Thanks. A sweet diversion from all the bullshit.

Speaking of sweet, here is a recipe for the easiest pie you will ever make. Let’s call it TBP Pie.

Instead of rolling the crust, it is crumbly and patted into the pan. The fruit needs no seasoning, as the sugar is in the crust. Tart fruit with crumbly sweet crust: Mmmm. It’s best when cooled. With ice cream.

Preheat oven to 400 and get a 9″ pie pan.

Mix together until like fine crumbs:

1 3/4 c flour. (I like to use half almond flour for nutrition and it makes it a little more interesting)
2/3 c sugar
1/2 t salt, rounded top
1 cube butter (salted)

Spread 2/3 of mixture over bottom and sides of pie pan (it may seem a little dry; not to worry). Press down firmly, then cover evenly with 4 cups of fresh or frozen fruit. (I like to use frozen mixed berries – no peeling or cutting required).Adding 1/4 c white or brown sugar to the fruit doesn’t hurt, but is not necessary.

Cover with remaining crumb mixture and pat down firmly.. Sprinkle top with cinnamon.

Bake for 30-35 minutes.
