The argument should be “when does choice begin” and not when life begins. When you choose to become negligent and not use birth control is when your choice begins/ends. When you choose to do things that result in this you made your choice to yourself, your body. Deal with it. Give up for adoption or love and cherish and raise. That should be the only choice AFTER you “chose”…..

What would make this vid much more effective would be the surgical scissors coming in to snip off the limbs while the little “clump” wriggles around in agony. Then the vacuum to take the torso out and finally the skull crushed by another surgical instrument to prep it for evacuation. Because that is exactly what happens during your ‘routine procedure’.

I don’t know who my biological unwed school-girl mother was but thank God she didn’t kill me. I was adopted by loving parents and have had a good “life”. My children are glad as are my grandchildren.

This may sound dumb if it’s something everyone already points out in discussions of this topic; but, personally, I don’t think I’ve ever heard it said … especially in the context of claims by some women that “it’s my body”.
Has anyone ever told these women to their face that it’s not their body AND that they’re “science deniers”?
The short version: a DNA test can prove that what grows inside her is NOT “her body”. Every single cell in the mother’s body has a DNA that is — pretty obviously — NOT the same as the child’s DNA … which has different DNA from before it’s first cell division.
Maybe it’s just me, but I never hear or read anyone making this point when the left spouts about a “woman’s body” and a “woman’s right to choose”, etc.

I’ve been barred from City Data for telling a woman that it’s not her body that we’re discussing. It’s the babies we’re concerned about. I don’t care what you do with you’re skanky ole body. I also emailed that same comment to Anne Coulter and Rush Limbaugh with no reply and as far as I know they never used it. Maybe you can have better luck with it. It’s worth a shot.
Well, for years (decades?) I have avoided the abortion debate like the plague — there seemed no reason to argue it anymore. However, with this new push to legalize unquestionable infanticide, I may have to mix it up again with certain friends & family.
After all, way back when, as a callow youth in my 20’s, I was “pro-choice”. The fact shames me to this day, but the point is that there are always some (albeit fewer and fewer) minds that can be reached and changed.
As for pundits on the right (Limbaugh, et al.) they have always frustrated, angered, and frightened me far more than leftist pundits because their misinformation reaches and influences so many on the right to believe and espouse things that just ain’t so. Being “on the right” doesn’t put them IN the right.
Expecting Limbaugh to take a tough stance that might lose him listeners (and revenue) is a lost cause.

I agree people like rush are the real danger and have said so for decades. I sent that email to him and coulter because they frequently do talk about abortion and I thought they might want what seemed like a good talking point.
I wasn’t convicted until my early 30’s. Prior to that I thought what I had been told about it being similar to a chicken egg still developing.
Same here. I hate to think of it this way; but, as an unattached but sexually active man in my twenties, there was also a self-interest (consciously or subconsiously) in being “pro-choice”. As Obama would say, I didn’t want to “be burdened with a baby”.
I had my conclusion and didn’t want to think too hard about how I arrived at it. That it was a socially acceptable position – and ratified by SCOTUS – was enough for me.
