I used to think those imprisoned under the auspices of the drug war were victims, but I’m not as sure about that any more. I wonder how often cops pushed someone into jail for drugs when the real crime(s) they couldn’t prove were violent felonies?

I do not believe that these people are imprisoned for drugs in lieu of other crimes & I believe that drugs should be legal.
However,I also believe that a large # of these people would probably commit crimes while high or to support their habit & would likely be imprisoned even with legalization.
Except for drunk driving we do not talk about alcohol much anymore but b4 drugs were common most cops would tell you that alcohol was a factor in most crime.

All this Progressive Liberal politically correct and society changing behavior is just a ruse to create division in the population, to prevent a coalition that might be an obstacle to their power and control. The only coalition allowed is the one they control. The evidence is their destruction of mores, in religion and in law, a destruction of the culture. Their goal isn’t the betterment of mankind, but the selfish desire to control and gain the productive efforts of the citizenry.
A divided populace is about as effective in resisting this power grab as a Chinese fire drill. They are united and you are not because you don’t unify under a common Ideal. They do.

First, FDR stole your money (gold) which truly belonged to you, but left silver money, a lesser money, for you to use. Then, LBJ stole your silver money and left you a lesser non-money–credit for you to use. Then, Nixon stole the value of your credit by severing gold from credit. Now, they want to steal your credit by eliminating cash.
If you don’t have monetary freedom, you don’t have any freedom. Monetary freedom is the core of civilization. It is what elevates mankind above scratching a living from the ground. They use to chain slaves to the plantations, providing their every need at the discretion of the slave owner. Today, physical chains don’t bind you. The chains that do bind you are economic chains and they bind you more securely. Your freedom is dependent on real money that you, yourself, own, not a currency you rent from a central bank.
The truth that you don’t own your currency is the fact that they can take it away from you like they did in India and Venezuela, and be assured, they will.

Well I am not going to be shot immediately because I couldn’t meet the requirements of the author. Show me someone who advocates drug usage and I’ll show you an utter failure,the guy always finding someone else to blame; the loser who envies everyone more successful than he and claiming you didn’t build that but never trying to improve his lot in life.
