The story of how they came to be called “Buffalo Soldiers” is interesting.
The story is that the Indians, the Cheyenne who fought them, began calling them Buffalo Solders because their their black woolly hair and features made them think they were part Buffalo.
I heard that they were called Buffalo Soldiers by the Native Tribes because they tasted good, if one could get by the smell.

My daughter in laws father is Pro Union, anti Right to Work, but for some reason pro DACA, and of course, pro Obamacare.
He’s not a very smart man, like most of the liberal/progressive base he is nothing more than a useful idiot to parrot what he is trained to squawk about.

Tear down all the monuments of the men who promoted and started the Civil War (like Lincoln). Then tear up all the monuments to any war (and all the war cemeteries like Arlington). Tear down the Pentagon, Congress Building and all churches. Build all new monuments to honor only Blacks, Communist, and Hippies. Only then will America be purged of evil, have Freedom of Speech and people flourish like in North Korea, Cuba, Zimbabwe, Venezuela, Angola, Congo, South Africa etc.

I never understood how folks like Bob Marley and others could pay tribute to these “soldiers.” They went from being slaves on someone’s plantation to being slaves to the new US Empire of death and destruction. How is that worthy of praise or adoration?
