(New York) Project Veritas has released undercover footage of Union City Education Association President, Kathleen Valencia, explaining that the union has helped a teacher who allegedly had sex with a teenage girl keep their job, and would do the same for a teacher who physically abused student.
On March 27th 2018 at the Union City Education Association office, Valencia, the union’s president, explains why a teacher who bruised a student in school would not be reprimanded.
“Did the kid’s parent come in? No? Nothing happened… There’s no video? Nothing happened… [The teacher] is fine.”
Valencia expresses dismay at the idea of the student speaking out about being abused:
“God forbid the kid decides to tell the principal. It happened two weeks ago, he’s not [going to tell.] Let’s say the kid does. [The teacher] is going to be like… ‘kid tripped and fell.’”
When the Project Veritas undercover journalist asks if unions normally help teachers who abuse students, Valencia says, “it happens, yes it does!”
Valencia then details the steps the union will take to make sure the teacher who abused a student in school keeps his job:
“I’m going to get your brother a lawyer. Your brother’s not going to admit anything happened. The only witness is the scumbag kid… he’s got a record.”
When pressed about what the teacher should do to protect his job, Valencia says “keep [the teacher’s] mouth shut,” and adds plottingly, “nothing happened.”
The Project Veritas journalist asks Valencia if other teachers have gotten away with doing worse things to students than hitting them, Valencia points to a document:
“This file right here is from a teacher who had sex with a student. This file is about whether or not the teacher gets to keep his pension. Is he going to jail? No. How come? Because the child’s not pressing charges. There’s no proof.”
Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe said of the video: “The Union City Education Association must reveal the identity of the teacher the union is protecting. Any and all parents should be paying attention. This union would rather protect their teachers than their students.”
This video is second in a series of Teachers Union investigations by Project Veritas, in which Hamilton Township Education Association President David Perry aided an undercover journalist in covering up a child abuse scenario.
You know, there no words which positive to describe what we have become. Now they walk out during school year for more money. What’s worse they do it in the name of the children. We have no shame.

What do you think happens in government schools? This is like a piano player in a brothel being shocked, shocked that there’s prostitution going on upstairs.
The bottom line is, most human beings have no future, they were born to be mindless drones (Raiders fans, etc.) at least Europeans accept this and don’t try to say “little Johnny would have had a future…if only he went to a functioning school.” Most people don’t have the talent to have a future, even if raised in the right environment.
I feel sorry for public school teachers. They’re just trying to put in their time to get to the pension, and have to deal with these awful little bastards all day long. Stories like this remind me that the right can be just as preening and moralizing as the left.
I saw an ad the other day for a tuition-free online public school. Keep going like this, and there will be no more kids in school except the ones that the parents absolutely must send there as a free babysitter. Why anyone would send their kid to public school if they had the choice is beyond me.
I live in a rural area where the tri-town area has a conjoined chamber of commerce, the the three school districts are very different. Town A, where I live, used to have a great school (that ended pretty much in the late 80’s), if you went there, you were well-thought of as a school and the grades were good, teachers cared, and you pretty much went to college. Now, they are ranked 3 out of 10 in the state. Less than 2 miles away, an even MORE rural town has a school district ranked 6 out of 10 in the state and has very low property taxes. The housing prices are higher, but buyers end up paying somewhat lower mortgage payments in the end due to the lower taxes AND get a better school. With school choice it’s a no-brainer. AND the sending towns have to PAY for the kids to go to the other school district!
There are 3 Catholic elementary schools in the town I live in that are pretty much full all the time.
What does this tell you? I can tell you what it tells me….throwing more money at the problem doesn’t solve it. Ever.
With that being said, I don’t blame the teachers entirely. With IEP’s, administration, core curriculum, teachers don’t even really teach anymore but are nothing more than glorified babysitters making sure little johnny and susie get their adderall and their homework plan. The rest of the kids, who can actually do the work and show up be damned.
My best friend, who was an AP biology teacher for many years for HS got so disgusted he left. AP Biology, which means “advanced placement” is a joke. If your mommy or daddy show up and demand their little snowflake be put in AP anything, then by golly, that’s where they will be. Even if their grades and attendance show otherwise.
The admin kowtows to the parents and does a disservice not only to that student but the real students who want to do the work and actually get ahead.
Sorry folks, but some kids are not cut out for college, despite what mommy thinks. Little Johnny is not going to be a super surgeon, and little Susie is not going to cure cancer. Johnny should go to tech school and learn a trade to support his pot smoking ass, and little Susie should plan on working a restaurant job and get into their corporate management program. Maybe. Or she can be a stripper. At least it’s a job.
You can’t hand your kids everything on a silver platter when your on an aluminum budget and expect the world to turn out fine.
Mr. O’Keefe had better stay the hell out of New Jorsey from now on. Some crooked-ass Guido or Jewish Democrat prosecutor will dream up some reason to arrest and prosecute him, but of course they won’t find anything wrong with the union people who were exposed on that video. They’ll say he violated the union employee rights or something along that line, and that they have laws against that.
My son was thrown out of school today for letting a girl in his class give him a hand-job. I said, “Son, that’s 3 schools this year! You’d better stop before you’re banned from teaching altogether.”
