Obnoxious Liberal Overreach on Guns Gives Us a Shot at Victory in November

Obnoxious Liberal Overreach on Guns Gives Us a Shot at Victory in November

Let’s start with the basic premise that the GOP establishment is terrible, and as its defining characteristic, its cowardice is only overshadowed by its sheer incompetence. But even those hacks might be able to win the midterms and keep hope alive for the resurrection of the America we love. It’s all thanks to the aggressive scumminess of our leftist enemies – and yeah, anyone proposing to take my God-given rights to speak, worship, and defend myself, and/or my life, all of which they have recently told me they seek to take, is my enemy.

After the groveling cave that was the Omnibust, many of us were completely demoralized and ready to toss in the towel. The Fredocons were delighted, their dream of a return to relevance and power seemingly within reach once the people these rubes, hicks, and upstarts elected get booted out of office. The Democrats were giddy. But fortunately, the Democrat establishment is even dumber than the GOP establishment. They and their liberal media pals immediately decided to push the Junior Red Guards to the forefront and, joined by an ancient and silly former Supreme Court justice writing in the New York Times, demand that we give up our guns.

We noticed, despite Chris “Fredo (but not -con)” Cuomo’s bizarre denial that anyone wanted to repeal the Second Amendment when people were saying they wanted to repeal the Second Amendment right to our faces.

Oh boy, did we ever notice. And we also saw that these people were not just intent on leaving us disarmed – they wanted us silenced too. They demanded we sit quietly as the Junior Commissars led the show trial against us, convicting us of having blood on our hands for things we didn’t do. They freaked out that Kevin Williamson got a gig at the Atlantic. And they tried to drive Laura Ingraham off the air. But hey, I bet they’ll totally respect our civil rights once we are disarmed and they have a monopoly on force.

Chet the Unicorn will totally take that bet.

So, the last few weeks showed us what we seemed to have forgotten – that this is an existential struggle, currently cold but due to leftist stupidity and malice it could possibly turn hot, between Normal Americans who demand their civil rights and a say in their own governance, and a liberal-leaning elite that considers Normals’ interests illegitimate and wants us silenced and submissive in the face of their unchallenged rule over our lives.

Thanks for dropping the mask, you libfascist creeps. The future they want is Venezuela II: Welcome to Serfdom. Now we Normals are once again motivated to stop you from goosestepping the United States down the road to tyranny.

So, we’re pumped and ready, and if you’ve seen the President speak lately, you know he is too (His CPAC speech made it clear that this uber-competitor has no intention of losing in November). But now the Republicans in Washington need to get out of their gimp boxes and act.

Take notice, GOPe: If you want to keep your jobs, you need to stop going on vacation and perform.

Mitch McConnell gets a lot of grief (I think he’s usually a savvy legislative knife fighter, though many of people I respect disagree), yet it’s indisputable that he could convert himself from base zero to base hero overnight. All he has to do is step up to the mic and say, “Starting at 8 a.m. Saturday morning we begin the 30 hours of debate on America’s next ambassador to Germany Ric Grenell. I’d advise my friends across the aisle to bring their sleeping bags n’ jammies because we will go one nominee after another, 24/7, until either all the President’s nominees are confirmed or they agree to unanimous consent to proceed on final votes. The horse hockey stops now.”

And then he needs to do it.

Conservatives would be seeking a smoke and a cuddle. The other side? Not so much. The herd of motley Democrats running in red states is not going to dig being cooped up in the Capitol for weeks on end without a chance to go home and lie to their Normal voters about how they don’t morph into liberal ventriloquist dummies for Chuck Schumer the second they touch down at Reagan National. This means the Grenell Gambit has two political benefits, as well as the patriotic benefit of getting us a terrific ambassador in continental Europe’s most important country. It pumps up our side’s morale because we see the GOPe not taking anymore…guff…from these hacks. That’s huge, and would go a long way to getting some base confidence back in Mitch McConnell. Plus it makes it harder on the Democrats holding seats we want to win.

So it’s a two-fer.

But let’s make it even harder on the other side. They want to talk about guns? Let’s talk about guns.

Democrats, particularly ones from America, say they believe in the right to keep and bear arms? Great, let’s let them prove it. How about Paul Ryan get someone to introduce a bill called “The Right to Defend American Families and Freedom Act” that says, “In addition to the individual right to keep and bear arms cited the Second Amendment, this Act separately provides that all law-abiding, healthy adults have an individual right to keep and bear effective firearms for lawful activities including sporting activities and to defend themselves, their families, their communities and their Constitution.” And it should provide for attorney’s fees award and litigation priority for any American citizen forced to sue to secure his rights.

Let’s see the Democrats sweat when called on to vote on that one. See, we need to give them hard, painful choices designed to either allow us to enact laws to protect the rights of us Normals, or to put the fake-Blue Dog Dems in the agonizing stress position of having to vote against such popular laws – which our candidates will promptly jam down their throats in November.

Here are some more proposed laws we should force them to go on record about. Gotta love that expansive liberal reading of the Commerce Clause!

“The Protect American Workers Act.” Let’s allow American workers denied jobs that have been filled by illegal aliens the right to sue the hiring companies for damages, penalties, and their attorney’s fees. Oh, and while we’re at it, we can add a provision that if you have stolen an American citizen’s identity while here illegally, you can never become a legal resident, and your pathway to citizenship leads back to that hellhole you’re actually a citizen of.

Gosh, Dems, why do you hate American workers?

“The Transparency In Social Media Anti-Censorship Act.” We must demand transparency and adherence to their terms of service, so let’s impose some due process requirements. If Facetwittergram decides to censor, suppress, or otherwise treat a person differently in any way because of his political views, it must clearly and publicly disclose exactly how the terms of service were violated, what the company did, and why it did it in a formal letter while providing rights of appeal for the user through private arbitration at the company’s sole expense (A private arbitration for even a minor matter costs in the five figures minimum). A winning user would recover his fees – but not a winning company. One-way fee awards are very common in civil rights and consumer cases so as to encourage individual citizens to protect their rights, you know.

Oh, and the company must eliminate all retained data from the individual kicked off – that seems only fair that the tech company can’t keep the data if the user can’t keep his account. Identifying and scrubbing all the collected data would be a huge hassle and therefore disincentivize online fascism.

And if the tech company fails to do any of this precisely as required by law, or acts outside its terms of service, uh oh. Then individuals can sue in court and be entitled to substantial penalties for violations, along with (one-way) attorney’s fees. You know all those lawsuits under the Americans with Disabilities Act that result in urinals being hung on the wall at ankle level? That, but against social media censors.

Gosh, Dems, why do you side with big tech companies against American citizens just trying to have their say?

“The Discrimination Against Citizens Exercising Their Constitutional Rights Act.” Tired of big corporations – who are overwhelmingly not conservative but are, in fact, undeniably led by members of the liberal elite – using their power to trample our rights? Let’s outlaw the current trend of companies like Citibank that seek to use their corporate power over society’s infrastructure to limit Normal Americans’ exercise of their rights. Once again, let’s turn the lawyers on them! A class action suit by 20 years olds against Citibank for interfering with citizens’ free exercise of Second Amendment rights by refusing to do business with entities lawfully selling young adults firearms? Count me in – I’ve been eyeing the new BMW 6-series convertible.

Gosh Dems, why are you siding with big corporations against the little guy?

We have the Congress. We can keep it if we push. If we lose it, the really, really ugly trend toward really, really bad things in the future will accelerate. If we lose the Congress next November, it won’t be because we Normals are unmotivated. It will be because the establishment brought a balloon animal to a gunfight.

That was a pretty good read, and had some great ideas for future laws. Now all we have to do is get out the vote this November, and get both houses and the White house for the Republicans. Boy…..Then we will show them Progressives. Oh wait!!!!! Did we not already do that? What a crock of s**t. If they have not done it yet. They are not gonna do it at all. What was that old Indian saying? “White man(politician) speak with forked tongue”

That’s my fear. I myself feel REALLY unmotivated to vote in the midterms (although I will vote). Got to be a lot of disappointed conservatives out there that are feeling there are very minor differences among the uni-party candidates… Chip

No, the old Indian term is, Walking Eagles, for our politicians. Loosely translated, a bird that is too full of shit to fly.

Me? If we believe in the deep state or TPTB, dems will win in mid terms and the battle will be set in motion for this turning.

We have a Uniparty. Voting is senseless. The Deep State and Corporations own all the horses. Voter participation needs to be lower, much lower. Only then will the joke of elections be exposed. Stop voting. Refuse to participate in the farce.

I think that the last election showed that voting may still have a bit of relevance.

Unless voter fraud is dealt with soon, it may never be relevant again, though.

We get the government we deserve. The problem in America is the people; many want Uncle Sam to be their sugar-daddy, many are seemingly incapable of rational thought and only react with adolescent emotions, many use their cause, be it real or imagined, as an excuse for irresponsibility and lack of consequences, few people vote based on what’s best for the country and instead think only of what’s in it for me, few people seem to realize that new chains are shiny. Most representatives are for sale to the highest bidder and most patriots are too busy taking care of business and their families to even try to get involved in politics. Our one saving grace may be that the left is incapable of controlling itself and with each passing year exposes itself for what it truly is, totalitarianism. While I enjoyed the author’s read, for me I would much rather see fewer laws than more.

The problem is, we have allowed the anti Second Amendment crowd to define the terms.
A firearm is a tool which possesses no evil intent on its own. Assigning intent to an inanimate object is the epitome of insanity. Demonizing a weapon on “looks alone” also marks the accuser as an unstable individual who is also insane. Call them out on their illogic and insanity.
Another dirty tactic the anti-Second Amendment crowd uses exposes children to potential and actual harm by putting them in “gun-free zones”. These people care not one wit about children, but uses them for their own nefarious purposes.
We need to TAKE BACK the argument…
When the antis blame the firearm for the actions of a criminal, state that: “a firearm is an inanimate object, subject only to the intent of the user. Firearms ARE “equalizers” and are used to preserve life and make a 90 lb. woman equal to a 200 lb. criminal”.
When the antis attempt to justify their “gun free zones” counter their misguided argument with “you mean, criminal safety zones” or “victim disarmament zones”.
State that “we protect our money, banks, politicians and celebrities, buildings and facilities with PEOPLE WITH GUNS, but protect our children with “gun-free zone” signs”.
When the antis state that: “you don’t need and AR-15”, counter with, “Who are YOU to consider what I need or want?”
When the antis criticize AR-15s in general, counter with: “you mean the most popular rifle of the day, use able by even the smallest, weakest person as a means of self-defense. Besides, AR-15s are FUN to shoot”. Offer to take them to the range and supply them with an AR-15, ammunition and range time. I have made
many converts this way.
When the antis state that: “You don’t need an AR-15 to hunt with”, counter with “AR-15s ARE used for hunting, but in many states, are prohibited from being used to take large game because they are underpowered”.
When the antis state that: “AR-15s are high powered rifles”, correct them by stating that “AR-15s with the .223 or 5.56mm cartridge are considered medium-powered weapons–NOT “high-powered” by any means”.
When the antis state that: “the Constitution was written during the time of muskets, and that the Second Amendment should only apply to “weapons of that time period”, state that: “by your logic, the First Amendment should not apply to modern-day telecommunications, internet, television, radio, public-address systems, books and newspapers produced on high-speed offset printing presses. Only “town-criers” and Benjamin Franklin type printing presses would be covered under the First Amendment”.
When the antis state that “only law enforcement and government should possess firearms”, remind them of the latest school shooting, as well as Columbine, where “law enforcement” SAT ON THEIR HANDS while children were being murdered, citing “officer safety”, afraid to challenge the shooter, despite being armed to the hilt. The government-run murderous sieges at Ruby Ridge and Waco are also good examples of government (mis)use of firearms. Let’s not forget the millions murdered under communism by their governments AFTER their firearms were confiscated.

Hey Kurt as the song say’s DON’T BOGART THAT JOINT MY FRIEND. If you are not smoking dope than you are one if you think that voting for the republican wing of the all encompassing party is going to change a damn thing. Hillary and her e-mails are still laughing at you . George Soros has a new train of illegals heading north for a beta test for the continuing flood of illegals coming north soon to be hordes again as under barry the first. Good ole boy Sessions is busy regulating bump stocks to death, we wouldn’t want you plebe’s hurting yourselves don’t you know and hey SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED was really just a suggestion according to Dandy Don. The second data center just like the one I helped build in Utah is outside Langley and should be on line soon so that the NSA et al can continue to record all of my key strokes. You know folks maybe Kurt has it right, take another drag and pass it along. Dope is legal here in Colorado and maybe it would be better to be in a haze and unaware of what is coming. Nah I wasn’t raised that way and from what I have read in the comments section over time most of tbper’s weren’t either. I am still to busy prepping for what is coming faster than a speeding bullet and refuse to give aid and comfort to the enemy by voting for either wing of the all encompassing party. Besides if Dandy Don gets his way we will most likely be fighting WW-3 come election time.

Taxpayers feed the beast but they forcibly repossess stuff and arrest you if you don’t comply.

Voters give the beast a sense of legitimacy and that’s voluntary.

Schlichter seems to still be under the illusion that the Republican leadership wants to defend the Second Amendment, weaken the social media spy apparatus and stop illegal immigration. It’s like he just woke up from a coma or something. Ryan and McConnell want to retain their own seats, but they’d prefer to be in the minority. They’d also prefer a Democrat to be president.

All of you who propose to withdraw from the voting process are a bit late to the game. 50% of merkins don’t vote. I personally have not voted since I became aware of the fact that the merkin people are so stupid that they will vote for an actor, or a reality tv personality. Or a muslim, or a coke addict. Or a turtle, a flat slob, an unholy number of child molesters and gays. A lying sack of shit. No, make that hundreds of lying sacks of shit.

You can place the blame if you like. Perhaps it is our fault. We are pretty stupid as a group and half of us are too stupid to even understand what is being said by the lying sacks of shit on tv. 50 million of us are so stupid that they can’t read what I am writing. They can’t read what you are writing. And yet they vote. They have the right to exercise their democratic voice and their vote carries just as much weight as your democratic voice. Or rather, their democratic voice carries more weight than your democratic voice if you chose not to express yourself.

Perhaps it is the fault of the deep state. The civil service – who employs more people in this country than any other enterprise. Let’s face it, we have all come in contact with these drooling morons. They come from the aforementioned 50 million who can’t read what you put on the form that they made you fill out. Or maybe it’s just the democratically controlled higher ups who have taken their cushy jobs with huge salaries and worked behind the scenes to corrupt the will of the people. But how can you complain? The will of the people is the will of stupid people. You aren’t stupid but you decided not to play so only the stupid people will express their will, and it’s a stupid will. Maybe the civil servants are right. Maybe they should make all of the decisions for you. After all, you won’t make any decisions so they have to. Otherwise, only stupid decisions will be made by stupid people who can’t read. Fifty million of them.

Maybe it’s the fault of the lying sacks of shit who promise one thing and then do exactly the opposite once they get to Washington. Sure, lot’s of the blame can go to them. When they take a few minutes away from buggering their pages to actually do some work, it most surely isn’t going to be your work they are doing. It will be the work that get’s them the most contributions, or the work that gets them that great salary in a job where they don’t have to even show up. How could you suspect that they would act any other way? How can you think that electing incumbents to office is going to change anything at all. Not one time ever has it worked out in your favor, and yet you never learn. You always complain that electing a republican is going to be the cure for what the democrats have wrought, and yet it never does. Wow. It kinda looks like perhaps they are correct. Voters are too stupid to make decisions. It has to be done by those in the political class. You know, the smart ones. Not you, you are too stupid. Maybe not in the fifty million level of stupid, but pretty darned stupid and certainly too stupid to have a valid opinion about anything so complicated as how to run a country.

So, given how stupid we all are, one must assume that a representative republic is always going to devolve into a fascist dictatorship over time. It will appear to be evolving into an oligopoly at first but in reality, it is fascism that is the end goal of this experiment in “freedom.” It is the only system that makes sense to a capitalist. The capitalist only has one goal and that goal is to make money. The best way to make money is to have a monopoly and the only way to have a monopoly is to control the government. Each individual capitalist does not need to control the entire system, but they do have to agree on the end goal and all work towards that goal together.

And they do. They work together towards a goal. You, you can’t even keep on topic long enough to comment on one blog post. You all have different idea’s of what the goal must be. Some of you want to stop chemtrials. Some of you want to keep your guns. Some of you want to know where the best cheese steak can be found. Believe me when I say this. Even Paul Ryan, when he comes up for air from buggering pages, knows that the best cheese steaks don’t come from Pat’s. And he doesn’t bother to bring it up in a meeting where he and his butt buddies are discussing how to convince the fifty million truly stupid merkins that giving their guns to a true Hitler is the best thing that they can do. He and all of his criminal buddies know that somebody will bring them the best cheese steak or they will loose their cushy job delivering cheese steaks to page buggerers. (That is not a word by the way.)

They are focused on your suffering and you are not focused on your deliverance. It isn’t just you. Take a look at the lunatics on the left. Not a one of them in any of the many marches that they have undertaken have managed to come up with one solid slogan for their signs. They too all have different goals. It’s a wymen’s march…so let’s carry signs decrying global warming, or gay rights. It’s a march against gun violence…so let’s carry signs decrying the gender pay gap or perhaps we can all drag out those horrifying vagina costumes. They took a lot of time to make and you need to get some use out of them………..Lack of Focus.

I am sorry Kurt, but until you can galvanize the rabble into a coherent, focused, mob, you are never ever going to get a single bill passed. You can propose as many bills as you like but it isn’t your job to propose bills so you are wasting your time. No member of congress, who is most assuredly fully aware which side of his bread is buttered, and who it is who butters it, is going to take up your bills. They all have more important matters to attend to.

Sorry for the long winded diatribe, but it is all in support of this. You can not vote your way out of this because there are too many truly stupid people, and they vote. But you also can’t fight your way out of this for the people who control the system that they derive great benefit from have most of the guns and all of the skilled and armored warriors. And finally, you can’t withdraw your support for the system. The fewer people they have to convince that their way is the way of god, the happier they are. You play right into their hands by withholding your vote.

But who to vote for? Well I wouldn’t have to work too hard to convince you all that democrats are corrupt. Hell, most of you would agree that republicans are corrupt, and let’s face it, Bernie is an independent and he is as corrupt as hell. So you can’t fix this by voting for (((them))). As I see it, there is really only one option left here. You must vote, and you must convince others to vote in a similar manner, and you must vote to ensure that not one incumbent is returned to office. The solution to the corruption that is Washington is not more smart people. They are the corruption. The only solution remaining is to always have inexperienced people in power. This doesn’t solve the deep state thing but it does ensure that entrenched power does not fester within the halls of congress.

So, why don’t you run yourself? Why not find a friend who is willing to move to Washington for a few years and support them? Why can’t you get out there and push the idea that to take your government back, you have to participate in your government? Hell, this could be fun. Imagine the first few weeks of confusion where nobody knows who has access to the really fancy men’s room. Everybody would be peeing in the fancy men’s room. And you would get a really big salary for a few years, and a government pension, and government healthcare, and all for doing a job that used to be done by a career criminal who was selling his soul for a few shekels.

Boot the bastards out. And you can’t do that if you don’t vote, and you can’t do that if you are more concerned with Pat’s. Ladies and Gentlemen, and I use the term loosely, you need to get focused and you need to come up with solutions, and you need to participate. So let’s hear some real solutions. Something that we can all actually do. And then let’s all actually do it.

Rob.
Been there done that in the 90’s. Worked our butts off to get 2/3 majorities in both house and Senate and Gov. Mansion. They sold us out in the first session. And they left us on our own when Billary sent IRS and EPA goon squads around to see us.
My solution since has been to work underground on most things and above ground on trying to form a consensus on what to do when it gets ugly and what to replace it with.
Now I’m getting bolder because it’s over for me when the system falls apart and my supply of inhalers runs out and even that is only at a walk. So not much “They” can threaten me with.

Rob, I share your frustration but I don’t think it is yet time to despair; perhaps in the future but not just yet. Many of us love the idea of America and understand that the government formed at the time of its creation was the most perfect political system made by men; however, that was a long time ago and much has changed. We have at this time two choices, we can work within the system to try and install enough like-minded souls to effect lasting change or we can declare hunting season open and cull the herd; the latter may someday be forced upon us but until then I think it wise to leave this as a last resort.

Mark Twain said “if voting really mattered, they wouldn’t let us do it.” This may be true but I still vote, often with my nose held; should a person choose not to, this is their choice. Many say voting doesn’t matter and yet Hillary is not president; this is a huge deal! No, Trump is not perfect, no man is; however, I have seen things come to pass that I probably would not have seen if the witch were in the White House. Not only need we vote, we must establish the habit of hounding our representatives for they love little more than their jobs.

The problems facing our nation were generations in the making and may take as long to truly resolve, our main goal at this time, it to try to insure we keep the ability to maintain the struggle to right the ship. Many of us grow weary and impatient but we must steady ourselves for a long fight against great odds; yes, we can quit, say fuck it, what the use but will it not be better to get our asses kicked? If we quit, America is lost; if we lose, America is lost; it then seems better to me to fight the good fight and let God sort out the pieces.

You made some good points, expecting politicians to control themselves is like expecting a CFO to eliminate his own job for the sake of cost cutting; ain’t never going to happen. We must then restrain them, the easiest way to do this it to vote out every incumbent, every election. We must then educate others and encourage them to do the same; if I reach one, that one may reach one, etc. This is why I talk with people everyday, on forums like this we are often preaching to the choir and though we may feel good about it, are we really reaching those who will benefit our cause the most? As you said, half the people don’t vote, this means it is fewer we need to reach to make a difference.

I agree we must eventually limit who can vote but we will never make this a reality until we have enough kindred spirits in place or else we have a convention of the states. I think if you are not on Social Security or don’t pay taxes, you shouldn’t be able to vote but try and get a Democrat to vote for that. We need to stack the deck with new cards every time and eventually our efforts may pay off. I am in favor of trying not to support those companies who are openly hostile to us; this may seem like a small thing but as Yamamoto said, “an army of ants may destroy the most vicious serpent.”

Yes, there is much work to be done, it is fatiguing and discouraging but what choice do we have? My personal goal is to try to influence and awaken one person a week; I like especially speaking with younger people (hell, at my age almost everyone is younger), these people are still pliable and many are interested and concerned. Don’t give up! I am willing to fight with you but not quit with you. Sorry, if this sounded like a pep talk.

Of course I am more concerned with a Pat’s cheese steak than voting. Voting today is a exercise in futility. The scumbags are all bought out. Citizen’s United assured that. So really there is nothing left to do, than find your happiest where you can. For me that is eating cheese steaks with my Grandpa and wait for the collapse. The system is completely unchangeable until a complete collapse , so while you vote and think you’ll change things, I’ll dream about a Pat’s steak with extra cheese whiz. I’ll get my cheese-steak, before you get change from voting…
