Although this is generally true, from my experience over these past 70 years of so, there is a clear dividing line between those who are not prepared to compormise their basic morality and sense of justice…and those who are prepared to trade their morality for what they view as personal benefit. Solzhenitsyn clearly falls into the former category whereas almost all politcians fall into the latter category. Of course most of us straddle the boundary between good and evil.
