Politicians Are Violence Brokers and Nothing More

Guest Post by Bill Buppert

Publisher’s Note: Yes, it’s Memorial Day, a keen riff on what should actually be called Mass Murder Day. America has been at war for 222 years. Through curious and suspect maritime provocations bouncing around the storied history of the US, the American foreign policy apparatchiks and their dull tools in the Pentagram have been merrily waging conflict around the globe for generations. And a small microcosm of those generations have either not returned or returned so maimed and disfigured their parents and close family didn’t recognize them.

The US isn’t alone. For every French male born in 1892, half of them would either be maimed or perish when the dust cleared from the Great War in 1918 which made the world safe as an orchid house for whole new Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie sets writ large on the planet for hundreds of millions to see. Marxism saw itself weaponized in the waking fever-dreams of political worthies like Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, Tojo and RedDR during the War to Save Josef Stalin. -BB

I’ve got bad news for you. You can’t stop cannibals by eating them.

It may appear to be from the University of the Intuitively Obvious but even the most brilliant (if violently addled) minds on Earth have thought that voting and government could deliver heaven on Earth and peace for mankind.

They were wrong.

I’ve mentioned before that statesman is a nonsensical word. It’s likely calling serial killers simply men of eccentric taste. Politicians are violence brokers and nothing more. Their stock in trade is threats and institutionalization of violence.

Actual instantiation of maiming and death.

Their vocation is carried out every day by legions of police roaming the fruited plain cajoling, fining, kidnapping, maiming and killing Americans daily.

The bad news is that terrorism is politically motivated violence to achieve political objectives against innocents and non-combatants.

The worst news is that absent terrorism and its concomitant policies in everyday life, no government could survive a single day.

Here’s some perspective, whatever cretin inhabits the Offal Office even the sainted Ron Paul could not change a single degree of course correction in the ship of state.

The Deep State wouldn’t permit it. This isn’t conspiracy theory but the acknowledgement that a few thousand dedicated idealists can’t touch the bureaucracy.

They control everything. Now we are fortunate that government is so inept. Hanlon’s Razor tells us you “never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity” or “don’t assume bad intentions over neglect and misunderstanding.” What would the planet look like if any government enterprise were efficient?

Trump, better described as The Amphibian, is not crass or untalented, he is simply the latest statist meat bag to dress itself up and land in the Offal Office.

This has been the case since the militarily inept George Washington bestrode a horse to put down a tax rebellion in Pennsylvania in 1794 once the Constitutional coup laid down the framework for a Deep State to rival all such nomenklatura constructs in the future. The USSR would surrender its gold medal in the Soviet Olympics in 1991 as the US continued to put an Orwellian happy face on smashing liberty at every turn domestically and internationally.

And, again and again, the kabuki theater of the sacred vote would keep the usual suspects among both the hoi poloi and the self-anointed collectivist intelligentsia  aspirating on ghost cock as they excitedly debated the contest between two parties whose only difference is the spelling.

Let’s ask some hard questions that are actually easy to answer.

Does history demonstrate a single state in the last five hundred years of Western civilization that reduced the grasp or expanse of the politician’s reach into the Helot heartlands of the zoos they call nations?

Has a nation ever fought a war, which at its conclusion rendered a smaller state than it started with? Even in the heartlands of the vanquished?

Is there a reason for the Helium Reserve to provision the strategic supply of noble gas for airships, mohair subsidies from the Korean War or SIGTARP (look it up) to still exist?

This is merely the tip of the iceberg. Remember it took nearly four generations to stop the 1937 Stalinized collectivization of raisin-grape growing in America by the Feds. These are small parts of the vast Federal kudzu that strangles America to the advantage of the political classes and their satraps.

I would suggest that the twentieth century advancements in bureaucracy, accountancy technology, fiat currencies and a curious reluctance on the part of sheep to argue over being sheared accelerated the growth of the state. The income tax and all the other imposts and taxes I have detailed ad nauseum on this site could not have existed at the turn of the twentieth century; the surveillance, police state and deficit spending schemes had not reached the maturation necessary to make it work.

But circumstance started to change and war provided many answers on this eve of Memorial Day. Take a look at the increase in the acknowledged government debt of the US from 1910-1919. It increased two orders of magnitude. It tripled the debt from eight percent of GDP to twenty nine percent of GDP. We can thank the murderous Woodrow Wilson for much of it. Excepting Coolidge, all of his successors have been just as odious and economically illiterate in piling on monstrous debt.

Do you know why the near zero interest rate has been a Fed policy in the twenty-first century? The first reason is that fiat currency is subject only to political whim and not economic rationality. The second reason is that with current outlandish spending levels and debt incurred to sustain the money laundering for the military-industrial complex and the across the board forced wealth transfers, what would happen if the interest (deficit spending) on the acknowledged debt (nearly twenty trillion debt bucks) rose above one percent?

Glad you asked.

Since the politicians own the fiat currency, they determine the interest rates artificially which as everyone here who is an entrepreneur knows is a market risk management index but in this case the game is rigged.

Given its sheer size, if the interest rate on that debt were to rise by even 1%, the annual federal deficit rises by $190 billion. A 2% increase in interest rate levels would up the federal deficit by $380 billion, and if rates were 5% higher, the annual federal deficit rises by $950 billion. That is monies on top of an already bloated debt service.

For the last eight years, the Fed has kept interest rates at 0 to 1%. During that time, it also sold trillions in bonds to fund the re-inflation of the equity markets from the low of about 6,500 to about 17,500 by the end of the Obama Administration.

It means that the game is rigged against the people for whom the debt is incurred through the chimera of implied consent. It means the cattle in the tax plantation are the collateral along with their unborn progeny.

So what those numbers mean is that it is impossible for the ingenious politicians who have painted themselves into a corner to alter the fiat currency gamble on crushing the boom or bust cycle. They can’t unless they stop artificially manipulating the valuation.

How do you solve this? The miraculous hands-off recovery of the recession-depression in 1920-21.

How is it, that government can tax future generations today, but it is not considered taxation without representation?

So I offer this as an illustration of an inescapable and tragically true circumstance.

The violence brokers smiling beatifically on the dais or at the camera in front of their favorite spokes-budgies in the media have no answers and keep kicking the can down the road.

And there is no precedent of a politician or state ever un-fucking existential economic cluster-fucks that they have handcrafted through their own economic illiteracy, intellectual banality, misdirection and legerdemain.

Very few of these violence brokers have received their due like Alexander Hamilton, William Henry Harrison, Lincoln, Garfield and McKinley. Or more spectacularly, the pathetic but justified Christmas extermination of the lovely Ceausescu couple in Romania when they threw off the Soviet shackles to lock themselves in a more homegrown communist embrace.

So if you still think voting is worthwhile, take George Carlin’s word for it.

It isn’t.

America is not a free country and even in the samizdat I labor under, I can’t tell you what to do but history is replete with many examples.

Hit the books.

Resist.

America hatred continues to grow, among its own people as well as its enemies.

There is very little time left for America as a self governing and sovereign nation to itself, what comes next I don’t know but it won’t resemble America as it has been and may not even remain a single country.

The majority of America haters are going to find out too late, as the old song says, “you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone” and will regret it as they sink into leftist totalitarian despair that there is no longer anything that can be done about it.

America haters don’t hate “America the people” and
peace, liberty, and honest profit that gives back.
What are we going to wish for? We aren’t going to
wish for the past, but possibly a better future. The
present? We have already lost everything but the
external symbols and those are falling off as well.
The present system sucks. Everything boils down to
a scam, a ponzi, an illusion…fading fast.
The resistance is a mere intellectual construct.

What a GREAT article. Stop participating in their insidious game. Just don’t vote.

As a small child I sat at the knee of one of the greatest men of my life and learned about life. He was part of the great Italian migration of the early 20th century. Just another old dago to the rest of the world but a renaissance man to me. Every late afternoon we’d sit on his lawn and I’d read the newspaper to him while he ate raw garlic (“it tins da blood”) and sip his homemade wine. I learned to sit upwind of his breath. After reading to him the details of the near catastrophe of the Cuban Missile Crisis I asked for his thoughts. He sat back and pondered it, like always-never a rash thought. Just leave the USSR to themselves he said. Don’t confront them. Life is cheap to the Russians. Their system was hopelessly corrupt, thus unsustainable. Let them stew in their own juice and one day they will just go away. Collapse of their own weight. Being the young fool I was I chortled under my breath. Just go away? We damn near just came to nuclear blows with them. They were on the march around the world in S.E. Asia, eastern Europe, South America. The thought that they would one day dry up and blow away was absurd-until it happened in 1989.

Could this happen to the biggest, most powerful and rapacious gov’t the world has ever known? Could the federal gov’t just vanish one day like the mighty USSR? I’ve seen it happen before and it was predictable. I heard it, not from some overpaid yacker on tv but from that renaissance man, my grandfather.

excellent writing CC, and thanks.

It has happened to Russia, and it is happening
to the USA. We have a bit of respite because the
savings of the nation haven’t been completely
looted. There are a few trillions left to steal.

Hmmm, let’s look at World War I. Germany, Austria-Hungary, even Russia by the looks of it (though they grabbed back the Baltic States only to lose them again, but retained E Prussia).

Found some school teacher’s rendition, but it’s concise enough for now.

http://mrknighths.weebly.com/pre-and-post-world-war-1-map-comparison.html

Yugoslavia was a political fiction that would have dissolved with or without Clinton. Had you ever been to Yugoslavia? Multiple soldiers on every local rail platform as the express rolled by.

Poland had it’s misfortune of being located between Germany and Russia. Scroll through the maps to see and ever changing size. I apologize for the over generalization of location, but we are not here to discuss the fine points.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Territorial_evolution_of_Poland

The authors poses the question about countries and individual wars. However history is filled with the expansion and contraction of empires which have collapsed or certainly shrunk over time….easy enough that I don’t even have to look it up: the Romans, the Mongols, Spanish, British, and more recently USSR to Russia.

The United States of America will be added to the list of names at some point.

Once you hand power to the deranged they are never going to give it back. If you voted for a sitting representative then you are responsible for this shit show. If you didn’t vote, and most merkins don’t, then it is your fault too because they continue the scam through your indifference. There seems to be, as pointed out in the article, only one way to remove an entrenched oligarchy and that is through violence. That is not to say that there are not other ways, just that there is no example in history of a successful alternative. So it seems to me that either you arm up and make the stand or you find a better way. I would like to suggest that we try one simple rule. Never vote for anyone who has served in government. Not one. Never. Nobody gets to go back to that cushy job in Washington, or Sacramento, or Harrisburg. And as to who you do vote for…vote for your friends. Vote for people whom you personally know. Anything less is not a democracy. No Democraps. No Repuglicans. Nobody who wants to be there should ever be allowed anywhere near the levers of power. No Bernie. No Hillary. No Donald. If they want it that is all the proof that you need that they shouldn’t have it.

This one simple strategy will so confuse the power structure that it will collapse. Congress will look like the chimp compound at the zoo with everyone flinging poo at each other all day, every day and they won’t have the time or the skill necessary to take any more of our freedoms away from us.

Rob,
what excellent ideas! I will add another = withdraw
consent. Take your paid off resources and sell them.
Figure out a way to reduce expenses to the extreme.
I am talking about all monthly expenditures that you
do not need…then rent or buy for cash. Cancel all
subscriptions, don’t buy any useless crap. Eat in.
Wouldn’t it be a gas to see the system grind down
and the (EG) “news media” to have 15 viewers.
We can “withdraw” our advertising as well. Starve
the beast. No votes, no political contributions,
back to slim basics = very little to no tax owed.
Etcetera.

Right on Suzanna! I am in total agreement with your comment. CCRider says, ” Stop participating in their insidious game. Just don’t vote.” I say voting doesn’t matter one way or the other if you do or you don’t.

What matters is starving the beast. Don’t participate in the economy. Stop being a wage slave handing over half of what you earn to a violent, gluttonous behemoth. Stop buying crap you don’t need. Don’t use the banks. Sure as hell don’t borrow money from them. That’s how they create most of the currency into existence they use for waging their dirty wars. Stop watching television. It’s more than just propaganda, it’s mind manipulation. It’s insidious addictive porn. It’s why Americans are so damn fat. All those ads for food make uncontrollable cravings for fat and carbs, but it goes much deeper than just food ads. They sell you the plantation on TV. They sell you drugs on TV. The drugs you need to be able to cope with being a slave on the plantation. Quit taking their pills. Grow your own food. Make your own electricity.

I’ve been off grid for two years now and I’m still amazed at how comfortable I am without all that stuff I was sure I couldn’t live without, like A/C, washer/dryer, TV, running water or even a well. I love my new life. No boss, no co-workers, no traffic, no alarm clock, no wristwatch. Most of the time I don’t even know what day it is.

Fighting to end the Fed will never achieve anything. They’ll just crush you. Finding a way around the Fed, creating an alternate system, you might have a chance. Use your imagination to figure out how to make a living in the underground economy and quit handing your money over to violent politicians. Ayn Rand had it right in Atlas Shrugged.

BB this is one of the best articles I’ve read in years. You are showing us the emperor with no clothes. Pulling the curtain back to see the bullshit for what it is.

For cripsakes… When are you people going to learn: Voting doesn’t change anything!!!… if it did, they wouldn’t let you do it.

It just blows my mind that people think they can VOTE their way out of this mess.

News Flash Rob: Why do you think they (the people who presume to rule you) go out of their way to encourage voting??

Are you really delusional enough to believe it’s for your benefit???

If you recall, Obungholio actually floated the idea of mandatory voting in the US! What does that tell you?

Hell, North Korea has mandatory voting. Why shouldn’t we?

Financial independence is also a way to suffocate the nutjob power mongers. When you are in debt, you are forced to earn money to continue to service the debt, thus pay taxes. However, once you are out of debt, then it is YOUR decision if you want to earn, and if so, how much you want to earn. the IRS can only tax you on your earnings. If you are not forced to earn, then all of a sudden, you can vote with your one true power left, the purse. You can choose to only work as much, and earn as much as you see fit. If that amount just happens to be under the level of taxation to fund the assholes “in charge” well, then so be it.
The Fed can only print debt as long as someone is willing to take on the payment service of it. If the debt slaves dry up, their continued existence is in jeopardy. Why do you think that the push by TPTB is always to “earn more”, “buy more”, consume, “you deserve this new thing” etc. Because without the continued debt servitude of all of us, the system would literally fall in on itself. CCRider’s post was excellent, and illustrates exactly what happens when a system gets to the point of folding in on itself. We have already exceeded that point, it happened in 2008, the only thing that is now keeping the ship afloat is a concerted effort on the part of EVERY SINGLE CENTRAL BANK on planet earth, and EVERY SINGLE WESTERN GOVERNMENT to keep it afloat. Even with all of that global effort, GDP in most nations has not budged in a statistically relevant way. This is the physical principal of EROEI – Energy Returned on Energy Invested. Right now, the EROEI on just about every western economy is about +0.1, and quickly deteriorating. When it reaches 0.0, then, very quickly things will unravel. The Soviet Union learned this, as their entire economy and government fell in a very short period of time. One day, it just disappeared. Now there is a global effort to keep the entire west from that same fate, however, judging by the amount of resources being thrown at it, with little result, we are literally a handful of years (and maybe one black swan) away from the same fate. All you can do is do your part and not participate, and get out of debt.

People who elect…are accomplices. Period. For the “elected” are “legitimate” monopoly sellers of force, unrefusable offer-makers (but on pain of death or caging). “Electing” is the hiring out of wetwork. Statesman = company man. Nice to be seeing “constitutional coup” this morning; that’s exactly what it was. The so-called revolution was also a coup. Meet the new, same as, if not worse than, the old. Inherent contradiction – yep! – is something to have confidence in; it has worked to implode septic systems many times already, & will probably continue to work. Of course, the shit-spatter will dapple most. & the shit shrapnel will demise many. & then the survivors will begin anew on the next septic system.

Well ladies, I am just pointing out that you can either change the way you use the voting system, or get out your guns. Those are the two choices. I don’t see any of you standing there with your guns so I have to assume that perhaps changing the way you interact with the system is a viable alternative. Of course, that assumes that they actually count the votes. I personally don’t believe that they even count the votes. The whole concept of a secret ballot is simply an enabling lie to ensure that those in power stay in power. If that is true, and I don’t know for sure if it is, then that goes a long way to how this country of poorly educated troglodytes managed to throw off their innate stupidity just long enough to elect obama. I have long wondered how a country of bigots, and you know you all are, could ever vote for a black man. Well maybe you didn’t. Maybe they just make up the numbers and you all go along because you are a product of the worst educational system on the planet. Maybe Jackson is right. If he is then you had better stock up because there is only one way out and that involves violence.

Jackson,
“not likely” because we are trained to believe shiny
new expensive things are the look and action of success.
It follows that personal esteem depends, for many, on showing
the “riches” off, or pretending to have $, which is really a
“good” credit score. Ha Ha….ever compare scores?

I learned a few lessons about big $ early. There are all types
of wealthy…many disguise their “worth” by dressing down
and living modest. It works = no one hates you, plots against
you, or envies you one tiny bit. You get left alone.

Those days are over perhaps, but the best defense is still to
live modestly and spend little. Wouldn’t it be dreamy to
avoid the punishing taxes? The “new” rich is lean and mean,
trim and fit.
BTW, who wants to fly anymore? First those
freaks put their hands in someone’s pants, then they paw
through your snacks. Ever see a TSA change their gloves between gropings?
Last, a friend’s parents entertained
a Haitian couple (don’t ask) and were left w/ bed bugs.
Those bugs and others are available in your unwashed sardine
seat and whatever else on various surfaces.
Apparently there is no treatment, save one…close up the house
and leave it through a winter unheated. Great.
OOPs…I went too far, please forgive.

I have always wondered why some attorney’s from Mises or the FFE have not yet petitioned the Supreme Court on that exact principle
