TREMBLE, KING ALCOHOL

I wonder what SSS thinks about this? Personally I’d rather share the world and the road with stoners than drunks any day of the week.** I still don’t agree with legalizing weed (as opposed to decriminalization) because it just invites Uncle Sugar to become even more involved in people’s lives, but the results, if accurate, indicate changes that few, if any, predicted prior to legalization.

“A report by the Cannabiz Consumer Group (C2G) found that more than a quarter of the 40,000 people surveyed are already substituting bud (or would if they lived in weed-friendly territory) for beer. Overall beer sales dipped in 2015, and the C2G study predicts that cannabis could eventually “canna-balize” 7.1 percent of its current retail market revenues (resulting in a drop of more than $2 billion in beer sales).

The bad news for brew comes on the heels of findings late last year by Cowen and Company, an investment banking research firm, that revealed beer markets in Colorado, Oregon and Washington (all three states have legalized recreational marijuana) had “collectively underperformed” in 2016. Sales of Coors Light and Bud Light, for example, tumbled 4.4 percent. The study points the finger of blame at the growing popularity of cannabis.”

I like to think that once stoned, the former connoisseurs of Coors Light and Bud Light became coherent enough to realize that those two products amount to little more than horse piss and they quit cold turkey! I think the conclusions reached are wrong because the two major side effects of smoking weed are cottonmouth and the munchies. They certainly didn’t give up beverages so they must have switched to something else. Perhaps they discovered craft beer when the crap beer fog lifted?

IS….if weed is decriminalized, it is still a ‘crime’ when caught after the first offense. Seems like it is a BS categorization.

All controlled substances : alcholol , marajuana , opium , hashish , tobacco , cocaine , methamphedines and HERION are all controlled or illegal allegedly to benefit our alleged “FREE SOCIETY” . I believe the results are in and most substances either strictly controlled or blatantly banned and persecuted by law enforcement only increases the criminal element to attempt to profit and those with addictive behavior issues to desire illegalized substances more . As in nearly all issues between government and the American people it’s about the money . Drunk driving , bad idea no doubt yet state liscened businesses sell the product on premisises in amounts to individuals where it’s obvious the customer is impaired . The state of Maryland claims your decision making abilities are impaired after one alcholic beverage . So how can a business liscensed by the state sell you more than one drink and how can the state hold you responsible . You see where I am going with this the state wants to regulate human behavior but expect you as an individual to accept consequences from a situation that the state liscensed . Personal responsibility never shows up till the edge of demise with the state . I agree the free citizen must say no and use good judgement in all things and suffer the consequences when they do not . Such is not case in today’s mommy state . My take on the whole issue is most of the products should be made available to free citizens and like the HERION over doses not a problem . You as a responsible citizen know you are doing something destructive to yourself sticking a needle in your arm , have a nice day ! It’s time to allow a free people to judge for themselves . So fine regulate control , keep it clean and safe and perhaps a 3 time loser arrested for endangering others with your drug or alcholol induced behavior you are marked for life in some way to be determined . Spending billions on everything from destroying opium fields in Afghanistan or cocaine factory labs in Columbia has had little effect on illegal drug behavior in America . Legalize control and tax it : it’s time for a different approach because the bull shit is not working anymore . It’s all just a government jobs program fleecing and bankrupting our tax payers in society for minimal return . How many HERION addicts die from the substance they use ? How many could be functioning addicts ? Like maintence dose alcholic oh he has no problem he just loves his beer ! Ya ok sure …

People can do whatever they want, any drugs – I just don’t want to pay for their rehab or funeral. And if their habit causes them to steal, reek havoc on others – Well I’m here in Minneapolis, where there are 50,000 Somali’s – there’s some of them that wouldn’t mind laying some Sharia on these junkies.

Sex too. If I wasn’t invited to the conception, I don’t want to pay for the offspring.

The other two major side effects of smoking weed are lung cancer and for long-term users, stupidity.
Back when I knew plenty of the ‘wake & bake’ crowd – stupidity really was an issue.
Still, probably less harmful than booze.
Should society pay for lung cancer care for pot heads ? That’d be an interesting debate –

I’m not thrilled to look to the Netherlands about policy. We lost out rights over search and seizures for the beer bottle under the seat, or a roach in the ashtray. Johnny Law says what’s that smell!!! Prisons full of nonviolent offenders. Beer is no longer made with REAL hops. Make no mistake patents on all of it are already there. Monsanto ain’t said yes yet. Remember all those $ for research.

Here’s the deal: smoking weed reduces the use of painkiller drugs and crappy beer. How can this not be good?
