Obama, Kerry, Rice and the rest of these clowns must be arrested at once. They are putting our country in grave danger. I have always had total contempt for them. Now I realize that their incredible incompetence and ignorance has put all of us in immediate danger. I won’t even go into the people who are really pulling their strings. If these “sanctions” are imposed, you might as well stock up on bullets and canned food. Good God.

Judging by Frenchie’s comment, I expected the video to show 1/2 million people celebrating the referendum. It looked like about 100 + a firework. So Russia has annexed the portion of Ukraine with the highest ethnic Russian population. It reminds me of the UK carving off 6 of the 9 counties of Ulster and calling it Northern Ireland. In any case, it’s not our business, we’re not going to do anything meaningful, nor should we.

Looks like a rally for Obama.

Of course they want to join Russia. Russia is a stable, solvent non-welfare state with a valid currency and natural resources. The former Ukraine (and the Ukraine the EU/USSA are supporting is a debt slave to central banksters, insolvent and in massive debt with criminal politicians in other countries dictating their agenda (diversity, forced immigration, welfare and debt). Those people aren’t as stupid and ignorant as Europeans and Americans.

Obama commits act of war…..by executive order

Obama Issues Executive Order Freezing Assets Of Seven Putin Aides
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 03/17/2014 – 09:52

As was largely expected, the first retaliation by Obama has arrived, courtesy of a just issued Executive Order by the president, in which he has blocked and frozen “all property and interests in property that are in the United States, that hereafter come within the United States, or that are or hereafter come within the possession or control of any United States person” (i.e. assets) of not only the pre-coup Ukraine president Yanukovich and the Crimean leader Aksyonov, including all Russians that operate in the Russian arms industry, but most notably seven Putin aides. Not Putin himself of course – that would be too “escalatory”…

While Russia has secured it’s naval base in Crimea, the larger issue of Ukraine independence remains unanswered. It’s a win-win for Putin.

The only resolution which settles the issue for the Ukrainian people is to divide the country along cultural lines, which conveniently is Russian to the west, and Ukrainian to the east. The right solution is for these two new countries to remain autonomous.

Since both Russia and the US/Europe want control, then there won’t be an international proposal, so the Ukrainian people must decide this matter for themselves, and it should be left up to them.

So, the Ukraine has a lot of debt to repay to the IMF for its ‘bailout”. They also have a lot of money they owe to Gazprom for natural gas already received and consumed. Apparently, they get to pay above market prices for natural gas so that folks at the top in Ukraine and Russia can skim off some to add to their personal fortunes.

Is there a possibility that a new Ukrainian government could form that would follow Iceland’s lead in giving the finger to the banksters? Not sure it could work when they owe so much to the Russians. Easier for Russia to absorb the country and cancel the debts. Or even more likely, absorb the country and impose austerity measures while the debts to Gazprom get payed off.

Iska Waran, there a slight difference between what can be seen here and the bullshit they sold us that the referendum was made at the point of a gun.
and yes, I’m pro-russian. I think that without Putin today, we would have the choice already done between slavery for China or slavery for the USA, wich is in progress given the transatlantic partnership currently under negociation without the people being asked a single time for their opinion.
like it or not, Putin is the only opposition shit-stirrer in the world today. this says long about so-call freedom.
