Other issues facing the NFL include: underperforming teams in key media markets like New York, San Francisco, and Chicago; increasing attention around head injuries and neurological problems resulting from tackle football; waning TV viewership; and negative reporting on NFL players, some of which has involved domestic abuse and drug use.
Regular season viewership for the National Football League fell by 10 percent last year, a steeper drop after years of consistent decline.

I scolded the Mother fuckers today for not being inventive with their betting pools, they replied how so? I said you could make a chart and bet on the squares as to how late I am for work every day for the last nine years, they laughed and went back to watching football. The last thing I did today was make a spread sheet and explained it to one who seemed interested in the idea.
On a better note, even though I’m late to work most days, I still put more money in the bank than the top 4 guy’s combined.
Ya but its also going to become generational. I grew up watching football with my dad, but I don’t watch that shit anymore, and haven’t for years, even before this recent nonsense. So my kids aren’t going to grow up watching it either. Sure, they COULD decide they want to later, but its a lot less likely if they don’t grow up with it. Most of those advertisers are targeting the white male demographic, too, and as more of us tune out they are going to see add revenue drop a lot.
So many better things to do on a Sunday anyways. I went and shot a USPSA match. I started doing that instead, its a lot more fun, its excellent practice, you’ll meet some good like minded people, its outdoors, its at least a little bit of exercise, plus its fucking shooting, so that makes it better than just about any other activity anyways. I do USPSA, Steel Challenge, and Three gun. Theres one of those things within an hour of my house every single weekend, sometimes theres one on saturday and sunday. If you guys aren’t doing that, you outta give it a try. I’ve been thinking about writing up a quick primer on how to get started with competitive shooting and sending it to admin for possible posting, but don’t really know how to go about doing it, other than typing it all up in an email. But its a good time and will drastically improve your shooting. Much better than watching a bunch of roided out dindus in tights chasing each other around.
You see the email on the right; [email protected]. Write up your article on shooting sports in Word (or similar); embed graphics, pics, whatever to break up the prose. Send it to that Email address as an attachment to an Email. IF Jim Quinn has some time he will read it, perhaps edit a trivial typo or two, and post it for you. IF you do a fairly good job he will give you a way to post it yourself. Either way, write up the article and see how it goes. Be prepared to answer / argue in the comments if enough people care enough about it to read it and comment.
That’s it; doesn’t take connections, high finance or genius to do it, just persistence to actually put words to screen. Just jump out there and BE somebody!

I haven’t watch an NFL game for years now because of the rich blacks complaining about how police are going around “murdering” them for no reason, which is statistically not true. The last thing I want to do is to watch those morons play and the all-to-often-political commentators preaching to the viewers. Besides, college games are much more interesting to watch. I’m with you. I quit the NBA about 15 years ago when it went full on street thug style. Now, these maroons think I will be happy paying for the privilege of being insulted??? The NFL will continue to stagnate as long as ESPN is larded with virtue signaling and the millionaire field thugs are allowed to act like the fools they are.
