Don’t Show President Trump This Record-Breaking Trade Deficit Chart

Via ZeroHedge

The US trade deficit of goods widened to $79.5b in December from $70.5b in November as exports fell 2.8% and imports rose 2.4%.

That compared with the median estimate of economists for $73.6 billion.

Exports of Industrial Supplies and Capital Goods plunged in December and imports of food & beverage surged.

This is the widest goods trade deficit in US history.

Trump is not winning on this one!

And this is why we’re seeing massive growing headline inflation right now. Consumers end up footing the bill on these tariffs.

Until new trade deals are Senate ratified, the system remains the same. This is our present, and was our future prior to Trump. How are those deals coming? Let’s see. Mexico/Canada done, should pass. Korea, done. China, making progress. EU and Japan on deck. Time will tell.

It has been announced that the Chinese Debt to GDP ratio is around 900%. When that debt bubble blows up over there expect them to devalue their currency by something approaching 90%. Imagine what will happen to the trade imbalance when they export that deflationary tsunami all over the world. Chinese shit that was a dollar is now 10 cents! It’ll be so cheap that anyone you talk to in a “service industry” will be talking in Chinglish!
