She did a great job. She waited her turn. Shot the jackass at point blank range. Took cover behind the car until she was sure he was down and out. Rolled the jackass on his belly. Three cheers.

As I stated on the Daily Caller where I saw this video earlier.
The Coward County, Florida Sheriff’s Department should hire this woman to train their officers on how to handle an active shooter situation!
This is how you do it!

Yeah. Like I’ll let anyone take my weapons? I consider anyone that would attempt to do so no more than that POS in the video. You gun grabbers had best be careful; very careful.
yes this guy got what was coming to him, but I’m assuming the unfortunate and unmentioned aspect of this story is, the only reason this woman was ‘legally’ armed and carrying was because she belongs to the sanctified class, i.e., she’s a cop. All of the ‘mundanes’ present were unarmed and completely defenseless due to laws prohibiting gun possession by ordinary citizens in such a place. No cop present, probably a big difference in outcome, and again due to gun laws

How could that guy still be rolling around alive after that?
Not sure, Treefarmer.. I’d say ask Trayvon, but he didn’t roll too much either, so I’m told…. Roll with the punches…plowin’ straight ahead, come what may……..
Adrenaline, Treefarmer. You can you tube multiple videos of people who have been shot 6=9 times and still have about 30 seconds in them. You can cover a lot of ground in 30 seconds. That’s why you hear/see these cop videos where they shoot the perp 30 times. You have to keep shooting until they drop. If you carry=don’t forget that

First thought was that she was former military. I could watch this a thousand times. Pure mastery of the situation.
Actually she was not former military. She was an OFF-Duty MP. But the q remains what would any armed mother do? No a damn bit of difference. Mom knew when seconds count police are minutes away.
Additionally, this lady was honored by the state governor for saving the lives of everyone attending the Mother’s Day party scheduled at the school.

Perhaps there are those who don’t comprehend the rest of the story, as Paul Harvey used to say…
This occurred in Brazil. Common firearm ownership is prohibited in Brazil.
This woman is an off-duty police officer, who, being special, is allowed to carry a firearm, unlike the first 8 people the man robbed before being shot.
I’m not sure how much of the population consists of the special people, but I’m guessing far less than 1 in however-many-people in the video.
These people were not only extremely lucky a special person was there, but even luckier that the special person bothered to remediate a situation their government created by not trusting them enough to be special.
This is the situation created by “common sense gun control” and those that abide by it.

That was a textbook center mass shot with a perfect fallback to cover. She could stand to drop a few pounds or twenty, but she damn well knows how to assess a situation and react with calm and deliberate action.

She never took her eyes off the perp. From grab to grip, to safety, (to slide?)- clean action all around; obviously, by means of muscle memory. Then she aimed and shot that sucker right in the heart. Dang. Avenging angel or femme fatale: When dying in the street, what’s the difference? Instantaneous justice sucks for just the right people.

Open the video into a big window, turn the play speed to 25%, skip forward a bit and watch that fucker get what he deserves!

If more citizens had guns, more gunmen would be stopped before there was a civilian massacre. That is obviously an extremely difficult set of facts for liberal’s brains to grasp, as are a lot of other Common Sense facts. When a liberal speaks, nobody should listen; “turn them off” and walk away like you would from a boob tube.

I spent a week in Brazil on business, the manager I worked with told me he rode a motorcycle. The group he rides with has to hire armed security professionals to ride with them to avoid getting robbed. This was 2013, he said then the country was lost due to crime and corruption. Recent history has proven him correct. (BTW my colleague and I were picked up by private security, who drove us to a hotel outside of Sao Paulo, after that we used local taxi service where it was safer.)

Probably Rio.
Sao Paulo isn’t nearly so dangerous.
I’ve visited literally a dozen times; the 2 crimes I was near were both cell phone snatch and grabs: one by a guy going by in a motorcycle, the other a humorous one from a car. A car stopped at a light, the lady in the passenger front had her window tapped by a person like they wanted to ask a question. When she rolled it down, the guy grabbed her phone and ran.
As other people above have noted, guns are quite difficult to own legally in Brazil. Illegal weapons are easy to get though.
As for firearm ownership I.proving safety, also a myth.
In Brazil in the 90s, crime was really bad due to hyperinflation and a bad economy. The criminals would shoot first. They would take over entire homes, they would kidnap
It was so bad that people started switching to multi-unit condos because single family swellings were so vulnerable to a hijack. Then the crims started taking over entire buildings and robbing the whole structure floor by floor.
Sorry, but gun ownership doesn’t deter squat if the criminals are desperate enough.
It prevents further crimes by those ventilated, just ask the man in this vid… nevermind.
The main detractor to those using a firearm to protect and defend their lives and those of their families is the “justice system” itself.
I hope I never have to shoot a home invader, armed robber, or random feral near-human bent on doing me or mine harm, mostly because of the grist-mill that is the “criminal justice system”, especially since this state is not a Castle Doctrine state.
Having everything taken away from you and being locked in a cage with Bubba is a powerful disincentive to doing the right thing.

He didn’t roll for long…The Amber Lamps got him to the hospital, but he died shortly after arrival…as he deserved to, imo.
