This would paint the whole Brexit thing as a stunning admission of defeat for Britain.
Which begs the question (heh) where exactly will Trump take the country back to?

Trump won’t take the country back from the EU, since America is not apart of the EU but it is a member of NATO. Perhaps our exit from NATO (and SEATO , making the Japanese defend themselves, pay their own way) will send a message to Russia; we don’t care about Europe, we just want the middle east.

Trump has said he doesn’t want to keep paying for Japan’s defense. He wants America’s oil under the Arab’s homes. Trump cheered when Britain voted for the Brexit, he would like to see the whole EU fall apart. He proposed to raise tariffs on imported goods, which would be a direct attack on EU compacts designed to remove import restrictions between countries of the EU. This sounds like Trump would like to take the world back to the 70’s era when there was no EU and America ruled the world and he ruled the society page headlines.
