I do not care what else he did – the man drew women like shit draws flies. Must have had a sizable pecker. For instance this was one of his wives, incredible as it seems:
For some reason I missed this thread. From my mom’s second cousin I have relatives in the movie business from those days. They had seven kids and lived right next door to Warner Bros. Studios. Movies then were mostly filmed on the back lot and when they needed a kid they grabbed one or two from the neighborhood. A couple of them became child stars. Bobs Watson played “pee wee” in Boys Town. Delmar was a star too and eventually had a very successful photography business in beverly hills. Their family scrapbook (which my sister has) is a virtual history of hollywood from the 1930’s. I visited them once, in the early seventies and had a lot of fun.
