Why do we celebrate “new years” as a “new” year as if it is actually something different from the last one when it is nothing more than a continuation of the years before it in anything but the number used to represent it?

There’s nothing new about it, it isn’t changing anything that wasn’t already going on.

We headed into LA around 7. A stream of cars headed up the road back to our valley. We arrived at the ‘party’ where my brother-in-law and his family was recovering from the flu. His friend was too ill to prepare the menudo, my only reason to stay up so late. So he tried his hand at making a Mexican soup. It was a disaster. Midnight came, everybody exchanged hugs, I went to get the car. We watched the same cars coming back from our valley as we left their mega-city.

I read that the Beatles quit touring when they concluded their concerts were less about the music and more of a rite. I’d say New Years is the same thing. The New York Univision hosts slunk away little by little until there was only one person at the final hour, when LA would celebrate New Years’ – One poor sap stood there trying to fake enthusiasm one more time. Shit, we should all get carried out of these poopy pointless parties like Mariah long before midnight.

To bad the mob doesn’t see past the bread and circuses. If they did, perhaps they’d hang their globalist masters.

Heh, I re-read my new copy of “The Art of War” by Sun Tzu last night. It’s a replica of the way books were printed and bound in Sun Tzu’s time. Each page is accompanied with the original Chinese text on the facing page. No hangover here!
