The little boy looks like he is already suffering from genetic mutations. Poor kid.

Looks like he could eat an apple through a chain link fence, poor fella.

Or eat corn-on-the-cobb through a knot hole in a fence.

Good for opening beer bottles also.

People used to go to Las Vegas to see the atomic tests. China conducted the last open air nuclear test in 1978 I believe though South Africa, apparently, conducted a ‘clandestine’ test in the South Atlantic a decade later.

Its too bad some arrangement has not been made to allow for an occasional open air atomic test every few years. The UNSC could allow the permanent members to take turns conducting the test for reliability and safety purposes and also as major tourist attraction. Yields could be restricted to a sane level and the bombs detonated at a few thousand feet to reduce fallout but enhance the visual presentation.

Ever wonder how they calculate the yield, typically in kilo or mega tons of TNT? Simple, they weigh the trucks delivering the “nukes”. That much TNT makes a picture perfect mushroom cloud though nothing as comical as that shown in the photo of me and my sister on our first visit to California in 1963. My teeth still look like that so fuck you. Never had a single cavity and never needed a church key. Looks ain’t everything so there.

Been there done that. Born and raised in NV. Saw the mushroom as a little kid. “Duck and cover” too.
Glad I wasn’t a “down-winder”.
And the fucking New Age Snowflakes think they have problems. HA!
