Couldn’t happen to a more deservant man. The embodiment of the term ‘Blowhard’ who resorts to rank intimidation when losing a debate. The same sort who would use his position of authority to try to get his ashes hauled. For Christ’s sake when you make that much money can’t you figure out how to get laid without offending women who-employing good sense and taste-reject your attempt at rape?

PS Your books are full of shit.

I think OReilly mostly appeals to the oldest slice of baby boomers. 70 plus ?, I know my mom just hangs on his every word, and tries to get all her grandkids to read his stupid shit. If I try to get her to read a short article by any of the myriad of great liberty writers I get nothing but the sound of crickets chirping.

Most men and women who came of age in the madman era saw this kind of sexual harassment all the time. My dad was an executive in a large insurance company and as a kid I remember going to work with him and seeing guys drop their pencils all the time just to have the buxom secretaries bend over and pick them up. So a 70 year old white man sexually harassing a women is a yawner.

What is shocking is what an icon he has become to the boomers, he seems to reassure them of the bygone days. I know my mom says she won’t watch fox anymore (except Tucker Carlson) Maybe now some boomers will start to step out of their comfort zones and seek info elsewhere, which can only be a good thing.

I’ve never really cared for O’Reilly’s style (talking over people; rudeness; arrogance) and I remember the off camera remarks that seemed to prove without a doubt he was an elitist asshole.

However, when I was a young woman, I was taught that professional women dress professionally. For some reason, the Fox News Babes all decided that showing their cleavage and wearing spaghetti straps on air was professional attire. I have a hard time worrying about them being harassed.

So true Maggie. They show cleavage then get offended when men look? It’s ridiculous. Would they be happier if all men were Eunuchs?

Only if they could perform the procedure.

When I was in the USAF a young enlisted woman got brought up on charges for having an illicit relationship with an officer while deployed. Apparently, the young woman’s roommates walked in on the deed and shared the information with a few of the wrong sort of people.

Now, the rest of the story: She pretty much screwed anyone, proclaiming herself to be a nymphomaniac. She wore her uniforms skin tight and more than one person told me that she had been caught in the act in odd closets or storage rooms in the squadron. She was the type of military woman my peers and I aka “first women of AWACS” despised. (We were self-righteous and perhaps delusional, thinking we achieved our promotions on skill alone when we knew good and well the “it’s time” attitude helped our cause greatly. BUT, we did NOT parade our cleavage and camel toes around like this chick did… just sayin’.)

Back to the young lady: I “heard” that during the ill-conceived deployments to Puerto Rico, there was a line at her dorm room at times and I’ll spare you the sailor/seaman jokes. I do not know if there were any lines, however, I do know that when she was on “details” while awaiting courts martial, I stopped by where she was working to tell her that in spite of all the rumors and gossip, I thought it horribly wrong that SHE was awaiting courts martial while the pilot who’d been caught with her was allowed to simply resign his commission without further ado and move along to other career options. She taught me a lesson that day. Yes, SHE taught ME.

She told me that “they” would NEVER actually go through with putting her on trial. She said that she’d told her attorney to tell the commanders of all the squadrons that she was going to take the stand and NAME NAMES, dates and places. She said people in fairly high places were already intervening to stop what was going to take out more than one high-ranking officer, at least one with an eagle on his shoulder (later a star or two). I walked away from that encounter with a certain amount of admiration for her chutzpah AND a new understanding of double standards, especially when applied to morality codes in the military.

The double standards in the news industry are apparently even worse. Bill O’Reilly may be boorish and arrogant, but does anyone really think he is THAT stupid?

Who knows. Is Ailes that stupid? Looks damning to me but we’ll never know because it’s all going to get swept under the rug. I’m rooting for the ladies on this one because he’s the ruler’s sheep dog keeping his flock in the fold. Carlson is bound to be much more honest.

I agree with you.
Big media ladies are no shrinking violets, sensitive and sweet. They have their jobs because they possess talent and ambition and likely indulged in some ruthlessness during their climb of the success ladder. These women would never have a problem forming the words “Fuck off!” to men who act inappropiately. They are not going to be harrassed by anyone unless they choose to be for career advancement. Just my two cents.
Not defending O’Reilly, just smell a rat.

Let’s be real Maggie, those “Fox News Babes” were the secret sauce Ailes used to make Fox News #1 with their primary demographic of middle-age and older Men. Their dress was mandated (or is that MAN-dated 🙂 and they even had what was referred to as a “leg-cam”. Apparently the eye-candy tactic worked, but I don’t think you can lay it on the Females who work there.

Anyway for the record I found O’Reilly to be a blowhard asshole and although I watched him years ago, I honestly couldn’t sit through his crap. You guys DO remember his previous supermarket tabloid show, don’t you? “A Current Affair”, how fitting! Don’t miss this famous clip from that show “We’ll do it live”:

Maybe O’Reilly could follow Aaron’s Way:

Aaron Hernandez’s murder conviction is expected to be dismissed posthumously because of a legal rule called “abatement.” That would mean, legally speaking, Aaron Hernandez died an innocent man.

We might soon see a TV movie like Brian Piccolo’s tear-jerker of the week. Poor Aaron.

Beating my conviction

Life is bigger
It’s bigger
And you always haunt me
The lengths you go to chase me
The yardage in the field
Oh no, I’ve said too much
I screwed it up
That’s me in the jail cell
That’s me in the noose now
Beating my conviction
Trying to do a life sentence
And I don’t know if I can do it
Oh no I’ve said too much
I haven’t said enough
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought you said to try
Thinking of OJ
At every waking hour
I’m choosing my poor options
Trying not to go out like Ariel Castro
Like a hurt lost and blinded fool
Oh no, I’ve said too much
I screwed it up
Consider this
The hint of the century
Consider if
The gallows knot that brought me
To my knees failed
Why in all these fantasies
I’m flailing around
Now I’ve said too much
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought you said to try
But that was just a dream
That was just a dream
That’s me in the jail cell
That’s me in the noose now
Beating my conviction
Trying to do a life sentence
And I don’t know if I can do it
Oh no I’ve said too much
I haven’t said enough
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought you said to try
But that was just a dream, TRY, cry, why?, TRY
That was just a dream, just a dream, just a dream
Dream

Nicely done, but you should have prefaced it: “With Apologies to R.E.M.”

No, I think it complements their lyrics quite well, even the video could be modified to look as if the guy in the room were Aaron Hernandez in his jail cell.

They never explain why he’s getting angry and now I figure I tailored it to fit Aaron.

Plus, I got to mention that other sick fuck Castro.

I will find an opportunity to throw shitballs on Etan Patz’ killer, that motherfucker will not, WILL NOT live very long in prison.

I just don’t like listening to opinionated bastards who think they are right on everything and love the sound of their own voice and want several millions a year to let you hear their opinions which are really worth shit. I mean, I could get more from listening to BB than I would from this ass O’Reilly.
The fact that he was pro-Trump has nothing to do with it. I already hated his shtick long ago.

Mrs. Freud is not his mom, she’s his la dolce vita. They sold the house and were supposed to be out at the end of March. He disconnected in mid-March and here it is almost May and he has only posted once, when Trump decided to play the LBJ card.

you had read my comment of a few days before, I said war was the only way he could save his ass. Do I get credit? Nope. I’m telling you, Admin doesn’t pay me enough.
