This is just the tip of the ice burg in the massive drive coming our way for the removal of plastic and other trash polluting our environment. We have become a spoiled throw away society. It will be hard to change unless we change our attitude about the sustainability of the environment. Not many people are going to do that in the beginning.
What is coming next is high quality products that can be repaired and will last for many years.

That would be great if true, but I don’t see it happening. We have gone from refrigerators built in the 50’s last 40 years to throw away tech. Where is the profit in building things that last?
Hey, My Kenmore top-loading washer refused to spin, yesterday. I bought it for $195 from a used appliance/repair dealer. No rust, new transmission, clean….. Anyway, 3 minute youtube vid laid out the problem, pulled the problem fitting out in just 5 minutes, should have the part today and washer back in service whenever my wife gets back from town with the part. The part should be no more than $5. Tools needed? 1/4″ socket and a flathead screwdriver.
My son has a digital front loading machine. Unless you leave the door open 24/7 it smells like mildewing shit. If you shut the door you can’t open it until it is put through a cycle. I think it cost $800.
Someone tossed out this kenmore 800 and replaced it with a piece of new junk. Digital. Made somewhere else.
What about lead, Vodka, is that chemically inert? That was a stupid excuse to bring up the straw man MS-13 bugaboo. Come clean, your a pea-picking peter-puffing Trumpeteer.
