LET’S SEND WAHHABIST SAUDI TROOPS TO SYRIA TO GUARD WAHHABIST ISIS FIGHTERS

What could possibly go wrong?   Is it just me or does the Saudi foreign minister look like a zombie?

SAUDI ARABIA CLAIMS IT’S OPEN TO SENDING TROOPS TO SYRIA

Saudi Arabia Claims It's Open To Sending Troops To Syria

Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir

Saudi Arabia is open to sending troops to Syria under the US-led coalition if such a decision is taken, Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir said on April 17, according to the state-media.

“We are in discussion with the U.S. and have been since the beginning of the Syrian crisis about sending forces into Syria,” Jubeir said during a news conference with U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in Riyadh.

The foreign minister added that Saudi Arabia had previously proposed this idea to then US President Barack Obama.

Earlier the Wall Street Journal’s report speculating that the administration of US President Donald Trump is seeking to establish some “Arab force” that would repalce US troops in northern and northeastern Syria.  This “Arab force” reportedly could be established with the support of Saudi Arabia and some other Gulf states.

However, a possible deployment of Saudi troops in Syria is far away from reality according to Syrian experts. Saudi Arabia is currently involved into a long and complicated military conflict in Yemen. The Saudi-led coalition intervened in the country in 2015 in order to defeat the Houthis and to establish a puppet government in the area. However, since then, the Saudi-led coalition has not achieved its main goals in the country. Its forces have even failed to retake the Yemeni capital. At the same time, the Houthis have increased cross-border attacks against and missile launches at Saudi Arabia.

In November 2017, SouthFront released an analysis entitled “Would Anyone Profit From a New War in the Middle East?“. It provides a look at Saudi Arabia’s position in the region:

If this can be believed, it interesting that S-200 has become effective at shooting down missiles.

Saudi troops fighting in Syria? Now, THAT’s hilarious!

Saudis couldn’t run a lemonade stand. Their pilots are Pakistanis, their oil field workers are from every nation except Saudi Arabia, and on and on. Even the Yemenis are handing them their asses.

The Saudis are already in Syria. You probably know them as Al Qaeda and/or ISIS, or perhaps as “Syrian” rebels. Not certain how many are actually Saudi and how many are Saudi-paid mercenaries.

It might be interesting to find out how much money is flowing from America, to Israel, to Saudi Arabia, and then to the “Syrian” rebels.

Tampa..
It was still like that here when I was a kid. Natural law was only just beginning to be outlawed. We were proud to do it and our sisters were proud of us. If something got out of hand our extended families would back us up while they also tried to negotiate a face saving way for both parties to back away.

Mohammed bin Salman has people like CIA employee David Ignatius convinced that Saudi Arabia is becoming a beacon of tolerance – like Norway or something. Professional Idiot and NYT columnist Tom Friedman wrote:

“Unlike the other Arab Springs — all of which emerged bottom up and failed miserably, except in Tunisia — this one is led from the top down by the country’s 32-year-old crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, and, if it succeeds, it will not only change the character of Saudi Arabia but the tone and tenor of Islam across the globe.”

He’s not just changing the tone or the tenor; he’s changing the tone AND the tenor. Of Islam. Across the globe.

These people are considered serious thinkers. Really, they’re lunatics.

If I was Syrian, I might start staking some captured foreign troops out in the sun to make some human raisins and jerky then send it to their Embassy with a note requesting they send Syria some more raw materials.

jr,
there’s more truth in that then you realize–
unless it was completely made up & i fell for it,afghan fighters would cut the ears off of captured russians during the russian occupation of afghanistan–you can imagine what a morale booster it was when the soldiers were sent back to their own side–

Of course Saudi Arabia will put it’s forces into battle. You don’t spend hundreds of billions of dollars buying U.S. hardware and training without wanting to out your troops with their new equipment to the real deal and not just live fire drills
