A couple years ago we posted a link to the Briggs Meyers’ personality test so TBP readers could see why they are drawn to this libertarian anarchist anti-government shit throwing website. It was immediately evident that 80% of the people who frequent this site are INTJs.
We’ve got a lot more readers now, so let’s do it again. Take the 64 question test and reveal your personality type.
Didn’t we do this once before?
Fuckmewithaspoon ……… next time I’ll ACTUALLY READ the post before making a comment.
Nevermind …
What personality type can’t follow instructions? That’s Stuck.

I’ve taken Briggs-Meyer 3 times. Each time I come out the same: INTJ.
About 3 years ago I suggested this over at survivalistblog and a few of us (including Gayle from Gainsville) urged others to take the test. Turned out most of us prep-minded, anti-govt types were INTJ. Golly gee, go figure.
“My life is so much more interesting inside my head.”
Yep, INTJ here…
My INTJ

pretty much nailed it
I’m an outlier wherever I roam . ..
ENTJ. Good times…
SHIT !! Last time I was an INTJ …. now I’ve been demoted to a INTP. Well, it says Einstein was an INTP. I ain’t no Einstein but I like the company.

It says a good career choice would be computer science. Did just that. And hated a lot of it. An alternate career choice is Librarian. Yeah …. THAT would have been better.

So, I went to — http://www.quizrocket.com/ —- to see if there might be any fun tests to post in the future. Right on the first page there’s this “Gay Test”. Ok, wtf … lets give it a shot.
I shouldn’t have. This is turrible. Just. Turrible! I hope Ms Freud doesn’t see it. Verbatim …
“Your Result. You Are Totally Gay! You are completely gay! Well, we don’t know FOR SURE that you are totally gay, but according to this test, it would appear that you at least have a lot of gay characteristics. If it turns out that you do come sashaying out of the closet, just remember that you heard it here first sista.”

Maybe I shouldn’t have rushed through it so fast.
I’m a FCKU on most tests.
But seriously….
Oh bloody fuck…
INTJ
Introvert(3%) iNtuitive(41%) Thinking(50%) Judging(31%)
Barely I vs. E, and when I took one of these as a teen I was ENTJ but barely so vs. INTJ. I am somewhat regularly accused of having my “ability to give a crap” be worn out.
Typical PTBer:
INTJ
Introvert(44%)
iNtuitive(19%)
Thinking(50%)
Judging(38%)
You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (44%)
You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (19%)
You have moderate preference of Thinking over Feeling (50%)
You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (38%)
Typical TBPer is also dyslexic, apparently.

A little closer to INTJ this time, but I think that comes with age.
INTP
Introvert(94%) iNtuitive(34%) Thinking(88%) Perceiving(6%)
You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (94%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (34%)
You have strong preference of Thinking over Feeling (88%)
You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (6%)
Introvert (9%)
iNtuitive (31%)
Thinking (31%)
Judging (38%)
Then there is the typical TBPer response when they know they’re wrong:
ENTJ.
Hasn’t changed since I took the test when I was 21.

Add another INTJ.
1) Okay I want some of the intellectual heavyweights to step in here, which implies a lot of lurkers. Take Africa or some other backwater shithole where only a certain percentage live to see the age of “x”. Do you think there is a dominant mental ‘physique’ (as in Briggs-Meyer) that accompanies those physical attributes as well?
2) If so, how do you see it playing out in a decaying modern ‘industrial’ declining superpower…..say, I don’t know…..like here?
INTJ baby. All day long.
3) Also, have you noticed how after reading, and by now if you haven’t read The Fourth Turning you’ve got no excuse, you see stuff that was practically spelled out in the book regarding your generation? I do, all the time. But, I also see many, many things in my day how INTJ attributes have saved my ass and hung it out to dry. So my third question is, what other accepted generalizations of people are there, out there, to learn about? If you know spill it, guesses are okay too as long as they aren’t fucking stupid.
ENFJ along with Abe Lincoln, Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama
Okay, this is rough – but here would be some dominant attributes……sorry Stucky, very sorry.

By the way, we’ve all validated Jim’s test of whether he could send a boatload of referral traffic to humanmetrics.com. Jim is getting rich on all the referral fees they’re going to be paying him. He can probably buy name-brand Ramen with the proceeds from today’s TBP profits. Maybe even some sort of IKEA tchotchke for his living room, a reminder of happy memories.
INTJ; how can Hillary and Michelle be anything like me? Now I am concerned (about my sanity & soul).

Stucky says:
“SHIT !! Last time I was an INTJ …. now I’ve been demoted to a INTP.”
Well, I did accuse you of waffling more than John Kerry yesterday. Maybe it’s the moobs?
INTJ. According to the website, Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton are also INTJs. Now I have to consider contemplating that I share something in common with these women. I didn’t think this week could get worse after a $1000 car repair and major layoffs at work. 🙁
Lifelong INFP.
First took the Meyers Briggs in college many moons ago. Have taken various versions of the test since then, still an INFP.
I think I remember Denninger had a Meyers Briggs thread running on his website when the forums were still open, and the majority of his posters were INTJ too.
Interesting as I have taken the test a couple times in the past and was an INTJ both times, including once for a job.
I just took the test and came back an ISTJ – wonder how many have changed types as they matured?

I think this is about the sixth time I’ve taken the test. INTJ every time. They need to add another test section to determine Asshole quotient. I’ll bet I hit a homer on that!
If I’m not mistaken, the last test that was linked to a couple years ago had 80 questions or so.
INTJ last time I checked. Still me…
No wonder I get into so many shit flinging fights on this site.
