Everyone thinks Casablanca and The Godfather are good. The point of the lists is to show the ones with the greatest gap in affinity between men and women.
I didn’t realize the Harry Potter movies were chick flicks. I haven’t seen any of them but that’s because I thought they were kiddie fantasy films.
And Paths of Glory is a great film. If you can watch that and not feel something when the girl is singing at the end, it’s clinically proven that you’re a sociopath.

The Name of the Rose. It’s got everything. Monks. Tonsures. Murder. Grand Inquisitor. Mystery. Torture. Heretics. And at the end Christian Slater puts the wood to a village lass. And did I mention tonsures?
I’m still processing Maggie’s comment about her hubs being good with wood.
You reinforce the queasy feeling I got out of that.
The sexy mulatta used to go to Garfield High in East LA. She’s a church lady but not in the habit of mincing words. When an old dude got remarried, she said to her mom, well at least now he’s got somewhere to cast some wood (echar un palo).

Very interesting “insight” to the elemental “dichotomy/duality” of Man/wo[mb]Man, AND . . . perhaps another opportunity for some to REconsider the most essential point of said: the yin and yang/”spiritual synthesis” to be achieved through the most fundamental social relationship of Man and Family. Note how said is under such an unbelievable bombardment of twisted social/sexual perversion. Note how the likes of Soros continues to fund the “lib-turds” who have joined [temporarily] with the moozies to promote said via racism, sex DE-identification, “feminism” and multi-culturalism.
Regarding the (fairly recent) constant liberal, Soros-funded bombardment of messaging, notice the generally more recent dates for the female-appealing movies versus the typically older dates for the male-preferred movies. It seems that men prefer classic themes and are not as receptive to the mainstream media barrage of feelings-based PC propaganda.
A movie that men love and women hate? And Blazing Saddles isn’t at the top of that list?

The Usual Suspects is/are not on the list. If people discover Kaiser Söze is based on a female real person, I imagine the ratio would flip.
Roger “Verbal” Kint: “Well I believe in God, and the only thing that scares me is Keyser Susie.”
Arkosh Kovash: [in Hungarian] Why are you just standing there, you idiot? I’m not speaking English am I? Wouldn’t it make sense to find someone who could talk to me so you could find the person that set me on fire, perhaps? (S)He is the Devil. You’ve never seen anyone like Keyser Soze in all your miserable life, you idiot. Keyser Soze. Do you at least understand that? Keyser Soze. The Devil himself. Or are you American policemen so stupid that you haven’t even heard of him? Keyser Soze, you ridiculous man. KEYSER SOZE.
I repeat, in the Hungarian’s hospital bed speech from the movie, he clearly says K Susie. Many men have told me they rate the movie as one of their favorites. Not one female has told me that.

Dangal? Taare Zameen Par?
I’m a film nut, I watch a lot of movies and I’ve never encountered either of those.
And where are Oldboy, Field of Dreams and The Godfather?

Not any horror flicks either, I notice. Nothing from the _Alien_, _Predator_ or _Nightmare on Elm Street_ franchises either. Nothing from the _Star Wars_ franchise! Nothing from _Star Trek_ either!
Must have been taken from a select list of Los Angeles retirement homes! Between old age dementia and recent films available, this list carries no weight with me.

I’m not buying this list. For example “Hope Floats” for the gals and “Fight Club” for the guys…..totally missing in action!
Where is Terms of Endearment? Dirty Dancing? Roadhouse?
Okay… Patrick Swayze moment over.
Trying to see closest link in current time. Blade Runner 2049? Hopeful sign, I guess? Not sure. Any thoughts on that.
Das Boot, all time fav !!
No Casablanca, Godfather, or Papillon in the top 20 of either list?? Meh.
Edit: Papillon is the best movie you have never seen. As usual, the book is even better. Check it out.
