Now that’s wisdom. A man who could not save himself. Who could not add one inch to his stature or one second to his life. A man who could not garauntee his own next heart beat, is telling us that only we, who are just as helpless as he was, can save ourselves. Save ourselves from what?
The beginning of true wisdom is the reverential fear of the Lord Jesus Christ. And the saving grace that only He can provide. Only He can save anyone. Save from what? From the fruitless endeavor of trying to save ourselves.

Gautama Buddha found a way of life that respects all sentient life. He even taught his followers a way to escape from the persistent delusions that plague life, from ancient times to these. He taught a systematic method to attain that escape, why it was necessary and details of how to do it.
