not duped, but clear-eyed. They didn’t screw up; they did the right thing.

It may take some of them a little longer to figure out that we’ve gotten everything out of the leech that we’re ever going to get. But they are good and decent people and will realize soon enough: It’s over. We got our parasitic worm, and it’s time to move on. Sometimes the worm turns; sometimes we turn on the worm.

The majority of the Right in this country suffer from Battered Wife Syndrome and/or are too myopic to even consider, let alone try to implement, any solution that involves separating them from the Left that they hate, but love to criticize. Returning to something similar to the Articles of Confederation would indeed solve many of the political problems facing this country, but it won’t happen. In addition to the Right not even suggesting it, if they did, the NWO would suffocate those plans in the crib. They want a One World Government, which is the exact opposite of that. And the NWO is going to get what it wants.

There was no Federal Government mandate to shut down the country under Trump. States Rights with state Governors making the call and governors allowing state cities to make the call in most cases. That wasn’t a true statement – the Federal Government is not to infringe on States Rights.

Ann Coulter is a stopped clock, right twice a day. She’s right on this issue, and wrong on so many others.

I do not see any positive path for the 50-states + DC USA that we all grew up with. A dozen or more states are hopelessly corrupt and mostly alien now.

The best possible future, not that it’s likely, would be a peaceful break-up like the USSR did in 1991.

The more likely future is a modern, dystopian take on the French Revolution and all the terror it brought, without any positive resolution.

Four years ago I would have counseled anyone to run, RUN your ass off to any of 20 other countries. But the Covid plandemic has shown there is nowhere safe, and some of the previously good-looking countries like Canada, Australia and NZ showed themselves to be the most thoroughly corrupt, evil and docile of the whole lot.

Position yourself in a better part of the FUSA and get ready for a fight to come to you.

ICYMI, the democrats have done the same thing for many years … it’s just been more disguised.

Recall, if you will, how Trump’s predecessor was so anti-Wall Street … yet, under his ‘leadership’ (from behind), Wall Street made more money than they imagined — especially since he permitted them to borrow from the Fed window at 0.25% interest for almost the entire 8 years of his administration.

Other democrats have done likewise — they just disguise it better … using it as ‘filler’ in their pork barrel programs … (Solyndra, anyone?).

Ann is still sore we did not get the wall – and we all should be angry that he failed on that front. But he gave us more than a sane supreme court. We also got energy independence, booming economy, no new wars, a pacified N Korea, d significant Middle East peace deals, better trade agreements and no climate change nonsense. Most importantly, we got a blueprint for what the new GOP could look like. The real question is: can we keep the Trump fighting spirit without Trump. DeSantis and Lake (and others) would indicate we can – but the old GOP establishment hopes to bury the Trumpy types. We don’t need Don anymore, but we need the folks he inspired. The GOP leadership votes are not encouraging.

TROUBLE MAN: I’ll give you a summary of Trump’s speech so you don’t need to waste your time: “What they’re doing to our country, rigged elections, high gas prices, southern border, wars, etc. is so sad. I did the best for black and asians and hispanics. Nobody’s done better (No mention of Whites). I did such good things for israel with the Abraham accords. Nobody’s better for israel. They’ve done nothing to fix election fraud since I walked away from a hijacked election in 2020 and your countrymen are still political prisoners… But despite that, we’re still gonna pretend we have legitimate elections and I’m gonna run again in 2024!”

Correct about 2016. The Socialist Democrat RINO Establishment Neocon Party didn’t have enough printing presses set up, ready to go to print those extra pre-voted ballots for the cemetery dwellers and pets. They were treating the MAGA Movement as a circus-sideshow.

In 2020, they had printed in advance more than enough of those pre-voted ballots and the mail-in voting and early voting made it that much easier to mix in those ballots.

The best thing the fake news and Uni-Party could do right now is to write off Trump and the MAGA Movement as a bunch of has-beens. The last time they did it, we got the 2016 outcome. Let them be their own worst enemies, considering how much they enjoy that position.

I’ve been giving this Trump shit a lot of thought lately. Just trying to see if I could identify the one moment it definitively went off the rails for him. God knows there were a lot of contenders for that “honor”, but I think I have the answer. It was the moment BLM came right at him at the White House with torches…and he tucked ass and ran like a pussy. The bloom was off the rose at that point. He never fought back the remainder of his term. Some “leader”.

Everything went off the rails for Trump the instant he even entertained the idea of putting that twit of a daughter — and her POS husband — into positions of power in the White House … and that includes power over anything more significant than picking new toilet paper for the latrines.

Javanka was the source of all of Trump’s picks throughout his administration as well as any and all agendas that he eventually pursued — all centered around just a couple of priorities: what was good for his pro-zionist financiers (in both business and politics, they were the same) and kissing israel’s behind — including spending more than $2 billion moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem.

BUT … Ivanka has publicly stated that she wants nothing more to do with politics … so maybe there’s hope … maybe … possibly … almost — hope.

* From Business Insider….

Mnuchin and other Goldman bankers essentially bought up and profited from assets bought at a steep discount following a financial crisis in which their bank was a key player. Under their watch, the bank foreclosed on 36,000 home loans, according to the California Reinvestment Coalition. This happened while OneWest was getting taxpayer bailouts in the form of payments from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation to the tune of $1 billion.
