Masters of the Universe

Guest Post by Norman Franklin

As long as humans have organized themselves into social groups, there has been a 1% to rule over them. This elite group has usually been a stumbling block to human progress. Not the kind of progress that comes from a newer/better, brighter/shinier, techno fascist state. The kind of progress that emanates from the wellspring of human freedom, i.e. individual liberty.

Almost everywhere one turns today liberty and individual freedom are under attack by the 1%. To be fair to these Masters of the Universe types, they are really just pawns, wage slaves if you will just like the 99%. Even though the 1% rub elbows with the Gates, Buffets, Soros, and Koch’s of the world most of them will never ascend that last rung of the ladder to become an ‘owner.’

A sad irony about the 1% is the excessive hubris with which they live their lives. Many of them don’t even realize they are owned lock, stock, and smoking barrel by Rothschild, Rockefeller and a dozen or so other families that sit at the apex of the human pyramid. As the late great George Carlin said of the owners, “It’s a club, and you ain’t in it.”

Many of the 1% are part of the baby boomer generation. The financial collapse (bailout) of 2008 was an opportunity for this group to step up and assume the mantle of leadership, like their parents did during the last fourth turning. It was their ‘greatest generation’ moment. Yet they refused the medicine. Medicine, which was sorely needed to put our country back on a sustainable path. They were at the peak of their power, it was the biggest test of their lives yet they looked the other way and let the moment slip by.

By papering over the inequities in our society and kicking the can down the road they demonstrated a level of selfishness heretofore unseen in U. S. history. All so as to avoid losing a few percentage points of their net worth. These actions have doomed all of us to a far greater crisis. The time, place, and scope of which will be decided by ‘the owners.’

Most of the 1% I have met don’t even know or care what cognitive dissonance is. They occupy that rare place among humans where hubris, blind ambition, and great luck converge. The fact that the rule of law has been obliterated, in a country that was founded on the rule of law is completely lost on them.

Try explaining what folks like Llyod Bankfiend, Jamie Dimin, and John Porcine have gotten away with, then explain how a single mom gets 2 to 5 for stealing a loaf of Wonder bread. The usual reaction is glazed eyes and speechlessness, sometimes they fidget or shake, then try to change the subject to golf that’s it, or, or… politics, yes! Red team blue team. ‘If only the right people win next time.’ It’s always next time. What’s worse is they spend considerable time and energy trying to convince their kids and grand kids to buy into the same retarded paradigm.

The 1% throw most of their considerable weight both literally and figuratively behind the phony two party system. Nearly every gaping hole harping at us through the idiot box makes seven figures or more, and nearly all of them play the game of fake fighting in a way designed to obfuscate solutions to our underlying problems. This confuses the feeble minded who play along, and contributes to the increasing levels of distrust and disdain toward the fourth column.

The 1% also suppress any grass roots movement designed to stop America from engaging in no win wars in places we can’t even find on a map. These wars have been going on most of my adult life. One would think if we were serious about this fight, at some point we would drop the hammer, finish the job, and achieve full spectrum dominance.

The reason the 1% promote endless war is even more nefarious than the endless profits flowing to their bottom line, or their extreme hatred for dirt people in general. The real underlying reason is to bully the whole wide world into a position of subservience and slavery to the dollar hegemony. After all anyone who even thinks about using anything other than king dollar is (1) vilified (2) called a terrorist and (3) visited by planes and drones to ‘free the shit out of them.’ Try explaining this to a 1%er.

The owners must be rolling on the floor laughing their ever loving ass’s off, while drinking Chateu Lafite 1869 at $50,000 a glass, feasting on BBQ baby hearts drenched in walnut sauce, enjoying the rarefied air of their summer palaces in Chile, Paraguay, St. John, Tristan da Cunha, or wherever. They probably never imagined, even in their wildest dreams that they the 0.0000.1% could have taken over 99% of everything without even breaking a sweat.

Conversations I have had with 1%ers lead me to believe that demographics and nepotism played a huge role in their success. Many are small business owners that have worked very hard over the years. This work ethic can’t excuse all the times they closed their eyes, covered their ears, and refused to raise their collective voice in anger. These are broad strokes to be sure, describing an entire group. However if you’re a boomer who wound up at The Burning Platform reading this, then chances are this does not apply to you.

As more and more wake up to the stone cold fact that we have no voice in the decisions that effect the fiscal viability of the nation. As more and more wake up to the lies and deceit that get thrown around daily by the small minority that rule. As more and more wake up to the fact that we don’t have a democracy, let alone a republic. The simmering anger and resentment will turn into a raging wildfire. This rage once released will afford no chance for things to ever return to a semblance of normality.

The owners and their boomer lackeys have institutionalized widespread theft and abuse of the dirt people. Their arrogant in your face style of governance shows it. It is now clear that they will never make even the smallest reform or even a token attempt to right the good ship America. The owner’s response to being informed of the quickly rising water below decks? ‘Set the throttle on full and shoot for the sun, full speed ahead.’ They are the parasites killing off the host.

It is said in the Good Book, ‘Vengeance is mine.’ However we are now living by the law of the jungle not the eternal law of the land. When the time comes to rise above all the depravity that has been foisted upon us, will we be able to forgive and focus on regaining what was lost, thus insuring that we don’t become that which we hate. Or will we descend into a quagmire of vengeance and retribution? These are questions that try a man’s soul.

I pray often for wisdom from the divine governor of the universe. I pray for justice and accountability. And I hope that my prayers are answered. But on the oft chance that I felt they would not be answered I would begin to compile a list of those that were to big to fail. Names, addresses, pictures of those having property within 50 miles of my home who were in upper management/ownership of the too big to fail banks, insurance, politics, and media. Those masters of the universe that committed this rape on America. Also in my list I would include any other intelligence I could gather, known hangouts/associates, travel routes, etc.

The masters of the universe have made peaceful redress of our grievances impossible, every avenue has been closed off. In their arrogant smugness, they foolishly believe this is the end of the story, case closed, settled science and all that. This long train of abuse has led to absolute despotism enviably leading to an un-amicable divorce. They will not come to their senses just as their king of England would not 240 years ago. What will be unleashed will be on their heads. We the dirt people will not be responsible for what becomes buried in the countryside.

These fools have torn asunder the temporal fabric that has held our civilization together. It is an age old story as all the great civilizations of the past can attest. Revelation says, woe unto thee leaders and men of great that the mountains will fall on you. For the great day has come and who will be able to stand? All of us who are now awake, bear witness to the eternal law written in our hearts. The multi generational goal envisioned by the owners is nearly complete. A worldwide slave plantation where we are all dead men walking

Wow.
Not much to add to that. “Or will we descend into the quagmire of vengeance and retribution”.
If you’re here when this happens, don’t take that route. I took it because it seemed easy and less painful. I had no idea what hard and exhausting work it is to take what’s easy or expedient.

When the New World Order, the world ruling government, is accomplished, then the end is near. Depending on how you read Revelation, it will be three-and-a-half, or seven years till Jesus Christ comes and puts an end to the evil.
When the owners do accomplish their total control, it won’t last long, but it will be bloody.
Mankind will not be the power to stop the evil. The evil power is greater than all the total power that mankind can muster. The evil is Satanic. God will end it.

The other side of the coin has been pointed out many times: 99 to one, the one loses. So it’s not 99 to 1. It’s not 1% ruling. Huge swaths of the 99 elevate & revere & defer to rulers. Until, rarely, they don’t. But after taking out the trash that was previously elevated – just like the people who relocate from Jersey to Phoenix, bringing their lawns & their politics & other reflexes with them – they immediately elevate some new trash. Wherever you go, there you are. If you’re a trash couture type, emperor’s robes & all that runway sashay, as most are, the repetition compulsion will keep on…repeating. Just as it has. Spectacle-loving spectators make spectacles of themselves – feel that fame’s few minutes rubbing off? – & there are no spectacles that will correct such visions.

Since I like to nit pick…..”Jamie Dimin” should be “Jamie Dimon”. 😉

Another good piece Jim. Have you ever spoken with Chris Martenson? I loved his Crash Course, but haven’t really followed him all that much since then. I am wondering what we can do about the state of the affairs at this point other than to wait it out and try to live through whatever chaos ensues. It seemed to me that Chris did the Crash Course, realized we were all fucked and then decided to retire to the country and enjoy whatever time he has left. I’d love to read an article by you where you come up with ideas on what we can do once we see that we are well and truly fucked.

Jeremiah 17:9
9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly perverse and corrupt and severely, mortally sick! Who can know it [perceive, understand, be acquainted with his own heart and mind]?

The “ruling elite” no matter how you slice it are mere men. That’s it. They have absolutely ZERO power over your soul/spirit. They only have power over you if you grant it to them, That’s it.

The top 1% of earners after a quick google search is somewhere in the neighborhood of 300k per year. I have had years above and severely below that mark.

Norman says this in his article: “Conversations I have had with 1%ers lead me to believe that demographics and nepotism parlayed a huge role in their success. Many are small business owners that have worked very hard over the years. This work ethic alone can’t excuse….”

Demographics and nepotism!!?? BULLSHIT. There isn’t one small business owner that owes his/her success to demographics & nepotism. My brother inherited the family business (Demographics & nepotism). But you know what? He would be dead broke right now if he did not run the business properly. I’ve seen it happen.

It happened to me. I started a business with “seed” money. (Demographics & nepotism). It took me 15 years, but in 15 years I was BROKE. It wasn’t even paycheck to paycheck. It was day to day living. I kept selling shit I didn’t need and kept getting up and going to work.

I started a brand new business with NO MONEY and I MEAN NO MONEY. I was flat broke. I did not act broke. I went to work; made sales calls; estimated; did bookkeeping EVERYHTING. My wage for working over 100 hours per week? 50k the first year. My wages for working over 100 hours per week 100k the 2nd year. My wages for working over 100 hours per week the 3rd year? 400+K

If I can do it ANYONE can do it. I am a college drop out/flunky. I have done it in spite of myself. I don’t give a shit about the 1% or the .0001%. The only power they have over my life is the power I allow them to have. I do care about how they spend their money. Who do you Think is providing jobs for the “dirt” people? Who is investing the money to build the housing developments commercial buildings etc that I work on. Who is donationg to the Catholic school so they can build a new classroom building? Who is sending money to the missionary family in India who is rescuing young girls from a life of slavery? Who is giving money to Zoe International who rescues young girls and boys in the US and abroad from the sex trade? Who is donating money to build cancer research hospitals?

The bottom 99%? Sorry, BUT NO. I am and people I know. So don’t tell me what I do and do not stand up for.

You want to make a difference? Want to do something? Change the world one person; one life; one soul at a time. Save one girl from the sex trade and you just might make an eternal difference.

People that fail and then quit trying or didn’t try in the first place don’t like to be told it’s their own fault.

Everything has to be the fault of the Jews or the Rich or something, surely it can’t be their own fault.

Well, just reserve a sliver of mind for survivorship bias. The fault may not be in our stars(tuff)…but luck is more unstable than anything the San Andreas has ever done. You don’t hear much about the majority that tries, tries again ∞ but never makes it. Horatio Alger sells, also ran(their asses off)s don’t.

Should ever be forgot! Here’s one reason: tried, but didn’t make it

Constman, I appreciate your thoughts, as well as everyone who read this and commented. Thanks. I think I said ‘If you wound up at TBP reading this then chances are this does not apply to you.’

I have failed at many things in my life, and I didn’t blame anyone but myself. In my early 20s I had a nice job and house. It all went away, I did not adapt fast enough. So I packed my clothes, hand tools, and shotgun which was all I owned and moved to Las Vegas,I barely had enough gas money to get there. I didn’t know anybody or have a job waiting. I likewise did not act broke and worked my ass off. After a year I started my own plumbing company and kept at it for 20 years.

I married, started a family and lived my life. We never spent more in a year than we made. We always saved and invested first. My wife had her own business as well. We never came close to the 300-400k you talk about, but our priority was to never miss any of the kids activities.

We sold our real estate at the top of the market in 2005, then we waited, till 2012 when bought a country place where a peaceful river flows. At that time out here there was blood on the streets. In between we lost 50k betting against the house. What a fool I was to think that the value of golden slacks and other TBTF banks should reflect reality. But you win some and you lose some.

The thing about it is this was speculative money that didn’t devastate us when it went away. The people my anger is directed against were all made whole and bailed out. While many people who had worked all their live’s lost most of their nest egg because their future was tied up in something we were all told was safe, only to find it was nothing but paper and fire.

Point is we all have different experiences. I know people who have had a business given to them that will never fail, because of how it was built and capitalized. I am glad that you have peace. I hope to find my own someday soon.

I did not wish to grow into middle age in the middle of an epoch crisis, however it is what it is, the rhyme of history has preordained this for us in the nomad generation. Up until now I went about the business of my life quietly and without fanfare just as most Gen Xers have.

As a Gen Xer I am still trying (foolishly maybe?) to hold on to the ways of my grandparents generation by working hard, saving, and staying out of debt. This has been made exponentially harder for me and my offspring by the actions of those who destroyed the rule of law. So yes I am pissed. But I’m trying to get better.

Thanks to all of you for being here.

Const – well done. Well said. My goals in life, besides to keep my family fed and safe, is to accept responsibilty for my actions, to not blame my failures on others, and to die without regrets. My experience is much as yours – hard work, thrift, education, honesty in business = financial sucess. It is still possible. The more people say it is not, the more convinced I am it is.

This system will not work for everyone – but it will work for anyone. Anyone that follows the path, that is. Almost none will. Which is a godsend to those that do.

The Masters have to disarm us before they can implement their final solution for the dirt people. I don’t understand why they have “allowed” us to keep arming ourselves with almost anything we want. In fact, many states have gone to “Constitutional Carry”. No license for either concealed or open carry. No license, private gun sales and cash purchases of ammo and accessories equals a lot of weapons in the hands of very angry citizens.

You wonder why? Just look at the state of culture in the US, all the hate rhetoric, racial tension, moral degeneracy, etc. They will pit us against ourselves, and we’ll all be well armed to take a huge chunk of their problem out for them. Then they just send in the mop up crew to finish the job and disarm who’s left.

Thanks UN!

Ed – I hate the entire 1% narrative. It lumps in the hard-working and deserving. It tars the aspirational with the same brush as the oligarchs. People do not understand who the 1% really is – small biz, accountants, lawyers, doctors, engineers, etc. Only a tiny fraction of the top 1% are truly the “elite”.

9,000 elites doesn’t make 1%. I was focusing on the outcome and missed that. I’m in the bottom 10% by choice but I’m widowed with no kids to raise. I never had difficulty making it though and made money for other people and I don’t mean when I was a 2 bit hoodlum. When I was dating my late wife I begged her to get out of the market. But since her nice honest young stockbroker from texas told her I was crazy she watched her and her late husbands 600,000 401k vaporize down to 230,000. A year later he had paired it down to 125,000. She blamed Clinton and Greenspan. There is a limit to how much we can blame on Conspiracies. Greenspan warned us in his famous “Irrational exuberance” talk. That doesn’t change the fact that these same people will seek revenge. She was never the same after that even though I got a lot of it back for her before she passed away. A decent tax lawyer could have helped her move that money sideways without too much of a tax hit. She is pretty typical and Norman is right to say they will be mad but the .001% will not be visible so I think they will tar and feather anyone they can justify. Hence my warning not to.

Flea, fleecing the widow is as old as stealing cookies from the cookie jar. You were there to rescue her after dickless drained her account. What more could a husband want to happen to his widowed wife?
Good thing Greenspan drained the savings of old folks before they became victims of the other wolves.
