WE LIVE IN AN ELABORATE OPEN RANGE PRISON

I was too busy enjoying myself at the shore and missed this brilliant analysis about Donald Trump and the American people by our resident farmer of wisdom on Stuck’s Trump thread. Read it and weep. Or do something about it.

Guest Post by Hardscrabble Farmer

I have no idea what his actual motivations are, nor would I presume to guess. Having said that what you cannot dismiss is that this man has single handedly changed the conversation in the USA from one of obsequious groveling to any demand from the combined forces of MSM/PC/SJW/he/she/whatevers to contemptuous, in your face dismissals. That, to me, is huge.

As I have written about in the past based on my own experience is that no one who stands up to the official party line in America can expect or even hope for serious consideration of any topic based on facts or data without first bowing down before the shibboleths of our current culture. Anything you say or write will be perpetually thrown in your face (unless you tweet your own acts of violence and then the record is scrubbed clean- funny how that works).

There are frequent calls for “open” conversations on a variety of topics but that’s not what they mean, what they mean is that they want you to change your mind, alter your opinion, develop new beliefs and submit to the authority of the ruling elites and their support structure.

The fact is that we don’t deserve a nation- we’re cowards, failures, weaklings, hopelessly naive, gutless poseurs who talk a good game but fail to stand up to even the slightest criticism when the only thing that should ever matter is what you think of yourself when you look in the mirror or the eyes of your loved ones. The public is a shambling mass or neuroses and insecurities, failings and malcontents masquerading as a force for goodness and fairness and equality and equanimity and virtue when nothing could be further from the truth. Attempting to placate those who dream of your eradication is the kind of self-inflicted sophistry made popular by the term Stockholm Syndrome. Decent, hardworking people who just want to be left alone, who stand for tradition and loyalty and respect and honor are an affront to the forces of degeneracy and must be eradicated if they are to live with themselves- just look at the fat acceptance crowd who want not to live their lives as bloated specimens of failed diets, but that “unrealistic” portrayals, i.e. normal human physiques, be banned, lest they see the proof of their own dystopic endomorphy.

But I digress.

Donald Trump gets this much from me- he is a human being. He is allowed to voice different opinions at different times in his life without being called a hypocrite. He is allowed to donate to politicians because as a businessman in the USA during the 21st century he understands that we live in a thoroughly corrupt oligarchy and that is the cost of doing business. He can advocate for closing the border while having nice things to say about foreign workers who have been in his employ without being a two faced liar because the two things are not the same. He can say snide and crappy things about certain women without hating all women, he can criticize a Republican candidate without being a Democratic shill and he can even have an ego the size of the Trump Plaza without wanting to crush the individual because people are allowed to be multi-dimensional.

I understand Stucky’s reluctance to endorse anyone running for President. If we were truly a pluralistic, equalitarian nation based on the notion that “all men are created equal” we would choose representatives and President via random lottery because that would be fair and because no one is more or less qualified than anyone else. Of course we don’t believe in our national delusion any more than we believe in gender fluidity, we just don’t want to be singled out for the two minute hate and so we pretend and placate and equivocate and apologize for who we are, what we believe and why we live lives diametrically opposed to our purported beliefs.

We are never going to vote our way out of the current system because it is not a free society but and elaborate open range prison. The only options are to leave, to remain but go Galt, to embrace the system and take what you can from it, to openly oppose it and take your chances or to fight it clandestinely. Trump offers nothing more than encouragement to those who have had enough of the PC dogma and nothing less than an alternative to the political dynasties that currently control our political parties. Asking for more than that is just greedy, but typically American.

Meanwhile,….Here’s the interactive site for murders in Baltimore, no kidding.

http://data.baltimoresun.com/bing-maps/homicides/index.php

For 2015:

You can get the stats for Chicago at heyjackass.com

I guess we are an open-air prison with the inmates running the place.

Of course, the biggest criminals live at:

The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500

:US Capitol Building
East Capitol St NE & First St SE, Washington, DC 20004

Wall Street
NYC, NY

There is no voting our way out of this.

The open range is highly infested with big predators and governed by Big Brother’s Sheriff of Nottingham thanks to the Federal Dictatorship.

Very well said HS – thanks.

Jon Rappoport seems to think if Trump continues mentioning tariffs etc. that the American people might actually wake up and take notice that there is a reason the jobs are gone – and this might well piss off the Globalists.

He suggests that Trump beef up his security.

” Decent, hardworking people who just want to be left alone, who stand for tradition and loyalty and respect and honor are an affront to the forces of degeneracy and must be eradicated”

Well stated.

I would guess about 2% of the people generate all the noise about queers, neegrows, PC speech, never ending entitlements, endless immigration,

Trump represents us 98% who never get a national platform to tell the other 2% to STFU.

I’d be satisfied if he did just one thing and built the fence on the boarder, instituted E-Verify for employers, and instituted a system to track people who overstay their visa.

Just wrote a long response to this on the other thread. Here it is again:

Also, clearly, HSF’s post was the highlight. I would like to expand on it, if I may:

His writing is beautiful and eloquent as usual, but I persoanlly take it as several different posts in one…or a better way to look at it…HSF has the rare and wonderful ability to affect multiple perspectives simultaneously and, even rarer, to express them beautifully in prose.

First, he accurately notes that Trump’s presence is HUGE, but not because of the man, but more because he is a SYMBOL. He is the first person to be front-and-center on the political stage in decades to actually speak his mind. It doesn’t matter what spews out of it, it only matters that its genuine. That is both refreshing and potentially game-changing. Trump’s presence shines a light on the cracks in the system. People have been listening to psuedo-debate and soundbite campaigns and PC BS for SO long, that to hear something genuine on the political stage is like ice-water on the face…a wake up call to the slumbering masses.

Second, is a scathing and honest account of where we stand culturally. He does not separate himself from it (always uses “we) and if anyone here could genuinely say he is not part of our cultural decay it is HSF.

Third, there is a lament about where we are as a culture, even as a species, versus where we COULD be, if we could just be all be a little better to each other. A lament I share completely–while at the same time recognizing that it will not happen any time soon and quite possibly never. We are a very flawed species to be sure.

Fourth, there is the practical, what can we (as individuals) actually do? People (including myself) ask this type of question here all the time…well, here it is:

“The only options are to leave, to remain but go Galt, to embrace the system and take what you can from it, to openly oppose it and take your chances or to fight it clandestinely.”

That’s it, folks. Perfectly and pithily laid out. These are the ONLY basic choices. Please note “reforming the system” “enacting better laws” “voting for the right people” etc. are NOT present. We MUST first abandon the old “solutions” before we can search for new, workable ones.

If #2 & #3 are effectively implemented, then why is #1 needed?

Here’s another option. Every half mile place 10 troops with M-16s and grenade launchers, and shoot every fuckin’ thing that moves. With a 2,000 mile border that would only take 40,000 troops. We could staff it with feral kneegrows from da Hood. Everybody wins, except the illegals. How ’bout dat?

Dutchman- You were close, 1.5% of population is Joo and there is the starting point for most of this insane crap we have to endure daily in their controlled media outlets. You would not have a clue what Trump has to say unless they had him in the fold. They love anyone that can act well enough to bring in the sheep. THEY control everything you perceive as real.

I’ve written about this before. I have worked on several projects to replace HUGE software systems. They are always way over budget, and take at least twice as long as estimated.

In order to ‘reform’ our current mess of laws, rules, regulations, it would be necessary for the politicians to sit down and logically review them. This will never happen. Thus the best we can hope for is that our system crashes gracefully, under it’s own weight, and the right people will be there to step in.

I’m pessimistic that it will be a soft landing.

Great of law, post HSF. But all you comment douchebags. We can vote our way out of this. The opportunity is right before your fucking eyes. Wake up. Stop wining about snowden. Ask yourself, would snowden being prosecuted for treason be an acceptable price if we also prosecuted bill clinton? Rule

@StarFucker: ” We can vote our way out of this. The opportunity is right before your fucking eyes.”

The government, the laws, the rules, the agencies, the departments (like the EPA or Education), TBTF banks, huge corporations – the die is cast. Nobody is going to unravel this, because the others don’t want to lose power or favor.

This is why it’s going to have to crash under it’s own weight.

Sincerely,

One of the comment douchebags.

i went galt in 2008, told the state of Va i was tired of the priviledge of working for them. therefore one more small business died, i like trump, yet i do not trust the bastard. all my third party votes from 80 to date have gone for nought. at the very least a third party forces these assholes clarify their distinctions. the libertarians lost me after 88, yet walter williams is the man.

All we need to do is act like all the bullshit about terrorists is actually real. We’ve not done that since 9/11. The fucking border is wide open, critical infrastructure, chemical plants, pumping stations, dams, etc. aren’t guarded except by lame-dick rent-a-cops. Why the fuck are we spending all this money is some fuck can walk on an army base and take out 10-15 people before being stopped.
And what about that cut-up fiber optic line that took out Tuscon and part of Phoenix. It’s time to get real and kick out the wetbacks, not give them benefits and DRIVER’S LICENSES!

HSF

I am always inspired by your prose. You are able to make a point and tell a story. Something most cannot or do not try to do. I have to agree with you about not living in a free society. I have had a lifetime of frustration with the contempt of government towards us all and the apathy of the vast majority.

I agree that there isn’t likely an easy way out. Jim keeps talking about how this fourth turning is playing out. I would hope to live to see a day at some point in future that fixes some of the problems you have laid out. But my expectations are and will not be set very high.

I suppose the reason why I continue to come to this site every day is that I can find and read the thoughts of like minded people. I have good reasons to reciprocate my contempt back at those in government and the people in broader society that call themselves citizens. In Canada right now we are in midst of a national election. The federal government has shown open and blatant contempt for all of us here by doing this. They know that people in summer have other things to worry about than talking over issues that need to be addressed.

But the vast majority like I said don’t care and those that do are busy getting ready for the coming winter. Being a farmer in Mass you would understand this. Anyways I am going to use your writing as my inspiration for my next speech about Westray. I have been invited to another conference to speak.

I have been thinking a lot about fate and chance since my return from Newfoundland
and how it intertwines with good and bad.

Maybe I can
Like you have done for me intertwine some hope.
