You Administrator, Warren, and others, forget that in modern America, just as we have a “Living” Constitution, which means exactly what the people in power say it means, we now have the “White Lie” and “Economical Truth.” Both are the Modern American Truth, which is the truth as the people in power define it to be.
Remember that a white lie is only a minor or unimportant lie which is a tactful and well-intentioned statement. Also remember that an economical truth is the whole truth with what the listener doesn’t need to hear omitted. Both, I think you’ll agree are the truth as the people in power define it. That’s the Modern American Truth.
If you’ll review our President’s statements, Administrator, you’ll find that his dissimulations have been white lies and economical truths not intentional lies. What we Americans should know and what we can handle, President Obama has told us completely and honestly. He’s spoken Modern American Truths.
