Having lunch with his girl. What could be more poignant?

Love it. I spoke recently of an 80 year looking old couple at McDonalds. They both were rail thin. I watched their quiet grace as they ate a simple meal and was awed at their obvious devotion to one another.

Grieving the loss of the love of your life can be a healthy release of lonely frustration . I hope for him he is not wishing he had told her more often how much he cared .

I used to lease some land and manage some homes from a wonderful couple that were in their 80s. Last year the man died at age 95. His son drove his mother home from the hospital, and she laid down and died 6 hours after her husband. It was very sad, but was it the perfect ending to a 70 year marriage

What, you have to wait for your wife to die? Put her on the damn tablet and talk to her. Why do you think they invented these Dick Tracy comm devices? I’ve seen folks with a large screen at the JIB, I hope they are talking to grandma or something instead of on some impersonal blog where random people downthumbs every damn comment you make cause they are jealous of you.
