Ratigan is correct, but saddly I think the system has to crash to get anything done that will benefit the “little” people that we are. John

“Get the money out of politics!” sounds like something that would help, but the only way to truly do that is to get the power out of the government. As long as the government has the power, the money will find its way into politics to influence things.
Does that guy always go off like that? It seems that the only time I ever see him is when he erupts, but I don’t get MSNBC, so just wondering if he always rants like this or if it just builds up and spills out occasionally.

Maybe he should get serious and tell us how he really feels.

What a joke – this is like watching a parent get pissed off at their kids’ grades the day before graduation.

First, as a lefty ( him, not me), I am not sure he ever saw an entitlement or program for bigger government and more power that he does not like and now he is ranting about the entirely foreseeable consequences of that Next, part of his solution is to have the government lend directly to business, sure what could go wrong with that? A great way to squander more of society’s scarce capital on low or negative return investments.
Term limits might help, but even that is probably too little too late. All there is now is a search by the elites to find more money to keep the system from crashing until they are out of office or have gotten what they can. Hence the coming getting rid of cash, that way, without a vote, the fed can put a negative interest rate on accounts, basically stealing money from the working and prudent.

This is why I stopped watching TV and news many years ago. It is so soul-sucking to watch a bunch of bobble heads talk over each other.

Glad to hear some sense coming from the news, even if it will quickly be swept under the rug in favor of the next kardashian sex tryst.
The Dylan Ratigan Show was the highest-rated non-prime time show on MSNBC, aimed at critiquing what Ratigan saw as an unholy alliance between big business and government. The Dylan Ratigan Show gained in total viewership 18%, while CNN and Fox fell 15% and 7% respectively in total audience (Year-over-Year/4pm ET).
He quit less than a year after this rant in 2012.
Since leaving MSNBC, Ratigan has become involved with hydroponic farming.

Since Obama is as “bought and paid for” as the rest of DC I would have to call this BS “controlled opposition”.
Let’s look like we’re actually addressing the issues in an emotional, logical way while ignoring the fact that it’s the banks that are running the show.
It doesn’t matter what the issue is; in American politics money is the root of all evil. I’m going to abandon the bought congress, like Teddy Roosevelt did. I am going to go to the people of the the United States. – Dylan Ratigan

@star – it seems Trump is sending mixed signals in the last week or so. He talked about what it would take for him to leave the race (falling poll numbers), yet Drudge has some links about him spending money for TV ads.
Is it all a gimmick for him to cash in on a new book/reality TV show? Imagine the disappointment he will sow if he drops out.
Without knowing it Ratigan pointed out that previous 4 th Turnings were when things changed dramatically. There will be a tremendous upheaval in the next 10-15 years. I hope I live to see it.

I used to watch Dylan Ratigan on a regular basis and agreed with most of his viewpoint. He was all about “things are fucked up and shit”.

Rise- Day one I said D. Chump is a redo of the 1993 Ross Perot “One Man Show”. Do you remember what Perot did? He dropped out of the race……..hmmmmm. Perot reentered the race right before the election in order to field the correct amount of Repugnant voters to assure the win for Slick Willie. Politics……..because the sheep will believe anything.

This rant was from 2011.
Ratigan was making big bucks on CNBC and then MSNBC and he threw it all away and quit.
He deserves kudos for no longer selling his soul to the establishment.

Good for him – crash now and avoid the rush.
