For most people, finding a SWAT team on the front porch is a nightmarish scenario that’s more likely to produce swift compliance, rather than resistance. But last week a man from Odessa Texas (who wishes to remain anonymous) was rudely awakened by that very situation, and he did what most people only wish they had the guts to do.
The SWAT team in question was conducting a raid next to the man’s house, and for reasons that haven’t been explained, decided to enter his home instead without a warrant. The man was so incensed by how they behaved, that he recorded this very NSFW interaction with the police officers as he kicked them off his property.

Good for him.
Too bad most people who stand up for their rights end up either shot or in jail on false charges.
I like how they left like the little pussies they are. Badasses, LOL. That’s how you handle a bully.
I have seen some of the SWAT shows on TV. What a Fucking comedy show. They are always tearing down doors and busting in windows and going in with guns drawn to face some poor drug taker or seller who is sitting on the couch in his T-shirt. I wonder how they would react if someone actually was waiting for them and fired back. Real tough dudes my ass!
PBS had a 2 hour show on swat, etc. There are some real arrogant officers out there that think there is no limit ot what they can do when they are called out. John
” I wonder how they would react if someone actually was waiting for them and fired back. Real tough dudes my ass!”
Yep. Ask the F Troop pussies who shot David Koresh at his front door. They got lit up with AR15s then they fell back, shitting their BDUs and called the FBI to burn the people out, women and children included.
In the novel “Unintended Consequences” one of the characters wished aloud that the Davidians had opened up on them with Garands loaded with WWII surplus AP rounds. There wouldn’t have been any of them left to retreat.
I’m glad he stood up to them. Why the crap were they wanting in his house without a warrant anyway (rhetorical question)?
I’m also glad he had the good sense to start filming it and they left without incident.
Anyone else surprised he lived to tell about it and share the video?
Yeah, I’m a little surprised, especially that the video was shown on TV news. If the SWAT team had killed him, would that same news program have even reported it?
Ed: killed him, “lost” the cellphone (or at least damaged it beyond repair so the video couldn’t be downloaded) and claimed he came at them with a gun. Or was mentally ill.
There it is, Thinker. Right there.
I’m thinking that no video -and no fear of it being uploaded to an encrypted cloud site as it was being shot- would have had a different outcome than just leaving the property.
The guy might want to keep a watch for suspicious cars following or hanging around him for a while,
The good news is that the Border Patrol seems to be keeping busy.
I was amazed that he remembered to grab his phone and get it recorded. We need to get into the habit of doing this. That would be the last thing I would remember. If he hadn’t done that I wonder if the situation would have been different.
