Talk about good luck.I watched a video a couple months ago about a girl swimming off the coast of Brazil who was attacked by a Great White .As she was trying to swim away the shark took her left leg.The people with her managed to get her in the boat and then to a hospital. She’s ok minus a leg.

Dear Barack,

Please accept the enclosed surfboards and free airplane tickets to South Africa as tokens of our appreciation. Enjoy with your beautiful wife! Preferably when she’s having her period.

xoxoxo!

You know why sharks don’t attack Barry when he’s bodysurfing in Hawaii? They think he’s whale poop. On the other hand, I started surfing with my dad off Torrey Pines (blacks) in San Diego when I was 5. I’m almost 50 now and still try and get out as much as possible, unfortunately I live in NJ now and the surf is shitty during the summer and the only sharks I have ever seen were blues on a trip to Baja. What really scares me are golfers, who dresses like that?

Guy got lucky the shark just happened to get his leash crossways in it’s mouth and thrash a bit. Sort of forgot it’s attack. Yanked him off the board by the leash, then tail whacked the board as he got away. He is VERY fortunate.

I only swim in nice, well-maintained POOLS. I like to sit on the beach near my place and look at the lake, maybe wade along the shore, but I not about to immerse myself in it.

Swim in ocean, get chomped on by sharks

Swim in lake, there are flesh-eating microbes and boat pollution

Swim in river, get caught in undertow and drown.

Swim in pools, catch STD.

100% of people who swim in pools, pee in pools.

I used to swim in backwater swamps and ponds in SC. Dinkins Mill Pond was surreal. It seemed like there always a gentle layer of thin fog right above the water even in summer. It was filled with quintessential cypress trees/knees and the Spanish Moss had been undisturbed by man since time began. Even on sunny days the place was a little dark and foreboding. Alligators, snapping turtles and an abundant supply of snakes had all the sunny spots staked out. The worst part was the leeches. We always carried a Popsicle stick with us to scrape them off. If you spent the whole day down there you’d come home looking like you had chicken pox with all those little hickeys on you. The place was so beautiful it was the land time forgot. Even in my memory it barely seems real because it was so perfect.
