I’m waiting for the (instantly eliminates ALL liberals from the planet ) button. The buttons above would bring the human experience into an altered and uncontrollable, unnatural experience. Why not ask, “what if all animals could talk and carry on conversation, work at human jobs etc……it just ain’t natural.
Why don’t they just leave things alone?

Yellow. Cuz knowledge is power. If you know what people are thnking, you really don’t need any kind of superpwer because you can outmanuver them.
Blue is my second choice, cuz being able to fly would be freaking AWESOME.
Grey is my last choice, particularly if I could wrangle a meteor onto DC when all the parts of the fed.gov were in session.
Anyone ever have a dream where you could do the majority of them buttons and during the dream you REALIZED it was a dream? I DiD.
When I woke up I realized that if I am ever bitten by a radioactive spider or doused with gamma radiation I need to be put down for the good of all mankind.
But anyway telekinesis ( grey button ) would rock. I would so force pinch me some politicians……..

All depends on what your goals are.
If you want to live forever, choose pink.
Choose red …. if you want unhindered ability to KILL EVIL FUCKERS — politicians, bankers, lawyers, neocons, Monsanto executives, all IRS workers, sexual predators, Rick Pitino, etc etc. — with impunity.
It would take a long long time to rid the world of evil fuckers. So, red and pink would be ideal.

If you could do it multiple times and change back when you want, green would give you abilities same or similar to Red (small innocuous animal is close to invisible); Blue; Orange (not speed of sound, but much faster than human); and Purple (not phase through, but bacteria, etc. could get through some pretty small holes). So green would be pretty good.
Pink is kind of nice, but would be much better if it would heal all illness and disease instead of just wounds.
Grey would be nice if you could lift things larger than you could lift by hand.
Yellow would get pretty noisy pretty quick if you could read everybody and is nearly useless if you have to pick one specific person.

If choosing pink allowed me a basic immortality (I could cure my aging, cancer, organ failures, etc.), I would choose that one. Time is the ultimate commodity.
Otherwise, I would choose the ability to read peoples’ minds. In our world, there is more power in that than the others.

Well, Stucky! I chose red. I have always had a fascination with being invisible. But…As I scrolled down I saw the pink button. That’s my choice, pink. I like helping others. I don’t want to live forever. When I can no longer be of service to others, than I want to go, I expect to go and I have no fear of going. In fact, I look at it as a respite from this hell-hole. I love reincarnation.

You know, having power is a terrible responsibility. How you would use it in a good way limits you. There is a lot to be said about power corrupting and absolute power corrupting, totally, which is why most people don’t have it. A compassionate God will not test you beyond your abilities, where failure is assured. Free Will is choice. “Everyday it is put before you, good and evil, choose thou.” Choosing is not easy. Evil has it’s allure.
Jesus had the red button. He disappeared from the crowd. He also had the pink button and healed where healing was needed. The one button missing from this panel of buttons is the black button, which is power over others.
Jesus was offered the whole world and its power by the ‘tempter’ if he would only bow down. Evil has it’s allure. Absolute power was his on this earth if he would do so. He chose GOoD.
I read the comment about what people would do if granted such powers and lament, that’s why they don’t have any.

Pink – It would make my job easier, and would (hopefully) reduce our incidence of post-op wound infections, and so our need to “rather overuse” the antibiotics that still work.
Down Under the “Private” sector has a lower incidence of post-op infections. “Must be because they are better” – actually no – it is because they ONLY do ELECTIVE procedures, and so Patient selection and effective preoperative decontamination is eminently feasible.
Us in the “Public” sector have to deal with all the emergency, contaminated and clean / contaminated surgeries – the ones where effective Patient decontamination is difficult (as well as our selection of “clientele” tends to be more towards the “feral” end of the spectrum!).
So, already contaminated Patients will eventually spread their contamination around. Hence the problem with wound infections.

And it would be really, really fun to play “ghost” and scare the living tar out of some richly deserving people.
I’d choose pink if it healed fatal wounds, but nonfatal wounds can be healed normally even if it takes a while and is unpleasant.
You don’t really need yellow either, people pretty much telegraph what they’re thinking if you read their eyes (and pay attention to their past behavior).
Green would be cool, but you’d have to be a small animal and having seen my cats in action, that isn’t something I’d like to be.

I like SMOD but would prefer something that just takes out us hoomans. We are the only creatures raping and pillaging the planet. Worse still, were attempting to take this freak show on the road into space. All the other critters including bacteria are more deserving of this planet than we are.
I’ll take the blue button. Flying without an aircraft would be some serious freedom. The pink button seems rather useless if it only heals what will heal anyway.

Red–if you could get through any detection machines. Imagine walking into the White House, NSA, etc., undetected. Then again I suppose you could get locked into someplace you might not like.
Blue is a close 2nd or a tie with Red for me. I’ve had many flying dreams and they were wonderful.
