No better illustration than the old soviet citizen saying:

“We pretend to work. They pretend to pay us.”

I always enjoy Codevilla’s essays, largely because it’s always nice to read confirmation of your own thoughts, and to know you haven’t been a paranoid nut for the last 40 years, as this lunacy progressively worsens.

One aspect of his analysis is missing, and in my opinion, an important one. Progressivism has been with us for decades, and although the original movement was ideological, it has long since been captive to an elite criminal class, who have been using it as a cover to loot America.

The criminal elite created a new American political system – one that is a fusion of economic corporatism and open-border globalism (modern fascism) for themselves, and cultural marxism for the lumpenproles to keep them distracted by dividing them along ethnic, religious, and sexual lines. The creation of a social welfare state was also necessary to keep the masses complacent. Lately, they have stepped up their looting strategy by pursuing a displacement of the traditional American and European populations (whites) by the mass importation of third world savages.

For me the real game changer was the aftermath of the Great Financial Crisis of 2008, whereby the criminals who caused the debacle were not only let off scot-free, but were compensated for all their losses, here and abroad, which was gained by wholesale fraudulent looting of the public. This removed any remaining doubt that the country had been taken over by a criminal organization that was global in structure.

Whether or not the damage to the nation can be undone without war is an open question, especially in the face of aggressive opposition and disruption that can be anticipated from the entrenched criminal interests who control the traditional uni-party, power structure, and have been so enormously enriched under the status quo.

Because the point of P.C. is not and has never been merely about any of the items that it imposes, but about the imposition itself.

Consider our ruling class’s very latest demand: Americans must agree that someone with a penis can be a woman, while someone else with a vagina can be a man. Complying with such arbitrariness is beyond human capacity. In Orwell’s 1984, as noted, Big Brother’s agent demanded that Winston acknowledge seeing five fingers while he was holding up four. But that is small stuff next to what the U.S. ruling class is demanding of a free people.

Enough is enough. Let the lion roar and the eagle fly.

“Because that power is insecure as long as others are able to question the truth of what the progressives say about themselves and the world, progressive movements end up struggling not so much to create the promised new realities as to force people to speak and act as if these were real: as if what is correct politically—i.e., what thoughts serve the party’s interest—were correct factually.”

In short: socialism IS force.

Excellent article.

It’s very simple, imo. Simply ask if what is happening increases freedom and liberty or not.

The following is not a joke (although extremely funny) and this is what any rational thinker needs to check their privilege!! In order to check my confirmation bias against sites like TBP I’ve investigated the other side and it’s not pretty! For your amusement please consult the following (and try to read for more than ten seconds):

The irony could not be more pervasive but that is irrelevant to these poor misguided drones. I’m a racist and didn’t even know it.

Good God, how can you even get past the first paragraph?
