I took off from work today. It is going up to 70 degrees. I’m going to clean the garage, prepare the yard for planting, and do my tax return. I can’t wait.

Good for you Jim…enjoy the warm weather and time off, well-deserved, I’m sure!
Just looked out the window and it’s snowing here 🙁
So,… That is what Boston Bob looks like.
Pretty much the same thing happening around here… it seems every time we look around, we find something new that needs attention…
In between thunderstorms, we got the fields policed up (cleaned of debris that blew in during the winter and gathered up any rocks that posed a danger to the mower blades), then because the weatherdude is calling for a solid week of rain, we had to rush and got the trees pruned and all the grass mowed before it got here.
Lots of interesting things happening this year…
As I left this morning the snow pile on the deck was in it’s death throes. The back yard was still half covered in snow, but at least I cab see grass for the first time in over two months. Ran out by the lake Saturday and Sunday, still too much snow to run in the woods, maybe next week.
Bob.
Araven,
I have that red plaid shirt, wool and quilted on the inside, nice and warm, but my blue cap has a Patriots logo on it.
Bob.
…and no water in California. Something is wrong.
Alex
An occasional 70 degree day in April is normal where Admin lives.
California has been wetter than normal over the last couple hundred years and that’s apparently coming to an end – no water in California Is normal, too.
Hell of a lineup of articles today , jim. If this were the front page of the washington post, we would have a different country.
84F a week ago. High of 40F today. Of well, ice is out on the lakes. Still haven’t given up on driving to the North Shore of Superior for one more day of skiing. Probably won’t happen.
Turned on the swamp cooler 2 weeks ago…it was 93.
