A Father’s Personal Struggle With The Vaccine Debate

Submitted by Daniel Ameduri (aka The Dissident Dad) via Mike Krieger’s Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,

Across these United States, a fierce vaccination debate has started to flare up, and straw-man arguments are being paraded around as the truth. Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey said he’s for a balanced approach, in which parents have some measure of choice. Unfortunately, that’s not how things are actually done in New Jersey.

The reality is that New Jersey parents have no real choice. You have to get your child vaccinated unless you can provide a certified letter from your doctor saying that a vaccine will make the child sick, or if you can prove that it is against your religion.

Governor Christie’s comment about a “measure of choice” reveals the self-importance these politicians give to themselves. Parents living in the Christie regime don’t get full choice, but he is willing to grant them some measure of choice. Perhaps the citizenry’s ability to voice its perspective would suffice for the Governor, as long as they understand that he and his bureaucrat comrades have the final say.

Senator Rand Paul defined his position clearly, saying all parents should have the right to choose. He then went on to bring up why some parents have reservations about heavily vaccinating their young children, describing stories that he’s heard where perfectly healthy children get sick after an immunization shot. In response, the mainstream media made it its mission to brand his commentary on why others may have reservations, into Rand Paul advocating against vaccinations. In fact, former Vermont Governor Howard Dean went so far as to say it should disqualify Rand from running for president.

At the core of this entire debate is the question of who is in control. Who owns your body? That is precisely why corporatist-state media and politicians have come out so passionately about this issue. The busy bodies and medical profiteers are irate that you and I think that we should actually have a choice in how we manage our own healthcare decisions.

Nine months ago, on April 18th, I was sitting in a maternity room with my 12-hour-old daughter. When a nurse came in to immunize her from hepatitis B, a disease known to be transmitted only from sex, blood transfusions, and child birth only IF the mother has the virus. Knowing my newborn daughter hadn’t had sex, hadn’t had a blood transfusion, and that my wife – who had been to about 20 doctor visits in the past 6 months – didn’t have hepatitis, I told the nurse I wouldn’t allow them to give this immunization to my baby. The nurses were quite pleasant. They had me sign a form, and that was the end of it.

Prior to the nurse leaving, I asked to see the side effects of the vaccine they had attempted to inject into a half-day-old newborn. The side effects were fever, insomnia, hypotension, drowsiness, loss of appetite and irritability. My heart was crushed after reading this, thinking of all the other babies in the hospital that would be given this shot. Here you are, hours old, you just survived delivery, which can pretty intense, and now someone wants to inject a vaccine into your body, where the side effects could make you sick. For no reason, by the way, in my daughter’s case. So the risk-reward wasn’t even in the equation – it was pretty much all risk.

From the CDC’s website:

Screen Shot 2015-02-11 at 2.28.02 PM

On the decision of which vaccines to get and when, for my family it’s all about trust, and I don’t trust anything mandated by this government. I will be damned if they force a needle into any of my children. I have often pondered where I would draw the line, and that’s it. Take my money, take my property, but do not F*** with my kids.

By the way, would it surprise any reader that the former CDC Director went on to become president of Merck’s Vaccination Unit? Today, Dr. Julie Gerberding is the Vice President of Strategic Propaganda… I mean Communications for Merck.

In her title change, Merck had this to say: “Julie has been instrumental in making Merck’s vaccines more accessible.”

With the help and support of my doctor, my children are receiving some of the vaccines at the ages we feel appropriate.

I want to mention this only because this is not an anti-vaccine essay. The debate to vaccinate or not to vaccinate is a distraction from the more important issue at hand:

Who owns your body, you or the government?

Damn straight. One of my daughters was born premature and small: just over 2lbs. Imagine my reaction when those fuckers wanted to give her the Hep shot. And in case you’re wondering, NO they don’t vary the dosage size based on the size of the baby. Un-fucking-believable. Even given all that, we got major guilt trips from multiple nurses and doctors, had to sign waivers, etc. when we refused the shot. Dr. Sears’ Vaccine book is a great reference for anyone looking for honest, straightforward info and alternative schedules.

A CDC “scientist” spilled the beans recently when it was stated that vaccines were administered to infants, even when vaccination immunity against diseases was ineffective in infants, in order to “train” parents into taking their children to medical professionals for vaccinations. This, in itself constitutes medical malpractice of the worst kind…
The CDC and so-called “medical professionals” think that parents are stupid, when parents recognize a change in behavior and demeanor in their children after having vaccines administered. They automatically dismiss negative side effects, often claiming that parents are “making things up”… and that the “changes” in a child’s behavior are “imagined”.
The “problem” may not be the vaccines themselves, but in the way they are administered…multiple vaccines administered at one time (for the convenience of medical professionals) tend to overload a child’s little body with triggers to the immune system that cannot handle the amount and types of vaccines given at one time.
It might only take “spacing out” the administration of vaccines to help reduce the negative side effects of vaccinations.
It is long overdue for the medical profession and the pharmaceutical profession to tell the TRUTH about vaccines…

Tell the truth? With all those billions at stake?

Let the peasants contribute their children so that the medical industrial complex can have “patients” for life. No matter when or how the vaccines are administered, the damage will be done. There are ingredients in all vaccines that simply are not intended to be in a human body. EVER.

The truth is where you find it. Vaccines have little, if any, efficacy. Control is the end game.

Took my 5 year old daughter to Lurie Children’s Hospital in Rahm E’s Chicago for an MRI 3 years ago. Hidden in one of the many bits of “just routine paperwork” was language giving the hospital the right to complete any “missing vaccinations”. My wife and I refused to sign. The MRI was done with only some minor squabbling. Merck et al paid a lot of money to get Obamacare. They now have the ability to make you an offer you can’t refuse.

What if you knew?

This is not rare. Vaccines are far more destructive and damaging than any benefit they allegedly provide. Even those healthy and strong individuals who seemingly are not damaged by the shots will pay a price at some point in their lives. Medical roulette, anyone? Where do the once rare but now plentiful medical conditions like cancer, diabetes, Guillain–Barré syndrome and a host of other diseases come from? Are we injecting them?

The history of widespread vaccine use has a direct correlation to the emergence of many of the illnesses that “medical science” deals with on a daily basis now. What if “medical science” created the condition that allows the diseases to flourish?

Do your homework. Stay well.

What we forget is how horrible some of these diseases are and the way they would sweep through communities, the recency bias in action. I had an aunt who died long before I was born of German measles. My father worked for a man who had polio as a child and suffered every day for it. Do you think either of their parents would have turned down the vaccine?

That said I do believe it is every parents right to decide what vaccines are given to their children.

When my first child was born I spent time researching what was out there about vaccines. The first thing which struck me was the exponential increase in negative reactions when multiple vaccines are given at one time. My doctor was happy to give one vaccine at a time (more simple visits, easy money). The other was what some of the vaccines were for, see Hep B comment above. Not all ‘recommend’ vaccines were given to my children.

You can bet Hannah Poling’s parents would have.

@Jim, you mind telling me what the cancer rates were back then?

So we traded a relatively few deaths – and many were mislabeled anyway – for a 1 in 3 cancer rate and a 1 in 80 autistic spectrum rate. Won’t even mention the increases in allergies, asthma, diabetes, to name but a few.

In what world is THAT better?

PS- the issue isn’t these diseases, the issue is sovereignty over our own bodies and are own children.

Today they mandate nearly 50 shots before age 5, PLUS gestational shots for mom, even as our illness, disease and death rates increase, we keep increasing the toxic load and then stand back *shocked* as more and more children die of cancer (/treatments).

If you wish to drink the kool aid, no one is stopping you. But to mandate it for everyone, means you will be 100% ok with the shots for those that don’t like gay people, or the illegal that took their job, or the politician/bureaucrat that shut down their job.

You just don’t get it, and apparently, never will. I bet that even if their poisons kill someone you love, you will turn it around and blame it on anything except the ultimate truth. *sigh*

The internet is more than FB and porn, maybe you might try looking for the research – that is absolutely available – to see the truth behind our current medical paradigm.

Or not, we all know it is easier to just go along and hope for the best. Good luck with that.

pps, the rest of you warm my heart, thinking humans weighing cost/benefit and rights versus responsibilities.

Thoughts on Vaccine Safety

Most of my friends and colleagues who are skeptical of the current vaccine program are not anti immunization but rather pro vaccine safety. They see physicians and researchers who speak out about the dangers of certain compounds in vaccines, individual vaccines, or the combinations of certain vaccines and data that show links to autism or other ill effects persecuted for speaking out and they grow more concerned.

The thinking among some of my peers goes something like this: If we know mercury and aluminum are among the most potent neurotoxic agents in nature, why, not only do we not assume that these agents will have neurotoxic effects when introduced directly into the bloodstream of infants and toddlers, not to mention the adult population, but that we won’t even question their presence in the vaccines? Why, when we know formaldehyde to be carcinogenic to humans, is it included in vaccines offered to our kids without assuming it will do what we know it does, and promote cancer in them? If the FDA issues a warning that phenoxyethanol is toxic to infants and can shut down the central nervous system if ingested, why is it used as a preservative in vaccines directly injected into infants? When we include an adjuvant such as squalene, an oil molecule found natively in our brain and spine, in the the vaccine, why do we not presuppose that we will build antibodies to it as well as the antigen in the vaccine, and thus create an autoimmune condition affecting our nervous system? Why, when we use chicken egg as a medium for vaccine production and the egg protein enters our bloodstream via vaccination, do we not presuppose the resultant egg antibodies will lead to life long allergies.? The same goes for the use of excipients of peanut oil in vaccines, which the government doesn’t require as a listed ingredient. Why don’t we question the sudden rise in severe peanut allergies. Could they possibly be related? What does your rational mind think? The use of monkey kidney cells as culture medium has in the past, with the polio vaccine, included simian (monkey) retroviruses known to cause cancer and more recently a rotavirus vaccine, Dr. Paul Offit’s RotaTeq been shown to be contaminated with DNA from two porcine circoviruses.

Can we not do better than this? Can we not look seriously at these concerns, scientifically, without industry and authoritarian bias, and find safer ways to immunize? I am pessimistic at the moment as I understand the profitability of the pharmaceutical industry and with governmental protections in place, absolving them from financial loss for any harm they do via vaccines, who will throw the money at this problem that is required to study it and fix it? Who will dare to shine a light in a direction that will show how these dangerous practices have damaged so many. The FDA, CDC revolving door with big pharma is not likely to yield on this topic. Status quo is likely to prevail and rationalizations for the exponential rise in autism such as the expanding of autism spectrum diagnostic criteria will be sucked up by those that place undue trust in the authorities.

Of what I know of people, institutions, authority and money, and their effects on each other, I do not trust in the notion that those in charge and those making the money will be likely to look for, or find, major flaws in their system, that have devastated many many lives and lay the blame on themselves, pay for it and make expenditures to rectify the system. That would defy common sense for anyone with a working knowledge of government and how it actually functions and the relationships it forms with corporations and contractors. There is regulatory capture in every aspect of government where money can squeak its way in, and the capture is done for a reason, to ensure the profits and protection of those interests that are doing the lobbying and spending the money. It works, or the money wouldn’t flow. The same money controls the mainstream media and so you won’t actually get two sides of a controversial story any longer if any of the above mentioned entities want it so. In fact, you get propaganda in place of journalism, the story the government and industry want you to hear.

With big pharma being shielded by the government who awards our tax dollars to families of vaccine injured children, you have removed risk from the corporations thus disincentivizing expensive due diligence on safety and further encouraging fast tracking and up-selling new and possibly dangerous vaccines as it is very profitable with no possible downside to the companies that produce them. As such, inadequate allocations towards analysis of risk and accurate accounting for injury and research on safety renders our understanding of the risk side of any risk benefit analysis woefully under-reported and virtually unknowable. Even if the benefit side was adequately studied and established, no viable risk/benefit ratios can be scientifically proven or statistically suggested in such a scenario as we have currently. The statement that the benefit outweighs the risk is a favorite of the medical authorities, but they have absolutely nothing but rhetoric to back this up.

This process and these institutions also happen to be ruining education in this country, your food and water, has made the wealthy bankers who took down our economy wealthier beyond belief, and continues to look for wars to get us involved with in places we shouldn’t be. Whilst I am learning to navigate, and shrug off how badly I feel we are managed on the latter fronts, how upside down government and its partners seem to be on so many issues that affect our lives, when it comes to injecting multitudes of known toxins many shown to cross the blood brain barrier, directly into the bloodstreams of infants and children at ever increasing doses in an ever expanding schedule by corporations that have no skin in the game, I’m going to have to pass. What makes you think they’re right on this one? With their track record, with the economics of the situation? Then think about the fact that medical science, like all science, is ever-evolving. There is an expiration date on much of the scientific tenants we hang our hats on at any given time. Research has shown the half-life to be around 45 years. That means that statistically speaking, 50% of medical science we adhere to as proven and sound today, will be proven otherwise or obsolete in just 45 years?

If you can see how the omission of quality risk information applied to today’s vaccine science might lead to some major revisions in thinking over the next 45 years, you’re catching on to my thinking. To lend a touch of lethal context, recall the consequences of Vioxx, a drug the authorities felt was a safe way to manage inflammation. This is a fairly recent example, as Vioxx was taken off the market in 2004. It killed at least 55,000 and possibly as many as 500,000 people, the research is ongoing. One drug, so many thousands of lives lost in just 5 years. And the company, Merck, knew they had a problem before they even released the drug for sale. Whose medical science was trusted in that case? How was the risk to benefit analyzed to be acceptable, especially in light of the benefit being a little less bother from arthritis pain? The list of cases like this is lengthy.

The talk of mandates for vaccines from such a flawed system with so much still unknown about real safety is unsound. Evolving science is likely to show that for many, subtle genetic variations, not otherwise dangerous, not terribly infrequent but never currently tested for, are responsible for the susceptibility of some to have major adverse reactions, including autism type disorders, as a result of receiving the minutest of doses of the toxins I’ve mentioned and the others contained in today’s vaccines.

As well, the very notion of a mandate strikes me as having communistic pretenses. One, despite legitimate personal concerns, is forced to take on substantial personal risk for the good of the collective. However, when one is damaged in the current system, the costs of medical and other care for the individual is often astronomical. Most are unable to obtain awards from the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program and so the costs are borne solely by those who the risk was forced upon and who now also suffer the tragedy of raising a child with great difficulties and little hope of a better future. Surely, as freedom loving Americans, we can do better than that.

Jim, did your research include vaccine ingredients?

So, you only had one injection at a time of heavy metal molecules, toxic chemicals, preservatives, stabilizers and genetically modified viruses, all cultured in some form of genetically recombined medium, including rotten eggs, aborted fetal tissue, monkey and cow pus, and a host of other alarming cultures, given to your child? This plus the fact that multiple vectors are routinely injected at the same time?

Where did you do your research, at the CDC? But it’s all good, I’m sure nothing will go wrong.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK.

-Hi Mrs. Smith! How are you doing?
-Hi Dr. Doing ok but my back has been hurting. Sometimes a lot.
-Yes. That can happen during pregnancy.
-I was thinking about going to the chiropractor or the physical therapist…What do you think? I’ve heard it can help.
-Oh! Don’t bother. Those people are dangerous. Especially those chiropractors. It’s nothing serious anyways. Here, just take some tylenol when it hurts. It’s safe (it’s all scientific you see)
-Oh! Thanks Dr!

And so it goes…..

Maternal Tylenol Detrimental to Kids

In 2005, over 28 billion doses of Tylenol were taken in the U.S. alone. Tylenol (also known as acetaminophen and paracetamol) has a number of known potential side effects including nausea, vomiting and liver damage.

A study from Norway examined children born to mothers taking Tylenol/Paracetamol during pregnancy. At three years of age, “children exposed to prenatal paracetamol for more than 28 days had poorer gross motor development, communication, externalizing behavior, internalizing behavior, and higher activity levels. Children exposed prenatally to short-term use of paracetamol (1–27 days) also had poorer gross motor outcomes, but the effects were smaller than with long-term use.”

The study concluded “children exposed to long-term use of paracetamol during pregnancy had substantially adverse developmental outcomes at 3 years of age.”

This never happens…coincidence…….I’m sure.

WTF!…It’s just a coincidence….

Warning: Acetaminophen May Cause Respiratory Problems

Acetaminophen is a common pain reliever found in many popular over-the-counter drugs, including Tylenol, Anacin-3, and many popular children’s cold and flu medications. Previous studies have shown a correlation between acetaminophen intake and an increase in asthma and other respiratory illnesses.
Researchers investigated the relationship between analgesic use (i.e., acetaminophen, aspirin, ibuprofen) and the prevalence of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and lung functioning in adults, via a cross-sectional analysis.

Study participants were divided into categories based on their self-reported smoking history, classified as never smokers, ex-smokers and current smokers; lifetime cigarette consumption was quantified in pack-years. Then, participants were classified based on their analgesic use as never users; occasional users (1-5 times in the past month); regular users (6-29 times in the past month); and daily users (more than 29 times in the past month).

Results: Among the participants, 6.9% had asthma, 11.8% had COPD, and 2.8% had both diseases. Ultimately, researchers concluded that the “study results are consistent with previous research demonstrating a positive association between acetaminophen use and prevalence of asthma. We also investigated the relation of acetaminophen with the prevalence of COPD and found a significant dose-response relation, which was of about the same magnitude as the association for asthma. Increased use of acetaminophen also was associated with decreased lung function, although this effect was seen only in participants reporting daily (or greater) use of acetaminophen.”

If nothing else, this study should serve as a warning to limit your use of acetaminophen and other over-the-counter analgesics containing acetaminophen. If you currently take analgesics for pain relief, remember that regular chiropractic is a noninvasive, healthy alternative to drugs.

Ok…one more…

Researchers interviewed 1,055 pregnant women immediately following conception and up to five months into their pregnancies. (Miscarriage is defined as a natural abortion that occurs prior to 20 weeks gestation.) Participants were asked about their prenatal use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), including inbuprofen, naproxen, or combination thereof (i.e., Advil, Motrin, Naprosyn); drugs containing aspirin (i.e., baby aspirin, Alka Seltzer, Excedrin, Soma); and paracetamol (acetaminophen)-containing drugs (i.e., Tylenol products, Theraflu, Triaminic, Vicodin).

Results: The study concluded that NSAID use was associated with an 80 percent increased risk for miscarriage; the association was even higher if NSAIDs were used around the time of conception or if use lasted for longer than one week. The use of aspirin was associated with a similar outcome; however the use of acetaminophen was not associated with increased risk, regardless of timing and duration of use.

Riddle me this. You don’t trust Doctors judgment but everyone of you before you die will most likely end up putting your very life or the life of a loved one in the hands of a Doctor you don’t trust. OH, that’s real fucking intelligent. You read up on vaccines and think your smarter than a Doctor. What about when your wife has a car wreck and is in ICU, the hundreds of decisions that you should question, all the procedures, medications, tests or lack of test, you won’t have a fucking clue what’s going on, you won’t know enough to even form an intelligent question, so You’ll sit there with your mouth shut and thank the good Doctors for keeping her alive. More people are killed with medication errors (100k) every year than have a bad reaction to vaccines I guarantee you.

News flash for all you medical experts. All drugs react different in each and everyone of you. One drug may work perfect on 100 people and kill the next one. That does not mean the drug is bad or should not be used.

Carry on with your brilliance, it’s blinding.

Beyond the Autism/Vaccine Hypothesis: What Parents Need to Know about Autism Research

A decade ago most researchers agreed that we needed to study vaccines in relation to autism. We had to reconcile the fact that the number of vaccines children were receiving was increasing, and at the same time, the number of children who were being diagnosed with autism also was on the rise. Fortunately this was a question that could be studied – and answered – by science. We looked at children who received vaccines and those who didn’t, or who received them on a different, slower schedule. There was no difference in their neurological outcomes. Multiple studies have been completed which investigated the measles, mumps and rubella vaccination in relation to autism. Researchers have also studied thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative, to see if it had any relation to autism. The results of studies are very clear; the data show no relationship between vaccines and
autism.

Autism and Vaccines in the Media
On January 21st, 2011, Dr. Paul Offit was on The Colbert Report speaking about his new book, “Deadly Choices: How The Anti-Vaccine Movement Threatens Us All.” Click Here to Watch the Interview.

On September 9, 2014, ASF President Alison Singer was on The Leonard Lopate Show to talk about the risks of not vaccinating. Click here to listen to the program.

What’s Next?

If we ask the same questions we’ll get the same answers. We’ve asked the autism vaccine question over two dozen times and each time we get the same response: no relationship. We need to move on. We need to invest in studying genetics, the brain structures of children with autism, and environmental factors that may be playing a role.

Sensetti, you must not have read my post. Or you are glossing over the multiple toxins with a logic that if doc and the government say its good for me, well it has to be good for me. One of the CDC’s top researchers has come forward, just a couple of months ago, and showed us how the research gets cooked if it shows links between vaccines and autism. Medical research like all other science can be rigged by institutions and industry.

How do the studies have value if we know that studies that contradict these have been manipulated by the CDC’s own to conform with the finding of no link. How many of these studies, on such a politically charged and financially lucrative issue as this, do you think may have been adjusted to reveal a preferred result. Everyone on this site sees clearly how government and its collusion with the big banks has created an altered reality where nothing is real in the markets anymore. You think its different when they approach medicine and pharma?

“At the core of this entire debate is the question of who is in control. Who owns your body?”
——– from the article

THAT is the question.

But, this turned into a pro / anti vaccine debate.

Dr. Mary’s Monkeys first published in 2007 and again in 2014 is the story of the Salk vaccine for polio. The epidemic (about 50,000) a year spurred a mad dash for a preventive vaccine. Well, using the livers of Asian monkeys a live vaccine was developed and 6 batches of around 200,000 doses were submitted for approval. Turns out 1 of the batches was bad and killed the test animals. That batch which came from a powerful doctor who had a financial interest in the company was not pulled from the inventory. The doctor, Dr. Ochsner, of New Orleans, was so sure his vaccine batch was perfect that he called his hospital staff together and injected his two grandchildren with the tainted vaccine. Well, the young grandson died in 3 days, and the granddaughter came down with polio. Nevertheless all 6 batches were given to the public. This was in the early to mid 50’s. Flash forward to 1960 and the scientists who had developed the vaccine discovered that the monkeys used had about 40+ viruses in their livers. One was named SV40 and it had recently been discovered that SV40 was a cancer virus that would cause multiple cancers. So now, all of those children vaccinated for polio were injected with the SV40 virus. Anyone wonder why cancer is so much more prevalent these days? Recent estimates suggest that men have a 1 in 2 chance of contracting cancer, while women have a 1 in 3 probability.

Back in the 50’s we had control over our bodies, but we did not have the information we now have in order to make an informed decision. We believed that the medical profession had our best interests at heart. For the most part that was true, but not always, as evidenced in the polio vaccine. Now days Federal Government agencies claims control over just about every thing. It is claimed, that by paying a fee for a license to marry the government now has a vested interest in the property of that union, your children. By supplying your SSN to an employer you acknowledge your obligation to pay the taxes imposed. Then there is the straw man argument…that you are a corporate citizen/possession of the United States of America, Inc.

As for me, they can stick a needle in my lifeless body, and those strewn about me.
