Why Less than 10% Make Change Happen

Canada is especially hard because the general population have really been indoctrinated with socialism. Your government even calls it a new “sharing economy” and overall Canadians have tolerated higher taxation than Americans without complaint. The confidence in government use to be even higher in Japan going into the 1990s.

Genius-A StudentsCritical thinking that leads a person to question his immediate surroundings takes place in less than 10% of the population. It has long been recognized that education today seems more about indoctrination. Schools do not teach people how to create mega companies. This is why the popular saying is why “A” Students work for “C” students and “B” students work for government. To be an A student you need to just memorize what the correct answer will be – not understand it. “C” students are the dreamers like Albert Einstein, whose elementary school teachers thought that he was a foolish dreamer, and one teacher had even asked him to drop out of his class. “C” students put up with the teachers but reject indoctrination retaining their own objectivity, which teachers reject.

Contrary to this indoctrination belief that you must have a degree, you will discover that those who have created some of the biggest companies are all dropouts with no degrees so they did not even make “C” students which include;  Amadeo Peter Giannini, who was the multimillionaire founder of Bank of America who did not even graduate high school, Thomas Edison, inventor of the light bulb, phonograph who was homeschooled until the age of 12, Andrew Carnegie who dropped out of elementary school and became an industrialist, philanthropist, and one of the first mega-billionaires in the US history, and Henry Ford, billionaire founder of Ford Motors, to Bill Gates founder of Microsoft, Michael Dell of Dell Computer, Barry Diller the billionaire, Hollywood mogul, Internet maven, and founder of Fox Broadcasting Company to yes, even John D. Rockefeller, Sr. the real billionaire founder of Standard Oil. Politicians include Ben Franklin, Abraham Lincoln, and Andrew Jackson who also did not graduate school.

Stone Age GraveWe are a species who will never change because human nature remains the same since the dawn of time. There are Stone Age graves with people buried with dignity. The most amazing find so far of a Stone Age grave was a grave with a female and two children hugging each other. They were carefully arranged in this position. This strongly indicated they had spiritual beliefs and cared for their dead.

Human Nature endures. We travel through time and technology progresses with our knowledge. However, emotionally we remain very much the same. Society MUST move through these crash and burn periods. It is how we progress through history. The majority will NOT believe until they reach the precipice. Only then will change ever come.

Therefore, the one person out of 10 who sees, is all you need. They are the few who are truly the movers and shakers throughout history. They may be the ones others laughed at or ignored and may have even been the unpopular kid in school who just did not fit into the crowd. They are the dreamers who see the future when the time comes and make dreams come true.

I suppose it is a sort of indoctrination to say that everyone needs a degree, but it’s still true that those who earn degrees fare better on average. Correlation’s not causation, I know, but a degree is a quick signifier that a person 1) is not a complete imbecile (at worst a half-wit) 2) can do work and 3) can delay gratification. Most young people who abjure education don’t use that time to start Dell Computer – or even a successful record label. They use it to putz around in some shitty no-talent band and smoke dope. Would you rather be 23 with a degree or 23 without one? On average, I mean. People here whose opinion I value – Admin, Llpoh, etc. – wanted their kids to get degrees and are glad they’re doing so – even if it’s not at Dartmouth. Average student loan debt is only ~ $25,000 or so. Yes, it’s pushed tuition higher, but realistically, $25-40k im student loan debt isn’t really that debilitating. I’m not saying everyone should go to college, but holding Bill Gates and Zuckerberg up as examples is a little like saying that the best pathway to success is to become heavyweight champion of the world.

The people mentioned were motivated geniuses and school was beneath them. Unfortunately, most schools crush motivated genius and critical thinking at a young age.

My boy has blown through school, earning himself straight A’s every year since elementary. When he got to high school last year the counselor pulled him into her office and asked him if there was anything the school could do to help him out. He’s not just smart but pretty wise for his age. He looked her in the eyes and told her there was nothing the school could do for him other than making the course work harder and that they should save the ‘help’ for the kids who actually needed it. I laughed when he told me, he says, “Dad, it’s like they think everyone is a victim.”

After this year, I could care less whether or not he heads off to university or not. I’ve never had to ride him or watch over him to make sure he is getting his work done. He is self-monitoring, self-disciplined and has his feet firmly grounded in reality. He can also teach himself, something which he has done on a regular basis with things that interest him. As such, whatever he does he will be independent and successful with, degree or not. And that’s all that matters.

If it sounds like I’m bragging, maybe I am a little. But from my perspective, raising kids that can not only think, but think critically for themselves, is by far the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. If we raised more kids to do those simple things socialism would go the way of the dinosaur.

Schools main purpose is as a warehouse for youth. Education is a distant secondary concern. As for the less than 10% requirement when push comes to shove leadership and vision will matter more than credentials.

Push will indeed come to shove, like a bulldozer! Those who can understand what is needed will be driving their OWN bulldozer.
My kids were considered “special needs”; now one has an English degree and the other is a senior in IT. We are not rich, the wife and I have STEM degrees and she did 98% of the homeschooling while I worked in order to finance it.
Both of mine seem to be content with themselves; they learn whatever they want. Last year I had to pick up VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) in order to do a project at work; this year, who knows? But learning keeps your mind oiled, and flexible. Also this year I am trying to lose the potbelly I’ve had thirty years; the most useful exercise I found on a Japanese anime (cartoon). Helps to look at lots of things; pick up new ideas and reject bad ones faster.

Charlotte Thompson Iserbyt served as the head of policy at the Department of Education during the first administration of Ronald Reagan. While working there she discovered a long term strategic plan by the tax exempt foundations to transform America from a nation of rugged individualists and problem solvers to a country of servile, brainwashed minions who simply regurgitate whatever they’re told.

This exclusive interview with Iserbyt breaks down how conditioning/training under a corporate agenda has replaced traditional education, leading to a deliberate dumbing down of Americans. Iserbyt further explains how Reagan signed agreements merging the U.S. and Soviet systems under the United Nations banner, turning over education and many other areas of public policy to global control.

This 74 minute exposé is a must see for anyone who wants to truly know why the education system is deliberately crafted to produce human drones with no critical thinking whose only skills are to be subservient, trust authority and follow orders.

And, the more money spent on educations, “….for the chilran….”, the worse it gets. It’s been that way since the end of the 50’s. The Lib-Progs kill two birds with one stone: indoctrinate the populace and spend us into bankruptcy. Pretty cleaver of them.
