Stucky QOTD: Hugh Hefner

Admin often posts R.I.P. announcements of various dead people, some of them not well known. Yet, he did not do so for one of the most iconic well-known figures of modern times? This can not stand!

Eating, sleeping, and sex are the most natural and necessary of human functions. We all do it, yea, we must. Show a picture of someone eating? No big deal. Show a picture of someone sleeping? No big deal. Show a picture of someone fucking?  OHMIGOD, WE’RE GOING TO HELL!! This makes no logical sense.

Q1: Have you watched Porn in the last year?

(Note: This is to establish a baseline. Failure to answer invalidates you subsequent commentary.)

—— Q1-A (optional) Did you choke the chicken or pacify the beaver?

Q2: What is Porn? (Consider that the above 50′s Playboy centerfold  was once considered pornography … and compare it to the very ads that are on TBP today.)

Q3: What’s wrong with Porn, anyway?

Q1: Of course it’s 2017.
Q2: I don’t use the term. I just love beautiful naked women. including the playboy picture you posted. Yummy!
Q3: Nothing. Being attracted to beautiful members of the opposite sex is natural, and as the goddess intended. Why is it acceptable to watch a horror movie with people being slashed up and murdered but not acceptable to watch people fucking. Which is more healthy and natural.
Grow up people, get over the Catholic schoolboy guilt that was promoted by a bunch of pedophiles.

Literal translation: Pornography – The Devils Pictures

An incentive to satisfy the beaver. Every guy needs a boost now and then.

Ever attend an event with a motivational speaker? You go out of there with this great ‘glow’. You will conquer the world. After about 3 days, the glow disappears. Same with porn.

I’ve read stats: 84% of the males view porn, and 33% of the females.

The problem is now that it’s readily available, it’s pretty much lost it’s impact.

With that attitude, it’s no wonder women get turned off.

Here’s a lesson, men. We all know men are visual creatures, especially when it comes to sex. You know, hands gripping the sheets and twisting them, that sort of thing during sex.
But women are engaged mentally. Cuddling, telling her you love her, giving her a sense of love and being a part of you is a bigger turn on for women. Romance, in other words. The mental aspect is a huge part of it for women. Feed it, and you will be rewarded.

Also, a direct correlation between declines in marriage, lower birth rates among European descent and Japanese youth.
Porn stimulates endorphin/serotonin centers in the brain and stimulates the pleasure centers–all fine and good except that it is progressive ( regressive?) and requires more porn, increased levels of depravity and actually makes the physical act with a living female less satisfying.
This is from a scientific aspect—morally, anything that destroys marriages and leaves children in single parent households fails the morality test for my PERSONAL value system.

Porn is far more insidious than looking at ” a few pretty, naked girls” or choking one’s chicken.

Sex with daughters, sons, cousins was only allowed at the beginning of the human race, when the human race was more pure. For example, when Adam and Eve had children and their son got married, who did he marry? A sister, of course. Later, it was cousins. Same thing happened after the flood. The three children of Noah’s children had to marry cousins. But after that, genetics played a roll and they could no longer have sex with close relatives due to birth defects, same as today. So it was a whole different ballgame back then.

I have a better question, what positive impact has porn had on American life?

Or how about this one: if your mother, wife or daughter did porn, how would you feel about it?

Here’s the thing, like Paddock, Hefner is simply a reflection of the deeper illness present in our current culture. You push people past the limits of traditional morality and eventually even that gets stale and you want a new thrill, eventually five or six women at the same time or gambling 100K in a day just isn’t enough to awaken that dead soul, corrupted beyond redemption.

Anyone who still believes in the lies of modernity is welcome to it.

Diogenes,

I think if you are a straight male of any kind you’ve probably used porn at some stage in your life (or still do). The question isn’t whether or not we’ve used it but whether or not it is good for you, your relationship with your spouse and the broader society. It is primarily an introspective issue, I think, and one that each of us has to answer on our own.

HSF raises a good question – what if it was your wife or daughter on the screen?

That’s just adding perspective is all it is – it’s not casting judgement or denying our nature.

The sex drive in a man is a very primal thing. The question is do we, as spiritual creatures, allow the primal to control us or do we control the primal? Do we need porn to release the tension you speak of and that most of us with any amount of testosterone in our bodies lives with?

It’s a question…. that’s all.

Those are very good questions, Stucky. I’ve said this before, but in the Middle Ages, in England, a bishop was in charge of the area where the Isle of the Dogs was, and this was a big whorehouse area. The bishop did not ban the whorehouses, but they were regulated. And prostitutes had to undergo a yearly exam to make sure they weren’t diseased. But the whorehouses were allowed to operate and were not against the law. And Jesus himself preached to the whore in the Bible and told her not to sin anymore. He didn’t have her handcuffed and arrested, or the historical equivalent.
Pornography should be allowed, just as prostitution and drug use should be allowed. Sin cannot be regulated against, because, as the drug war and prostitution or pornography show, it doesn’t work. It is up to each person to decide whether they participate in it. Each person is responsible for their own soul.

I will mention this. In the Middle Ages and before, priests were allowed to marry. There was a controversy in the church about priests claiming they owned property or items that the church deemed belonged to them, and the priest deeded them to their children as an inheritance. This is the argument that caused the church to stop priests from marrying. And now we have an epidemic of child pedophilia in the church. That is from man’s law. Not God’s law. Jesus never said not to marry.

By the way, I have a cousin that was arrested as part of a sex entourage of Rick James — yes, that Rick James. She was abused, burned with cigarettes, etc. But she went there of her own free will. She also left of her own free will. Her problem was drugs. And Rick James had plenty of them, so she went with him and did what he wanted. Today, I can happily say she’s not mixed up with that anymore. But she went in with her eyes wide open, according to her.

Were you being facetious or obtuse?

Eating nourishes the body and keeps it alive, sleeping allows for the rest of the physical body and gives the brain an opportunity to defrag itself.

When you introduce things into a culture there ought to be a means of measuring the impact, a metric by which you can ascertain if it is a net positive or negative. You can’t build a shed in NJ if you haven’t had an environmental impact study but you’re acting as if something as big as the pornography industry is meaningless ephemera.

All human desires and drives are connected to survival, but to use those impulses as some sort of justification for the debasement and morbidity of the individual and the society in which he or she lives is a kind of retarded I can’t grasp. Some people can enjoy the relaxing effects of a glass of wine, does that mean we should advocate binge drinking for toddlers? There’s a scale of human sexuality that ranges from voluntary celibacy to sexual sadism and you’d be lying to yourself if you said that’s there’s no difference between the two.

I submit that if you want to make a case for pornography as you would for any other human endeavor, you lay out the pros and the cons and then decide if it’s beneficial or detrimental.

For the record I’m not a prude either and I don’t care what anyone does in their personal lives nor would I try and regulate their behaviors, but I do think that people ought to make informed decisions and try as best as possible to understand the bigger issues that drive their behaviors, especially as it affects their society. Some people just want to be big, fat 600 pound slobs who eat 50,000 calories a day on the taxpayer’s tab- Walmart is full of them- but that doesn’t mean it’s a plus for humanity.

I was a subscriber to Playboy for many years and kept the subscription long after the internet made it easy/free to see whatever your heart desires, but finally gave up the subscription when all the features were skinny women with fake blonde hair, lipo, fake lips and ridiculous boob jobs. Maybe once a year you’d get a natural brunette centerfold with soft curves like real women are built. Oh and all the articles which at one time were edgy and thought-provoking just became lefty dogma/drivel. Haven’t looked back.

Porn strikes me as the extreme end of the Aristotelian golden means. Sex, like eating and sleeping are no doubt natural, but when they are taken to their polar extremes, there is distortion. You have the shakers; the golden means and then porn.

For instance, it is natural to eat enough to sustain your body and it is beneficial to feed your body healthy food. This is the golden mean. One extreme is to starve yourself to death; the other is the stuff yourself to the point of vomiting and then there is eating just enough, but the wrong stuff. It is probably the same with sex right?

But the question still remains: what makes just the right balance of sex different from just the right balance of food and sleep? Maybe it is the gravity of the act. Food and sleep have to do with tangibles; that is physical things like biologically staying alive and being healthy. Sex on the other hand has to do with more than that — like the metaphysical realities and mysteries of love and co-creation.

Look at the Christian creation story. God created man because of an overflow of love; not a lack that needed to be filled, but because he wanted to extend his love to a being made in his likeness and image who possessed that same ability to not only freely will things, but to create other things. There is a mystery and tension in that creation story in that man’s will went astray, when the created tried to supersede the creator. There is a gross tension that arises when one realizes that the product of God’s love could foul things up so severely, and that the whole reason man could foul things up so terribly is because of his ability to freely choose love. Maybe this tension is somehow hard wired into human love, to include sexuality (the same way the first sin was subsequently hardwired into the human condition) such that there is a angst or mystery (often misinterpreted as shame) that accompanies the act. I am not sure if this is helpful outside of the Christian paradigm (or even if it is within it). But —

It’s all I have to bring today—
This, and my heart beside—
This, and my heart, and all the fields—
And all the meadows wide—
Be sure you count—should I forget
Some one the sum could tell—
This, and my heart, and all the Bees
Which in the Clover dwell.

Actually, the pill, in my opinion, was the start of the sexual revolution. Hefner came along at the same time. And I agree, his photos were much more tasteful than what came later. But you cannot blame Hefner for what was also happening at the time. If it weren’t for the pill, do you think women would have been having all that free love? No. And of course, after the pill, legal abortions followed. In my opinion, the pill was the MAJOR contributor to what we have today.

Early porn, they must have been awfully lonely:

French trappers are responsible for naming the three peaks now known as the South, Middle, and Grand Teton. They called the mountains “Les Trois Tetons,” or “The Three Breasts.” The Grand Teton—the tallest of the three—literally means “the big tit.”

Which meant that come midnight the movie in the VCR upstairs was taken out and replaced by whatever PORN was available.

Am not a prude but the sexual situations depicted in what little porn I have seen are neither exciting nor fantasy material.

However… When the AWACers’ movie rental privileges were lost because some LOSER stole some porn tapes, I was a team player and rented a few porn tapes for the guys since I was old pals with the first shirt and SHE lent me her rental card.

There’s no way to know if porn has had any positive influence, because no one will ever know.
Let’s suppose, then:
An inexperienced, ignorant and frustrated teen really doesn’t know why he’s irritable and has crusty deposits in his shorts some mornings. He finds a porn magazine in a parking lot and takes it home in his backpack. Instead of molesting some unfortunate acquaintance, he figures out how to jerk off and relieves the pressure. BINGO! A light goes on in his head; he has an outlet now, that hurts no one else, and no one gets pregnant, no one is molested and no one gets a jail record.
How would you ever know? Who would he ever tell?
Another really challenging question: did your parents talk to you about sex? Did they leave it up to your older brothers / sisters?
Where did you first learn about sex?
Mine: I vaguely learned from older brothers and the Boy Scouts about masturbation, but knew almost nothing about sex as a boy. One day I mentioned I was getting a crush on Lori Day, when my buddy Dennis said, “Oh, but she’s married”. I said, “Married? In the seventh grade? How did that happen?” Dennis said, “I guess she got screwed”. And I suddenly put several things together at once, about sex, marriage, underage experimentation and so on. I got a lot more cautious (and curious) about girls after that. I still had a lot of questions, but realized why I needed to be cautious, at least.

I, for one, did talk to my son about sex. His father is of the old school, I guess you thinks you find out by friends, like he did But friends aren’t very knowledgeable at that age. So I’m the one that had the talks with him.

It’s up to the parents to teach their children, but parents have a hard time with this. Porn, on the one hand, allows them to know what sex is all about. I don’t encourage it, but in this Internet age, expect it, especially if their friends are aware of it. I caught my son looking at porn on my computer, the only one we had at the time and he didn’t have a phone yet. He was in the eighth grade. I didn’t yell at him. But I did monitor his Internet usage. His watching was over within six months. Once his curiosity was satisfied, it was over And it is curiosity, especially for boys.

Porn trains a person to be less dependent of a partner for that satisfaction, which leads to failed relationships in multiple ways.

It is particularly destructive to young men. I’ve gone into this in some detail on a blog post:

Let’s just be thankful they aren’t butt-fucking. Seriously, that pic is fucked up and it messes with my art appreciation of the big titty girl on the beach.

Stuck is scraping bottom. Hugh Hefner is not newsworthy. He exploited women’s tits. That’s all you need to know.

Before then, the mafia was involved in porn. They cater to man’s vices; sex, drugs, rock n roll. Then they expanded to gay bars. You can blame Joos all you want, the mafia aren’t saints.

As long as there’s an easy buck to be made, some asshole will make a living doing that. Giancana muscled into the Chicago numbers racket.

In NY, it was the Joos, Micks and Wops running the rackets. It was in all the papers before they went crooked and started lying about the Donald.

“…scraping bottom…” is putting it mildly.

Hef did give me a lifelong appreciation of the female clad in thigh-high stockings though. Airbrushed pics or not.

I doubt Hef is with Jesus just now. Let’s hope Stucky has a better fate. As long as we’re still alive on this earth, then it’s not too late to do what needs doing.

So, basically, Hefner made a legal living on something was Mafia was doing, driving them out of business, giving customers what they wanted. Is that a bad thing? That’s the free market. It’s not a Christian value, but it is what it is. As I said before, you cannot control sin. You can punish it, but you cannot control it. It will go underground, which is worse.

Thanks for this post Stucky, I’m beginning to see the people that post here in a whole new light. Start a thread and see if any of them will admit to ever having farted or taken a shit. What a bunch of dickless saints. You don’t have to worry about the government coming to take your guns. they can just project porn movies and you guys will cringe in horror.

Heiden (1901-1966) was a hard core Communist. He was a member of the SPD. As such, he and his brethren were labeled “Sozi(s)”. It was a term he cared little for, and thus he coined the name “Nazi” in defense. Too bad Sozi didn’t stick as well.

I’ve heard this before about Hefner. In fact, he was considered a devoted husband when he was young. And he ended up getting hurt really bad by his first wife when he found out she had an affair with another man when he was in the military. Reports are that he was “shattered.” He divorced her and began his “Playboy” life. There’s usually a reason for everything.

Female here.

Masturbation – either sex, is normal and healthy.

Porn is degrading to women. It leads to unrealistic expectations in both looks and behavior for women. There is no love involved and so it’s two animals rutting. Humans should be better than that. I know that we’re not though.

I don’t know any men who don’t view at least some porn. Some women do; most don’t.

I’ve often asked Mr. Romulan how he would feel if his daughter was doing this for the gratification of strange men.

“She’s not,” is his practical, if annoying reply.

My rule is that if he must watch the filth, I am never to be exposed to it. If I am accidentally then he gets an earful. Double that if it was viewed on *my* computer.

As a female,,I do nott agree with Romulan. As a woman, I don’t think porn is degrading to women. There are many women, and Venezuela is a current example, where women have to rely on their bodies to feed their families. It’s not pretty, but is is reality. This has happened in the past as well. Prostitution and porn answer to a market that is out there. If not, women wouldn’t do it. And it pays well. And the capitalist system would legally answer that market. Women would be free agents. They wound be able to work on their own or through a company (what would in the past be described as a whorehouse). But they would be legal. When things are outlawed, you get an underground economy. In other words, they can’t go to court to settle disputes, when leads to crime on the streets. And you end up in street fights or the women are abused. Better to have it above board, where a woman can take an employer or client to court. Again, it is up to the individual as decide whether they should do this or not. They are the ones that have to answer to God.

I haven’t posted much this past week. Not much to say really, although I have been following this thread.

Just one thing to add. This is on the wall of Sistine Chapel. A lot of distractions there when saying the Hail Marys and Our Fathers.

A smorgasbord of nips dicks and chicks…

Pope Encourages Women To Reveal Breasts In Sistine Chapel, Feminist Newspaper Reports

Dem Catholics are so progressive…

from the article..

VATICAN––“He is 77, celibate, and the Vicar of Christ; a role which, up until his papacy, was known for its prudishness,” Evi Quinn, journalist for the feminist newspaper The Revolution wrote this morning. “But Pope Francis has been quickly evolving the papacy into a more liberal and open-minded position in the Catholic Church, becoming an improbable leader of public nudity, encouraging mothers to reveal their breasts in public.” The Pope’s statement was made to a small gathering Sunday afternoon during a special papal baptism, where Francis made comments encouraging women to breastfeed in the Sistine Chapel. “If [your children] are hungry, mothers, feed them, without thinking twice,” Francis said. Quinn told EOTT this morning that since being elected, Francis had moved the Church forward in spite of the Church. “What he was essentially saying was that the human body is beautiful and that there’s nothing shameful about showing it off in public…especially in church. This was a ringing endorsement of public nudity and of the liberation of the female body. At one point while he was speaking, he pointed upward, as if to say, ‘Do not be afraid. Look up at all the boobage in this place. You are not alone.’”

My life would have been way too boring were it not for trashy women with shitty fathers. And who gives a fuck who is spanking their monkey in the privacy of their own home anyways? You do you and as long as I don’t have to see it or hear about it WHO FUCKING CARES. Trying to police morality is idiotic.

Vic throws a couple of comments up against the wall and big thanks for supporting porn. Very interesting coming from a bible thumper like Vic.

You call me out that I point out hypocrisy in you and others, THEN in your closing thoughts you call out everyone who did not support you as hypocrites. If the fucking shoe fits…….

Diogenes the oversexed horndog can keep your comment count up going forward.

My question- Would Jeebus and his Father approve of today’s porn saturated society/world? Answer that Mr. Hypocrite.

My Christian believe is rooted in the early Christians, not the Christians that appear after 300 A.D. The religion changed after that, including bishops having other bishops attacked and murdered. The early Christians, even up to the Middle Ages, had no restrictions on prostitution or porn books, which did exist even then. As I said before, Jesus did not have the prostitute arrested. He preached to her and told her not to sin anymore. That is the Christian’s way of teaching. True Christians do not rely on government to police people. It is up to people and families to police people. So the more Christians that exist in the community, the better. That statement does not indicate suppression. It means that Christians know how to act properly, and the more of them around, the better the example. And the more there are Christians, the less police are needed.

Gotta add that Diogenes is doing yeoman’s feeding shit to the Bible thumping trolls…

And I didn’t answer your questions Stucky. A bit trite and my bad..

So here it goes…

Q1: Have you watched Porn in the last year?

A bit but not enough..

—— Q1-A (optional) Did you choke the chicken or pacify the beaver?

Of course.

Q2: What is Porn? (Consider that the above 50′s Playboy centerfold was once considered pornography … and compare it to the very ads that are on TBP today.)

Porn is anything that can be blamed on those depraved JOOS! If it wasn’t for their eviil ways the goyim like me would be leading a life of wholly greater purity. Doesn’t that sound like fun eh!

Q3: What’s wrong with Porn, anyway.

nuthin’ as long those involved are adults, consenting and pissing off BB and BL

Yours in Odin,

1) yes
1a) twice since breakfast as a general rule

2) I have no idea where to draw the line or at least no interest in doing so
3) it robs people of intimacy, it is addictive, generally even though entered into voluntarily it is very destructive to the soul, sure it’s always been around and always will be…does that make it no big deal? I think tv has been very destructive to society and to my personal growth as a human being…I can say the same thing about porn. Morality is all a gray scale with porn at neither extreme… porn is not a root cause of our cultural decay but it’s ubiquity is certainly a symptom of it.
