Seven Days in May

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

As the political coup against President Donald Trump continues, I was recently reminded of a 1964 film entitled Seven Days in May starring Burt Lancaster, Kirk Douglas, Fredric March, and Ava Gardner.  Paradoxically, the screenplay was written by Rod Serling, the same guy who created and narrated The Twilight Zone.

Coincidence?  But I digress.

Serling’s screenplay was, in fact, based upon the novel of the same name that was written by the authors Fletcher Knebel and Charles W. Bailey II.  Published during the first year of John F. Kennedy’s presidency, the book was actually read by JFK who not only shared it with those in his circle, but also encouraged the production of the film.  Unfortunately, however, President Kennedy never lived to see the movie play on the big screen.

The story of Seven Days In May describes a coup d’etat against a sitting president who desired peace with the Russians. Those behind the conspiracy believed the Russians could not be trusted and therefore took matters into their own hands by way of a scheme dubbed ECOMCON (Emergency Communications Control).  The strategy was to assume command over America’s telephone, communications, radio, and television networks in an attempt to forestall the president’s plan from being implemented by Congress.

The plot seems eerily familiar, no?

The narrator of the film’s classic movie trailer frames it thusly:

There are some who will say:  ‘It can never happen here’.  But this is the story of how it could happen in seven days of intrigue, of blackmail, of terror; an eternity of suspense.  This is the astounding story of a military plot to overthrow the government of the United States; which, if successful, will change the fate of every American.

Does life imitate art?  You decide.

May 1, 2018

– On May Day, special counsel Robert Mueller’s questions for Trump became the lead story across all media platforms.  The questions, which could have been leaked either by the special counsel’s office or someone from Trump’s team, revealed an emphasis on obstruction of justice over Russian collusion.

– In an continuing effort to eliminate conservative voices from Facebook before the 2018 midterm elections, CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the company had implemented a system to rank news organizations based on “trustworthiness” in an effort to suppress content based on that metric and eliminate hate speech.

– In response to outright censorship initiatives imposed by Twitter, Facebook, Google, and YouTube:  Sixty-three conservative leaders issued a joint statement demanding fairer social media policies.

May 2, 2018

– Michael Caputo, a former Trump campaign consultant who lost his house to legal fees because the Democrats lost the 2016 election – damned them all to hell for theirwitch hunt” congressional Russia probe.

May 3, 2018

– Deputy Attorney General, Rod Rosenstein, made it very clear that he and the Department of Justice were no longer subject to congressional oversight.

– In response to having lost his attorney-client privilege, President Donald Trump acknowledged that he did, in fact, reimburse his attorney for hush money paid to a porn star. This, after he previously denied any knowledge of the matter just 28 days before.

May 4, 2018

– After weeks of stalling and stonewalling by the U.S. Department of Justice and FBI, redactions were lifted on two pages of the Russia report.  Therein, it was revealed that both former FBI directors, James Comey and Andrew McCabe, believed that Trump’s former national security advisor, Michael Flynn, never lied in his statements to the FBI.  Therefore, the unredacted revelations also proved that Comey lied to Fox News’, Brett Baier, in an interview the week before.

– A federal judge overseeing the Paul Manafort case accused Robert Mueller’s team of lying and trying to target Trump.

– Another judge denied Robert Mueller’s request  to delay the first court hearing in a criminal case charging three Russian companies, and 13 Russian citizens, for Donald Trump’s 2016 U.S. Presidential Election win.

– It was revealed that former Secretary of State, John Kerry, never actually stepped down from that position as he continued to conduct secret diplomacy on behalf of the shadow state; even to the point of attempting to salvage the Iran deal he helped craft.

– The U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) released a report revealing a sharp increase of U.S. call records.  The 534 million records of phone calls and text messages of Americans in 2017 were triple of what was gathered in 2016.

May 5, 2018

– The New York Times published an article on President Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, and labeled him a “fixer” who “built a shadowy business empire”.

May 6, 2018

– It was revealed FBI Director, Christopher Wray, had informed the Senate Judiciary Committee the FBI would NOT be investigating the illegal text communications that anti-trump FBI co-conspirators, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, sent to each other on their personal devices.  This resulted in an angry response, with even more questions and demands, from Senator Charles Grassley (R-IA).

May 7, 2018

– President Donald Trump said he was he “fighting back” against the Russia probe and warned the “13 angry democrats” on the special counsel’s team regarding their “conflicts of interest”.

– “Allies and adversaries alike” worried about President Trump’s Tweet regarding his forthcoming announcement on the Iran nuclear accord; which caught “even most of his senior national security staff by surprise”.

– While “fighting for the democracy” and “for America”, California Congresswoman Maxine Waters shouted “damn this president” at a unionized workers rally in Los Angeles.

Obviously, there is a war going on in the highest offices of the land.  What moves, and countermoves, will be made next?

Could the elite bankers drop the stock market by 50% and, thus, create a blue wave in the midterm elections? Will Inspector General, Michael Horowitz, and the mysterious prosecutor, U.S. attorney John Huber, conveniently die in a plane crash as did the fictional presidential aide, Paul Girard, in the film Seven Days in May? Or, at the very least, will these men find allegorical bloody horseheads in their beds?

In the Seven Days in May film, the president withstood the coup, he emerged victorious, and the movie ended with a display of the U.S. Constitution.

Could Trump also prevail in making America great again?

Or will the global elite powerbrokers, and their deep state minions, succeed in burning down the United States so their New World Order can rise, like a phoenix, from the ashes?

Who, ultimately, has the real power?

During Dubya’a term, I outlined a bloodless coup d’état scenario to my Christina Applegate look-a-like cut out. And I saw her face as Fiona in the kiddy movie Shreck. The remedy to preventing such a coup was to increase the size of the USMC. And Bush did that. That was before I came to have reservations about my government and the direction of the nation. At any rate I have read how the Marines today play a significant part of protecting the President and it’s office. Semper Fidelis continues to guide me and protect our institutions. May they continue to stand guard against subversion.

“More than 13,000 Marines applied for White House guard duty after President Donald Trump was elected, none applied during President Barack Obama’s eight years in office and had to be assigned.”

13,000 Marines Apply for White House Detail After Trump's Election-Unproven!

Doug continues to advise and inform with style and concern. Thanks.

I think the economic collapse to influence the 2018 mid terms is unlikely. While the foes of PDT are beyond wealthy, the rest of the world’s richest are not on board with their agenda and they want to let PDT’s foreign policy play out a bit more.

The deep state left wing operatives will continue attacking and searching for anything to tear this presidency apart even if the investigation is stopped and even if it is stopped by a democrat.

The deep state is the real conspiracy and is the only true threat to the country. This cabal of left wing idealists along with the political and PAC collaborators have been undermining the nation since the 50’s or so. The gradual erosion of the traditions and heritage are just steps along the path to a socialist society where the power elite will have even more control over everything.

Sorry I can’t give attribution but as a former senior military officer said:

“All of the Nation’s problems could be solved by dragging a hundred people into the street and shooting them in the head”.

“The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it’s profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.” – Frank Zappa

“Could Trump also prevail in making America great again?” ———- article

Our trillions of dollars in regular debt, and multi trillions in unfunded debt …. can it not destroy this country? In other words, isn’t it the most important question of all?

Will debt under Trump increase or decrease?

Have you heard Trump talk about debt at any length whatsoever? Do you think he gives a flying fuck about debt? Or, does he really believe what he wrote in his books … that debt is great.

I’m pretty sure I know the answers to the above. Well, to the degree one can know anything about Trump. So, with an emphatic “NO!”, Trump will not make America great again.

I hear ya Stuck. The debt and the economy are the 800-pound gorillas. These are likely a bigger Achilles heel for Trump than Stormy Daniels and Robert Mueller or neoconic hubris; of which are external and internal threats to his presidency, respectively.

Methinks the tempest has expanded just as the path ahead has become increasingly perilous.

Put me in the Stucky and Uncola camp on the importance of the debt. It’s the 800 ton gorilla and everything else is static and noise. Good article, I’ll post it tonight.

Stucky,
Of course such increasing debt is serious and on the path to destruction, I get that. However, imagine if Clinton or some other socialist democrat gets in, or Congress flips to blue. Can you imagine. The only thing keeping us afloat is capitalism. Imagine a Democrat socilaist Berney getting in 2020 and moving full speed to socialism. If you are worried about a crash we should all understand when that happens it is way more than a crash. A crash can be fixed, when a socilaist gets in and really changes capitalism thereis no fix and it’s all over and our debtors will come with their military to collect or take our people/land as payment. It will lead to the end game world wide….I often wonder if getting this on now while my knees are still good would be better. Reality tells me they will wait another 30 years because those being born today will all be liberal socialist snowflakes and any patriot will be long dead, and they will cheer in socialism; unknowingly they cheer their own demise. All of them…….

And the Satanic world powers are planning but they are smart. They have got to get white Americans in a position of not being able to vote our way out from under and away from leftist Progressives. This means making us poor ,Defenseless and surrounded by third world bottom feeders. This mean making us a minority in our own nation. Overwhelming us with violent people from other countries is the root of Their sinister agenda.Young white people are waking up to the fact that Their future is not going to be a Rosey one .

It is possible that Trump – at the right moment – could declare that the terms of the debt that was foisted upon the Republic to have been committed fraudulently and declare the claims of title held by the bankster cabal to be null and void.

Yes, this would throw a giant monkey wrench into the gears, and the ship-of-state would practically keel over. Yes, the results would be incredibly painful. But like the chopping off of a gangrenous leg, the body could survive.

I still like to consider our level of hope under Trump compared with where we would be if SHE won.

It’s long past time for this assembly of states to break down into the smallest possible units and devolve into a voluntary free market system for commerce, justice, adjudication, defense and security. I think 150 plus years ( post Lincoln’s centralization of federal power) demonstrating an increasing diminishing of returns is ample proof enough that centralized political management is a zero sum game. But then that realization is beyond the thinking capacity of most indoctrinated, propragandized dumbed downed Boobus Americanus.
Would have been better had that Constitution been smothered in its cradle. Patrick Henry presciently remarked, “I smelt a rat”.

Could Trump also prevail in making America great again?
What is the definition of ‘great’? To rule the world with military might? Probably, but not until after the blood sacrifice of untold millions of souls. “WHEN OUR FOUNDERS DECLARED A NEW ORDER FOR THE AGES….THEY WERE ACTING ON AN ANCIENT HOPE THAT IS MEANT TO BE FULFILLED”–George W. Bush, January 20, 2005, second inaugural address.

Or will the global elite powerbrokers, and their deep state minions, succeed in burning down the United States so their New World Order can rise, like a phoenix, from the ashes?
Call them what they are-FREEMASONS ! Their god is Lucifer, the Prince of the Power of the Air, the Light Bearer, the Son of Perdition, Apollyon…….among many other names.
Manly P. Hall (often referred to as freemason’s greatest philosopher) wrote:
“European mysticism was not dead at the time the United States of America was founded. The hand of the mysteries controlled in the establishment of the new government for the signature of the mysteries may still be seen on the Great Seal of the United States of America. Careful analysis of the seal discloses a mass of occult and Masonic symbols, chief among them, the so-called American eagle….The American eagle upon the Great Seal is but a conventionalized phoenix”
A quote from Sidney Webb, founder of the Fabian Society-
“To play those millions of minds, to watch them slowly respond to an unseen stimuli, to guide their aspirations without their knowledge-all this whether in high capacities or in humble-is a big and endless game of chess, of ever extraordinary excitement”

Who, ultimately, has the real power ? ………Jesus Christ !!!

From Senator Daniel Inouye:
There exists a shadowy Government with its own Air Force, its own Navy, its own fundraising mechanism, and the ability to pursue its own ideas of the national interest, free from all checks and balances, and free from the law itself.
