Dirty Deeds Done: The People of the Slough

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

slough (slo͞o, slou) also slew (slo͞o)  n.

1. A depression or hollow, usually filled with deep mud or mire.

2. also slue A swamp, marsh, bog, or pond, especially as part of a bayou, inlet, or backwater.

3. A state of deep despair or moral degradation.

2-1. The dead outer skin shed by a reptile or amphibian.

2-3. An outer layer or covering that is shed or removed.

Not Bolshevism, which Stalin liquidated along with all the old Bolsheviks; not Nazism, which perished along with Hitler in his Berlin bunker; not Fascism, which was left hanging upside down, along with Mussolini and his mistress, from a lamp-post—none of these, history will record, was responsible for bringing down the darkness on our civilization, but liberalism.  A solvent rather than a precipitate, a sedative rather than a stimulant, a slough rather than a precipice; blurring the edges of truth, the definition of virtue, the shape of beauty; a cracked bell, a mist, a death wish.

– Muggeridge, Malcom. (1985). “Vintage Muggeridge: Religion and Society”

References to Washington DC and, specifically, the Deep State as “The Swamp” predated U.S. Presidential Candidate Donald Trump.  But it was during the 2016 election cycle when that particular designation became indelibly branded into the collective psyche of America’s body politic.  If The Swamp describes the political establishment, the corporatocracy, globalists, elite bankers, unelected bureaucrats or the Military Industrial Complex – then those who buttress The Swamp should be referred to as The Slough.

To clarify, The Slough consists of people who, at most, support The Swamp, and, at the very least, allow its continual expansion.  The People of the Slough, therefore, would consist of useful idiots (i.e. Democrats), the Loony Left, mainstream media and social media propagandists and censors, Marxists, liberals, globalists, elderly hippies, aging boomers, welfare moochers, unicorn chasers, transgendered bathroom rights crusaders, rabid feminists, rainbow dancing socialists, Black Lives Matter racists, Antifa agitators, Never Trumpers, the Millennial snowflake generation, and government drones who subvert the U.S. Constitution for their taxpayer-subsidized paychecks.

Perhaps the main concern regarding the People of the Slough is how they start every debate with the premise of their assumed inherent correctness and moral superiority. Indeed, their arrogance never ceases to amaze.

In a previous essay, this author described the Swamp creatures and The People of the Slough as establishing a new religion founded upon the illusions of narratives.  Yes. The Slough People in particular, embrace their faith using words like: save the earth, justice, fairness, equality and peace.  They’re proud of their self-perceived good intentions, common sense, nuance and compassion.

Yet their feelings deceive them because they embrace moral relativism; not truth.

The value systems of conservative folks are very different than those of The People of the Slough.  This is why words like “liberty” and “equality” hold separate meanings for each. In the example of the former, these concepts are the result of natural law. In the latter, they derive more from Friedrich Nietzsche’s Will to Power”; an idea for which the German philosopher also claimed was demonstrated in Darwinism as the “Will to Survive”.

Although some academics believe survival instinct cannot be conflated with Darwin’s biologically-based “natural selection”, the comparison remains fascinating nevertheless.  From an ideological, or even psychological, perspective – the desire to survive can add entirely new dimensions to the consequences of political power and its inherently fictitious exculpation: “The ends justify the means”.

In other words, when survival is at stake, who has time for the “lesser” conceptions of morality and values?

Could these conceptions perhaps even be spiritual in nature?

The British journalist, and anti-communist, Thomas Malcolm Muggeridge (1903-1990) plumbed such considerations in his 1979 essay entitled “The Great Liberal Death Wish”.  Although there are those who would challenge Muggeridge’s Christian worldview, his perspectives regarding The People of the Slough do have merit:

On a basis of liberal-humanism, there is no creature in the universe greater than man, and the future of the human race rests only with human beings themselves, which leads infallibly to some sort of suicidal situation. It’s to me quite clear that that is so, the evidence is on every hand. The efforts that men make to bring about their own happiness, their own ease of life, their own self-indulgence, will in due course produce the opposite, leading me to the absolutely inescapable conclusion that human beings cannot live and operate in this world without some concept of a being greater than themselves, and of a purpose which transcends their own egotistic or greedy desires.

Once you eliminate the notion of a God, a creator, once you eliminate the notion that the creator has a purpose for us, and that life consists essentially in fulfilling that purpose, then you are bound, as Pascal points out, to induce the megalomania of which we’ve seen so many manifestations in our time – in the crazy dictators, as in the lunacies of people who are rich, or who consider themselves to be important or celebrated in the western world. Alternatively, human beings relapse into mere carnality, into being animals.

… If you envisage men as being only men, you are bound to see human society, not in Christian terms as a family, but as a factory-farm in which the only consideration that matters is the well-being of the livestock and the prosperity or productivity of the enterprise. That’s where you land yourself. And it is in that situation that western man is increasingly finding himself.

– Muggeridge, Malcom. (1979). “The Great Liberal Death Wish”

As opposed to natural law, The People of the Slough are guided by ideology and perhaps, an anima mundi or zeitgeist that doesn’t (necessarily) require supernatural or metaphysical roots; although it’s possible. Regardless, the “spirit” behind the “New Religion” could be as simple as an evolutionary faith of Man becoming “like gods”.

The People of the Slough value the illusions of narratives more than facts. Truth, to them, is simply that which they WISH to be true. In turn, they manufacture their own New Reality.  This is why, in any ideological debate, when they can’t win on principle, they always redirect the discussion to race, or gender, or sexual preference. In so doing, the lofty conceptions of law and due process, for example, become secondary to base considerations such as skin color and genitalia.  This also explains why open borders and the right of women to abort their fetuses are considered of higher importance than even the obvious corruption within the highest offices of government; including, in America, the Federal Bureau (FBI) of Investigation and the Department of Justice (DoJ).

Although, The People of the Slough have actively utilized identity politics, political correctness, race, and gender, as well as other divisions, to gather before the altar of their New Superstition, they had not, until recently, crossed any real lines, per se, in the eyes of the Mushy-Minded Middle. They definitely did so, however, during Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination hearings for the Supreme Court.  In that example, the nation witnessed the self-perceived purveyors of social justice attempt to convict and hang an innocent man.

Of course, all of this illicit insanity would have especially come to surface if Hillary Clinton won the 2016 Presidential Election. Had Trump lost, conservatives would now be in the midst of neo-Orwellian Agenda 21 regulations, gun confiscation, government-mandated politically correct orthodoxies, and suppression of dissent much more fierce than what is currently being demonstrated by the mainstream media and online corporate behemoths.  Yet, now, with Trump in office, the “Will to Power” within The People of the Slough is increasingly being seen by even Never Trumpers, as the once-veiled veneer of civility is torn asunder along with any remaining need for pretense.

Stated another way, The People of the Slough are now in survival mode; and their fear is palpable.

This is why Former U.S. Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton said recently:

You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about.

The People of the Slough profess their tolerance of various races and imaginary gender classifications, but their civility is arbitrary; as was demonstrated in the Kavanaugh affair.  The Slough People opposed Kavanaugh on ideology and for the wrong reason(s). At the same time, they called the judge a lying pervert, even as they desired to hang him in the public square on the basis of false allegations, and for purposes of political expediency.

Evidently, Catholic white men deserve zero justice in the New Faith of The Slough People.  Conservative, and even politically centrist, white men are now excluded to the point they can have their reputations ruined by false allegations, slander, and innuendo.  What happened to Brett Kavanaugh was the very definition of a hate crime.  And this is the essence of The Slough: its disciples are unjust. The foundation of their twisted superstition is not rooted in law or morality but rather a Nietzschean desire for power that now prevents them from practicing the tolerance of which they profess.

Although many believe it was Senator Susan Collin’s (R-Maine) speech that publically vindicated Kavanaugh, thus sealing the support of independent voters and Never-Trump conservatives – President Trump disagreed.  He claimed it was his own mocking of Kavanaugh’s accuser that “leveled the playing field” against The Orwellian Media’s memory-holing of key facts in the case.

The Mainstream Media never reported on Christine Blasey-Ford’s memory gaps. Instead, they only reported on her credibility. Notwithstanding, when Trump revealed the following facts at a campaign rally in Mississippi by mocking Blasey-Ford, the news outlets were then forced to cover the president’s revelatory statements:

How did you get home? I don’t remember. How’d you get there? I don’t remember. Where is the place? I don’t remember,” Trump said, as the audience laughed and cheered. I don’t know. I don’t know. What neighborhood was it? I don’t know. Where’s the house? I don’t know. Upstairs? Downstairs? Where was it — I don’t know. But I had one beer, that’s the only thing I remember.

–  Source

Examples like this also explain why the writings of George Orwell are a great lens by which to view The People of the Slough.  Through Orwell’s specific designations including “Newspeak” and “The Memory Hole” we can now understand why lies travel the world twice while the truth ties its shoes.  The People of the Slough report and swallow muddied narratives via Newspeak (propaganda) while The Memory Hole buries any contravening truth deep in the mud.

Moreover, on October 8, 2018 President Trump boldly stuck his proverbial knife a little deeper into the mire: He declared Justice Brett Kavanaugh innocent and apologized to the judge on behalf of the nation.  In turn, Kavanaugh, at the Supreme Court swearing-in ceremony, graciously said he was willing to let bygones be bygones:

The Senate confirmation process was contentious and emotional. That process is over. My focus now is to be the best Justice I can be. I take this office with gratitude and no bitterness. On the Supreme Court, I will seek to be a force for stability and unity. My goal is to be a great Justice for all Americans and for all of America. I will work very hard to achieve that goal.

Of course, none of this was acceptable to The People of the Slough.  They now want to investigate Kavanaugh for perjury and possible impeachment should the Democrats win the midterm elections next month.

They’ll never stop. They’ll never rest because they believe their very survival is at stake.

The People of the Slough operate on emotions in the whim of moments. They believe conservatives are misled by “fake news” while Special Counsel Robert Mueller leads them, like the Pied Piper, down Russian Conspiracy Road.  As they threaten violence to Senator Susan Collins and claw at the Supreme Court doors like rabid felines, the liberal pundits condone it all in silent consent; just like moderate Muslims after Allah-inspired acts of terror.

Liberty lies in the hearts of men and women; when it dies there, no constitution, no law, no court can save it…

– Hand, Learned (1952), “The Spirit of Liberty”

We’ve entered the final days before the midterm elections and it certainly feels like it did two years ago. The smell of desperation, sweat, blood, mud, and hubris, remains palpable on The People of the Slough.  It will be very interesting to see what happens next.

Appropriately, the elephant is the party symbol of Republicans and elephants are said to have long memories.  Conservative Americans will never forget how Obamacare was rammed down their throats under the cover of lies and along strict party lines, when The Slough Party controlled both the U.S. House and Senate. They also remember Bill Clinton dragging a $20 bill through a trailer park, Obama’s pen and phone, and so much more.

Certainly, The People of the Slough will never demonstrate the type of civility conservatives showed past Democratic Presidents.  Perhaps, the dirty mob hates Trump because he forces them to face their own hypocrisy. They refuse to look inward (or lack the ability), so it’s just easier to blindly hate Trump and his Deplorables, calling them Hitler and Nazis, respectively.  But even, if The People of the Slough do emerge victorious in next month’s elections, be assured Trump will bang them like a drum over the next two years.  It will be hard to look away and it causes one to wonder if Trump’s Presidency was The Swamp’s plan all along to divide the nation further apart.

What has been frustrating for Trump’s supporters is how the president has failed to follow completely through on his victories. For example, as soon as he won the presidency, he let the Clintons off the hook saying they were “good people”.   It will probably go the same way with Senator Dianne Feinstein and her staff, attorney Michael Avenatti, and Kavanaugh’s female accusers, who all likely committed process crimes in their attempt to frame an innocent man and subvert the Supreme Court nomination process; if not the Supreme Court itself.

There needs to be real consequences, and yet these never seem to completely come around, do they?

There are some who say Kavanaugh was a great choice because he was successfully installed on the Supreme Court while simultaneously exposing The People of the Slough in ways that, some claim, was a trap set by Trump.

Or, it’s possible The Swamp now has their man on the highest court of the land as the nation disintegrates. Both objectives would satisfy the globalists and Kavanaugh does value national security above the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. It’s also possible The Swamp even desires open-warfare on America’s streets so they can use their high-tech toys to cull the herd, so to speak.

At some point, in the near future – perhaps even before the 2020 elections, The People of the Slough will cross the line of civility again; as they did during Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination process.  Except, next time, it will probably be more serious. In that likely eventuality, hard decisions will then be made by The Conservative Remnant and that means the Mushy-Minded Centrists better choose sides real quick.

Good article. As for Trump’s failure to follow through on his promises, he has tried to follow through on most of them. Leftists in the courts and a cowardly Republican majority in both houses of Congress have stopped him. This situation can be changed. I am reminded of an alleged saying by General Grant, who was asked why it had taken the Union Army so long to take Richmond. He responded that General Lee and his army might have had something to do with it. Go and vote, and take everybody you know with you. The Slough People are indeed enraged but part of their rage is caused by the knowledge that the real American people are now “woke”, they have figured out what is going on, and things will never go back to where they were before. The Left will have no more easy victories and if they try to use illegal and violent means to try to get their way they will be ground to powder. They know that and it terrifies and angers them to no end.

And when the bond and stock markets collapse on Trumps watch: YOU PEOPLE WILL HAVE NO PLACE TO HIDE! That will be the trigger for civil war: Since Trump reversed all of Obama’s safeguards to prevent another ’08/’09 calamity: Trump supporters should be hunted down like the VERMIN they really are! Sad it has come to this.

Is not Joshua’s reply exactly the kind of response “they” intended to foment with Trumps (possible) selection? IF… Trumps presidency was the swamps plan (which I personally believe it was) Joshua is the useful idiot on the blue team compelled to strike at the misdirected patriot on the red team.

Would the swamp self immolate the economy with “them – obongo” at the helm? No. Better to allow a “deplorable” to lead the fall that “they” have the proper target to lay blame upon.

If I were an evil genius that would be my plan. At the end of the day chaos rules that the rules can be permanently changed. “They” will forever be able to say we told you so…

Joshua likely believed obongo had his best interests at heart like many believe Trump has theirs. It’s tragic. There’s a battle coming and both sides have been played.

It seems so painfully obvious the errors of the liberals’ ways that its confusing and unknowable why anyone would feast on such garbage. Great article. Simple version, when you write about staged events and fail to identify the LARPERS AS larpers but pretend in your piece they are crazed leftists , that gives them legitimacy. That would be particularly fortuitous for The Slough this month in advance of the Midterms. Of course, they will try to pin any turmoil on Trump’s trade and tax policies.

It’s a valid point. I was similarly challenged on my own blog and wrote this in response:

Just as older generations sometimes blame the young – so too, does that often work in reverse. I am Gen X and perhaps I am wrong to conflate “aging boomers” with “elderly hippies”. Although all hippies of the “Me Generation” were boomers, not all boomers were hippies.

The fact remains that boomers came of age during Norman Rockwell’s America, when jobs were plentiful and college was cheap. They enjoyed the spoils only to leave their progeny with a large tab to pay. However, that said, Boomers have also made great contributions and that can’t be denied. Therefore, I’ve removed “aging boomers” from my list in the above piece.

“…and it causes one to wonder if Trump’s Presidency was The Swamp’s plan all along to divide the nation further apart.”

That, right there is my greatest concern.

“The Slough People in particular, embrace their faith using words like: save the earth, justice, fairness, equality and peace. They’re proud of their self-perceived good intentions, common sense, nuance and compassion.”

They are extremely proud of their faith in themselves.

1 Thessalonians 5:2-3 KJV… “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”

“Yet their feelings deceive them because they embrace moral relativism; not truth.”

What is truth? Where can I find it? How do I know it when I see it?

I need it.

Now there’s a BIG topic! The Bible has much to say regarding anti-christ.

In short, he will have successfully convinced Israel that he is their long awaited messiah and they in turn will introduce him to the world as such.

Big trouble to follow shortly thereafter.

‘Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works.

He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

For this reason, God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.’

I would not only drop the left/right Repub/Dem thing forever, which is manufactured theater designed to keep us separated and powerless, I would also drop the State. What a politician/bureaucrat/LEO has to offer those who support him is the rental of sanctioned coercive power. He can legislate, regulate and enforce law in such a manner to benefit his benefactors as well as transfer resources to them through taxation while also crippling his benefactor’s competition.

This is a system that creates one set of rules for the man of the state and his benefactors and a different set of rules for everyone else. Why should we respect or support any man who forcibly lives by a different set of rules than the rest of us and cannot be held liable for his actions? Why should some men be entitled to coerce others? It might be nice while your guy is in, but might does not make right and the ends do not justify the means. Government is not necessary and benefits no one except those few who flex it’s muscles and those who paid the man of the state for it’s favoritism.

Why do you suppose that no matter which party is in power policy remains consistent? Because those who rent that coercive power want it that way. Government of the people, by the people and for the people sounds nice, but it never works that way. Whatever form the state takes it always ends up government of, by and for the highest bidder.

It’s a good point, Stuck. And something to consider. I suppose motive should be considered, but also complicity and negligence.

Kind of ties into your above “Slough of Despond”:

This miry Slough is such a place as cannot be mended; it is the descent whither the scum and filth that attends conviction for sin doth continually run, and therefore is it called the Slough of Despond: for still as the sinner is awakened about his lost condition, there ariseth in his soul many fears, and doubts, and discouraging apprehensions, which all of them get together, and settle in this place; and this is the reason of the badness of this ground.

Also, just some more trivia here, Stuck. In Malcolm Muggeridge’s “Liberal Death Wish” speech to Hillsdale college, he mentioned “Paradise Lost” in an off-handed way. Milton, like Bunyan, was another 17th-century Puritan.

I also read somewhere that Muggeridge cited being influenced by the Danish philosopher, Soren Kierkegaard. Once, when tracking down a Kierkegaard quote for one of my past articles, I vaguely recall that one of his (Kierkegaard’s) earliest writings was under the pseudonym of “Victorious Hermit” (or similar to that). In any case, it sounded like a TBP moniker to me.

Perhaps, aside from any Puritanism, we’re not so different from those historical dudes. Maybe the more things change the more they stay the same and there really isn’t anything new under the sun after all

Found it:

Either/Or (Danish: Enten – Eller) is the first published work of the Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard. Appearing in two volumes in 1843 under the pseudonymous editorship of Victor Eremita (Latin for “victorious hermit”)

I realize the connections may be a stretch, but they exist nevertheless. The beauty of anonymity is plausible deniability; and that’s only one of the benefits. It’s the ideas that matter, anyways.

I’ve been here long enough to know the identities behind the monikers; for the most part. Even if the identities and linguistics are fluid, usually the message reveals who they are.

In other words: By their actions, they are known.

OK, busy little Booger Bea. First of all, you should really research Muggeridge’s life as he was an amazing individual.

Yes, he was greatly influenced by his father and friends who were all Marxists. But had anyone completely read “The Great Liberal Deathwish” posted in my above article, they’d know that already. They would also learn regarding his later disillusionment with Marxism and how he became one of its more prominent critics.

In 1934 he wrote a book entitled “Winter in Moscow” where he brutally satirized western journalism’s reporting on the “socialist utopia”; and he also became a Christian along the way.

In GLDW, Muggeridge wrote this:

the most perfect and beautiful expressions of man’s spiritual aspirations come, not from the liberal dream in any of its manifestations, but from people in the forced labor camps of the USSR. And this is the most extraordinary phenomenon, and one that of course receives absolutely no attention in the media….

I was reading about it in a long essay by a Yugoslav writer Mihajlo Mihajlov, who spent some years in a prison in Yugoslavia. He cites case after case of people who, like Solzhenitsyn, say that enlightenment came to them in the forced labor camps. They understood what freedom was when they had lost their freedom, they understood what the purpose of life was when they seemed to have no future.

They say, moreover, that when it’s a question of choosing whether to save your soul or your body, the man who chooses to save his soul gathers strength thereby to go on living, whereas the man who chooses to save his body at the expense of his soul loses both body and soul. In other words, fulfilling exactly what our Lord said, that he who hates his life in this world shall keep his life for all eternity, as those who love their lives in this world will assuredly lose them.

So, the point of all that is this: People can change. I know, because I used to be a Red, White, and Blue, Neocon.

I like you Bea, but the problem I have with your type of cynicism, is in its overall impotence. It’s easy to shoot darts from the shadows – but how about you start posting some solutions, instead?

Truth is, I’m working something out over here. It’s the kind of thing I have to post over time. You don’t have to trust me but, at the same time, just know that I got this, OK?

I could play your games, but I don’t have time. If Muggeridge is a commy-bastard and that makes me one too, then Hitler hates Jews, you do too, so that makes you a Nazi. See how easy that would be?

Get over yourself. I am trying to determine if Kanye was right when he said his MAGA hat gave him power. There is power in making America great again. But is she worth saving? Is she worth dying for?

Do you know who that is on the right? It’s George Washington the Deist himself all deified. Oh yes, it is.

Do you know what this is? It’s the Pentagon. And no, that’s not the Star of David because it’s inverted. It’s something else.

You may be right on Bill Gates.

As for Muggeridge though, he wrote Christian books and also produced several Christian documentaries for the BBC – none of which served Marxist orthodoxies in the least; quite the opposite in fact.

There are those who would judge Christians as deluded for their belief in a Sky Dad, so to speak – but one thing they (Christians) would never do – would be to jeopardize their perceived eternal soul for a bowl of Marxist pottage.

In fact, one of Muggeridge’s documentaries (A Third Testament) honored Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Think about that one. And, if you’re still a socialist Nazi, you let me know. In fact, that might be your problem?

Either way, you are definitely wrong on Muggeridge. Do you know why? Because by their actions you will know them. That’s why.

Truthfully, there is very little that is on the up and up. It’s a scam-a-minute, but you probably think if it’s on tv it’s true. Can you think of much in today’s America that is legit? what would that be? Government, News outlets, Food,The Stock Market, Banking, Unemployment Numbers? I’d say none of that is genuine.

The project for which I was hired is a sub-contract for a company that is most definitely part of the military-industrial complex. My life has improved tenfold since taking the job, the people I work with have all been terrific individuals.

Am I then part of the slough? All the people I work with? Who is wholly innocent?

It is far too complex a situation to determine a set of people wholly at fault, just as it is far too complex a problem to solve by pulling the right combination of levers that exist within the system.

We are all at fault…but blame accomplishes nothing. A better thing to say is that we are all RESPONSIBLE. Often that is used as synonymous with fault but it should never be. Blame/fault is passive and looks backward. Responsibility is active and looks forward.

OK, let’s go with responsibility.

1. The MIC is basically evil.
2. You work for the MIC.
3. Therefore, wouldn’t it be the responsible thing to quit working for the MIC?
—– And, if you don’t, wouldn’t that make you a hypocrite?

There is a tremendous amount of complexity and nuance involved in these things, as you well know. There is risk involved in making any decision as well as doing nothing.

For the moment, my answer is a resounding no. I cannot fix the MIC no matter what, I can get a little better each day at my job, as a husband and father (and provider), I can gain new skills and take on more responsibilities for myself, my family and my community. That is how we fix the world, not by resigning in protest and thinking its going to change the way the world works. That is painfully naive…and the way all too many people think.

University of Illinois is offering an 8 week class on what they are calling Trump’s use of propaganda. I bet they never once will mention that both sides use it.

https://wgntv.com/2018/10/08/university-of-illinois-to-offer-class-on-trumps-use-of-twitter-attacks-on-media/

“Trumpaganda: The war on facts, press and democracy – This course examines the Trump administration’s disinformation campaign, its “running war” with the mainstream news media, and their implications for American democracy and a free press. As a candidate, Trump employed the most common propaganda device, name-calling, to define, degrade, discredit and destroy his primary opponents as well as the “fake” news media. By the second year in his presidency, President Trump’s rhetorical attacks on mainstream media continue—he has labeled them the “enemy of the people”—and not only dominate his tweets but also are a centerpiece of his every press conference and public statement. Previous American administrations have had a contentious relationship with the news media, but the Trump administration’s conflict with the press is different in strategies and tactics, challenging Americans’ tendency to think of propaganda as something that doesn’t happen in democratic societies.”

The MSM controls the democratic party lock, stock, and barrel (I suppose it could be the other way around but he who has the money (MSM) is likely in charge). In that regard they are indeed “fake”. No critically thinking person could believe otherwise. Lastly, they are indeed the “enemy of the people” because they not only do not report the truth but outright lies and huge distortions… Chip

I have never heard of security clearances ever being voluntarily returned and it revoked….

Maybe the rumors of her kankle bracelet and impending public indictment are true.

As far as the video goes, I see it first and foremost as a new form of slick propaganda like when Lee Harvey Oswald was killed on television …same kind of set up with this meeting with Kanye being televised….
It takes a club to the face and it has to seem genuine to influence ever increasing number of political cynics in America.

Not sure if Kanye is controlled or is doing this genuinely but some of his ramblings did resonate with me with respect to a BIG NO ON STOP AND FRISK policies….

That shit was priceless when he said that and told the president sorry for putting you on blast like that.

Priceless!

Seeds being planted for the indictments that are coming…
Just imagine for a minute what might happen if many of the democrats who are guilty and we speak about as traitors start getting arrested and the media blames Trump for arresting his political rivals?

Uncola,

Interesting article you linked.

In my opinion, we will see indictments. What a perfect time to do it now that a correction has begun in the markets and Brand Trump can play the victim and blame it on the FED politicizing monetary policy against him and the Republican party…

Otherwise if the indictments were made public prior to the beginning of stark market decline, the acts of serving subpoenas on many influential people might have been blamed as the black swan trigger…

It could increase the ferocity of the decline of the market too…

The individual who debriefed me that they found their man with Trump before Trump even entered primaries told me the military was ready, 2 years ago to conduct military tribunals for freemasons in Congress and federal government…

Crazy Alice in Wonderland moments, bro! Still falling down the rabbit hole!!!
