Actual reaction to trumps speech: the morning news here showed trump with his lips moving but leftist stephanie miner, the sanctuary city mayor for syracuse, talking over him spouting her opinion of what he said. Was watching time warner cables feed from central new york. No sound for trump. Fucking assholes. Im on dsl , no cable or otaa, so its a feed for free off the net. Or I would cancel my subscription over that shit.

SOTU speeches are chicken feed for the clucking hens. Remember Clinton in 96: “The era of big government is over”. Right. This one is no different. I’ll wait for actions to speak louder than words. I’m way to calloused to take stock in another politician’s speech. However I was truly moved by that poor widow honored for the tragic loss of her Seal husband, Ryan Owens. I generally hate public displays of emotion, especially those sponsored by hack politicians but this was different. It was very clear she was suffering terribly and apparently there to help assuage the pain. Sen. Rubio later said that the dems on the other side didn’t stand for her 2 minute ovation. Trump could have earned my unending gratitude had turned to them and said: “Stand up you heartless cocksuckers.”

Apologies for the vulgar language but I just couldn’t come up with a more appropriate word.

All dressed in white with the smug sanctimonious looks on their on their faces was priceless. All that was missing was pink hats, or white hoods.

Here’s one non-action by Trump that is a good sign: Someone asked when he would fill some of the hundreds of political appointees, and he said he wouldn’t because they were not needed. That was a great response.

Trump didn’t need to say anything about the demoncrats. The fact, that they just sat there, says everything.

Or when they did not clap when Trump said it was about Americans first. Play that scene on a loop for the next election.

About 25% of Americans self identify as very liberal, so I always note that about 25% of those polled always have negative reactions to anything a Republican is doing, which tells me that the rest of the country is on board.

How will we know if they will really drain the swamp of government corruption ?
Someone will take a walk thru the HCFA offices in Woodlawn, near Baltimore and lay off everyone who is not present on a given day, then repeat that randomly for a few months. Less than half the people actually ‘work’ in the sense that the rest of the world understands the word ‘work’. Rule of thumb for 5 people is : One person busting their ass, really working. One out on infinte leave. One present but angry & wasting time. One never present, always somewhere else, but not ‘out’. One waiting for something from the three not working and so wasting time too. 4 out of 5 not doing anything one can measure as work.

Years ago I was visiting Grandpa with a friend. Friend’s grandpa lived to 102.
The neighborhood had “changed” with many blacks and newer Hispanics. Two
houses down, upper flat apt. had a front corner porch. Some of us were on the
sidewalk, saying the goodbyes before driving off. One of us saw action on that little
second floor porch. Sure enough, door closed and 3 young piglets were out there.
I’d guess 30-40# each. We just shrugged. No one freaked out or planned to call any
cops. It was a mind your own business neighborhood. Meanwhile, there were nightly
gunfights, and the occasional irate ex attempting to (using gasoline can) start a house
on fire. That was from the blacks…out of control since forever. The Hispanic men
(during the day) could be found in groups, laughing and talking while they were
washing and polishing their cars.

What you saw was the death knell of the Democrat Party. They looked like petulant and spiteful children.

And that women dressed in white thing was beyond ridiculous.

I sure hope “death knell” is right. HZK is very generous when describing the communists behavior. They should have dressed in their pink pussy costumes.

Illegals will start going home when their employers start going to prison. They won’t need to have really long terms, 2 years would do it. Welfare benefits funded by federal dollars must be stopped. Now if Trump and the pussy Republican congress will get to work. The congress needs to limit the power of the courts to review their laws on immigration.

That is all pie in the sky when I die. It won’t happen.

Any fucking tool could come up with taking out $100 billion dollars in IOUs to fund infrastructure plans! We have talked about this ad nauseam on TBP for years! Are these the jobs he intends to “bring Back” to America to make it Great Again?! C’mon MAN! These are temporary construction jobs that might last for 8 years or so…Then what?

I like how Prez El Douche didn’t even mention how much he planned on spending on Defense and the military! I wonder how much of this money will be siphoned off and funneled to the cronies?! REminds me of Rumsfeld being grilled by Cynthia McKinney about $2.3 trillion that magically was misplaced by the DOD back in 2001.
again, Wake the fuck up people!

Where are all the conservatives who said we need to audit the FED and cut Fedzilla’s spending?? Blinded by their own biases I guess!

I guess draining the swamp really means just getting rid of your political opposition…similar to Hillary’s covert surveillance and disruptions of her deplorables list! I wonder if I’ll be on her list and Trump’s! Wouldn’t that be a special moment! HAHAHA
