St. Louis gymnastics tournament. Was there a Confederate flag on that car?

ST. LOUIS — A fight breaks out at Lincoln Park in East Saint Louis and at least four girls were hit by a speeding car.

A gray car comes barreling down the street mowing down 4 people. Four young women went flying into the air.

The twenty-something year-old female driver and a passenger quickly backed up and fled from the scene. Amazingly all of the victims walked away with minor injuries. East St. Louis Police Chief Michael Floore says detectives are diligently working the case. Police also have added more patrols near the park.

“The suspect was in a vehicle and ran over 4 girls then allegedly hit a car later on. We do have the car the driver committed the crime in we currently have a person of interest we are looking for. We have also interviewed all of the victims and witnesses out there.” Floore said.

Bet those women skipped school the day they taught standing in the middle of the street may be hazardous to their health and the fat slob behind the wheel was probably trying to see the amount left on her EBT card.

Life lessons are a bitch sometimes.

Somewhere around the first part of May this year, my friend from just south of Atlanta, GA calls to tell me that the night before was prom night in Conyers, GA and the black yutes ( in formal attire) decided they were entitled to stand in the middle of the street……….all one hundred of them. The YT in the area under their breath in muffled words hoped for a driver to roll on through much as was done in the video. The prom yutes had no idea that traffic could not flow nor did they care. This is what you get with fucking PC mindset.

East St. Louis is not St. Louis. It’s in Illinois across the river from St. Louis.
Back in the late 80’s it was part of my territory as an insurance adjuster. If you couldn’t meet with me at 8 a.m. you were out of luck. By noon nearly every street corner had 5-10 thugs hanging out, looking for trouble. If I had to go to the police station for a report or anything they buzzed me in, but not before some scared sounding cop asked, ‘what do you want?’ over an intercom.

It’s an entirely different place than St. Louis.

Yes, E. St Louis is in IL, not St Louis. It has been a goner for 5 decades and by the 80s, was deteriorated and depopulated to the point where it would have been better to just de-charter it and let the remaining occupied neighborhoods be incorporated into neighboring towns. Trouble was, no one wanted those nabes in their towns.

The place was, by 1980, in such ruins that Detroit looks well-run compared. There was not a single street sign left- you navigated by sight. It was usually pretty easy to see where you were going because there were so many blocks whose structures had been burned up and torn down, that you could see your destination blocks away. My family and I were having dinner on the River Queen and watched a beautiful old warehouse, a huge structure with 7 stories, start on fire in the basement (it looked like arson) and become fully involved, before the fire dept showed up. That was 2 hours. At that time, the arson rate there was out the roof, as business owners could not sell their properties to anyone. The magnificent E. St. Louis High School building that had been the pride of the mostly white, working-class town in the 50s, was a total shambles by the late 60s after whites left the place to the poorest blacks. We knew one of the last white families to leave the place, and they did so penniless after practically giving away their house. You had to feel very sorry for the hapless poorer whites who had lived there and who tried so hard to make the town decent. But they were up against the Mob that controlled everything there in the 50s and before, and left the place scorched earth by 1965, after looting the town treasury. The fire dept and police dept often could not meet their payroll, which resulted in the total loss of fire and police protection. If your house caught fire, it burned, that’s all.
