I read an article yesterday on how much spending has taken place since 2001 on these damn wars .It was 5.6 trillion dollars and counting according to this article.Add all the young men hurt and killed it is even more damning when you realize we are fighting these so called wars to satisfy the Israel / Jewish lobby in our nation. I am really beginning to hate these Treasonous son of bitches in Washington.I think this is being deliberately done to bankrupt our nation.
The high suicide rates among military personnel in the US only proves that soldiers have a conscience and that modern US wars constitute crimes against humanity. Make no mistake, wars are the health of the state and soldiers are little more than cannon fodder. Therefore, as we approach Remembrance Day, we all need to ask: what are/were we really fighting for? There is only one justification for war and that is self defense which means very few wars qualify as Just Wars as defined under the Christian Just War Theory and Geneva Convention on War. So how should we view soldiers who fought in many cases courageously in an immoral and unjust war; a soldier who may have killed hundreds of innocent people in other countries in an unjust war? Are these really heroes or are they tragic figures who believed and trusted their government only to realize later that they were deceived and lied too. That they served the interests of banksters, the military-industrial complex and other gangsters who were quite willing to sacrifice the lives of soldiers while they and their families live in great comfort with the profits of war. Remembrance Day needs to be removed from the control of our governmental “elite” and put in the control of veterans and all citizens so that the TRUTH can be told. What we should be remembering are the actions of treasonous governments and a treasonous elite that controls this government. We need to be aware of the actions of profiteers and gangsters who sent young men into battle to fight and be slaughter in unjust wars. We need to remember the destroyed lives of soldiers and their families as shown by the astounding rates of suicides and mental breakdown in the US. And if you are veteran, you and the veterans groups of which you are a member need to speak truth to endemic lies by not participating in government-sponsored Remembrance Day memorials that only empower those responsible for unjustified wars.

No one should join the military these days. If there were no enlistees, they’d have to either cancel the wars or star the draft – which wouldn’t fly these days. If anyone attacks us, we can repel them.
