Great concept. We need one. We won’t get one.
The newly elected female Democrat Governor in Michigan ran & won, primarily on the lumpens chant of “Just fix the damn roads!”
That, and the progressives we’re tired of the predecessor, an older white supposedly conservative self described nerd who knew about business…
Snyder then proceeded to raise state taxes wherever possible.
Plate renewal tag costs are astronomical.
We have way more state cops on duty now, which has pros and cons.
The Rep. legislature still buckles under, or is corrupted by tort trial lawyers and the insurance lobby, instead of passing motor vehicle insurance rule laws that are reasonable.
As for the pothole repair solution in the video here, I’m betting any attempt to bring that technology here would be influenced negatively by the union heads of the road repair crews, and the Dem Guv will support them, cuz they helped elect her.
And so, the fleecing of the resident sheep will continue.
Sensible cost effective solutions that improve on a habitual, expensive problem?
They’ll form a committee, to study it, and it will die there with delays.
Maybe if a tranny gets to drive the truck it would gain better traction as a purchase to be considered.
And so it goes…

“Every local government should be forced to have one of these.”

Forced by whom?

By the taxpayers of that locality who fund the salaries and waste of their elected ‘leaders’.
You know, the productive working stiffs who drive to & from or during a job every day, so they can afford to pay local taxes, and for a new rim and tire from another jolting spring thaw pothole.

Government road repair crews can now sleep in the back of the truck instead of leaning on a shovel.

It’s a cartoon. Let’s see a real machine that does that.

Yes, obviously he doesn’t appreciate the fact that you could NEVER get anyone to sit through a real-time video of the machine at work as quite a long time elapses – therefore the use of animation to portray the actions in a quick to watch sales promotion.

No spouting off. Here’s a real video. Looks legit. And Mr Liberal, it says it takes under 2 minutes .https://youtu.be/CXpYRhshrBk. I remember potholes, from when I used to live up north. It’s like state taxes, you forget those things exist. They just raised our sales tax in Broward by referendum. I smell another Brenda Snipes fraud

But will happen to the 5 guys who usually stand around propping up their shovels and the 4 supervisors that stand around watching them all day? In Dekalb County, GA, every one of those folks is likely black, so you know this machine would be called “RACIST” for its efficiency and its threat to their parasitic existence.
