Muhammad Ali certainly had the right to his preferences and to his views.
I actually have the “Microaggressions” video the author of this video created, but need to watch it again. But more than that, this video reminded me of the ludicrous (and irritating) reasoning leftists, liberals, progressives, and SJWs use to define “racism.” In their mind (and this is identical with sexism), one can only be racist if one wields power.
This is dangerous because if one has power, then one has responsibility – which is morally and logically sound. But the flip side is that if one does not have power, then one lacks responsibility… and this means that the “powerless” are not endowed with the onus of moral agency. They are, after all, powerless, and therefore, helpless, oppressed, and victims.
Such an argument is a logical and expected outcome of the grievance ideology of leftists – it’s all about guilt-tripping, the facts be damned.
To make this point, I hereby quote Thomas Sowell, a black scholar, economist, author, and political theorist (who went to Harvard and who has written prolifically on economics, race, and history):
