CHRISTMAS BOOK IDEAS

I’m able to run a report of everything that has ever been sold through my Amazon button. Below are the most popular books all-time among TBP readers. Based on this list, TBP attracts highly educated, fact seeking, skeptical thinkers who distrust authority.

I’ve read most of these books. If you want to change hearts and minds give one of these to the unaware this Christmas, in hopes they will wake up and join the rest of us in our crusade to find truth in this untruthful society.

OK. I’ll check it out. I recently “upgraded” Firefox …. because I kept getting annoying messages to do so … and it hasn’t worked right since. I also have to “Enable Flash Player” every time I try to play a video … even though I have the latest versions of everything. It’s maddening.

I don’t see a list either admin. Adblock is disabled.

Stucky, I had a similar problem with Flash player. I just went to the Adobe Flash site and downloaded and installed a clean copy and problem solved. The “link” that was being displayed by Firefox lied and said things were up to date but they weren’t. It’s odd too, Firefox is usually rock solid. This last update seems to have interfered with the add-ons.

Yeah. As you surely know, those add-ons are mostly (maybe, all?) written by 3rd parties, and not Firefox. The Firefox folks are under no obligation to make sure add-ons work with new releases … and, so they don’t. There are endless comments on the Firefox forum about such-and-such add-on no longer working with new releases. I USED to be enamored with add-ons and had many. Right now I only have Adblock, an add-on for my Avast anti-malware, and an add-on for my wireless mouse. And it’s staying that way cuz Firefox runs better without all the added clutter.

Ghostery still rocks with Firefox!

Ghostery was blocking the list for me.

Stucky, bag firefox, and go with palemoon. Same program, imports all your add ons and bookmarks without the bloat.

Ghostery and adblock, dont leave home without it.

At last something Stucky and I agree on. I prefer Firefox over IE, but it is becoming truly a pain in the ass. Mine loads very slowly and sometimes goes to black screen. I had it working perfectly for a few days this week, then they did one of their auto updates and now its screwed again.

While we’re on book titles, one of my favorite is “How to tell mushrooms from toadstools” by the late Dr. P.H. Grimsby.
