My daughter (Cordon Bleu chef) was confronted in a parking rap, with a guy holding a screw driver. She pulled out her 7 mm Beretta (with hollow points). He ran. The police retrieved the screw driver. The prints showed he was out of jail for two days. A fucking nigger.
The state legislature here in Almost Heaven recently passed a concealed carry law. Anyone 18 or older who is not a convicted felon can conceal carry without a permit. Despite our reputation and a major opioid drug epidemic we have a low crime rate. It will be interesting to see how the new law affects public behavior.

Schools used to close on the opening day of deer season because most boys and some girls would not attend. Our weekly county newspaper posts photos of kids with the deer they have nailed. Politically non-correct elsewhere, but just down home here in the mountain state.
