What really hooked me was his book on “The Pineal Gland; The Eye of God” I ordered it along with “The Secret Destiny of America”.
Don’t know how I’ve overlooked Hall. If Hall had his Pineal gland at full throttle, nobody needed to tell him anything about what was coming.
My first introduction to Pineal function was through Ekankar in the 70’s. Specific exercises combined tones (mantras) attuned to etheric wavelengths, and almost imperceptible breathing techniques (very similar to my pet boa’s) to achieve Samadhi (a Houdini ‘trick’).
I found out quick that those exercises were dangerous after a beer, a few tokes and a snort. Never been so scared in my life.
That does sound like something not to be messed with…

The power our Pineal bequeaths is self-destructive in the hands of the unlearned. The last time I used it was an experiment.
I had become very proficient at pranayama, and projecting “unseen” power (Chi – vital force) to “disappear” clouds (a technique I learned from Jess Stern’s “Yoga, Youth, and Reincarnation).
Pineal power is a whole different ballpark. I used it, once, while surfing. It was the last time.
I was paddling out through a heavy, relentless, short interval swell and taking a pounding. I was at the end of my endurance and about to get washed in if I didn’t make it through the impact zone soon. I was almost there when a set approached and I knew the first wave was going to detonate on my head. I made the wave disappear. I was beyond stunned and never tried it again.
That power belongs only in the hands of gentle people who only act out of love. I don’t yank a chain that tells me I am one. Yet.

One ‘experience’ I had was with a high speed wobble (somewhere around 130-150mph; you can’t take time to look close when you’re rollin with no helmet) My bikes were just straight line go fasts, factory top speeds ranged in the neighborhood of 175mph.
None the less, as I ‘knew’ I was headin to the asphalt, my heart/or my head, went to the name JESUS ! Not sure what really happened, but in a flash, the bike was stable, and slowing just below 90…..the boys (3 other bikers) and I rolled to the shoulder, and decided to pull down a gravel turn off and burn a fatty.
My co-riders were a ways behind me, and were pushing their own, so none had anything to tell me about what they saw.
I’ve never surfed, only swam in the ocean once, but can imagine the force of power. If you’ve never enjoyed a high speed road bike, smooth ‘sailin’ over 120 is a bit of a rush…..a high speed wobble waaaaaay more than a butt clincher.

I had 4 bikes in my youth, the last at 21. A Triumph 650 hardtail that I loved to ride, but it vibrated so bad I had to tighten nuts after every ride. I knew it would be the end of me and downshifted to pedal only.
I love cycling in Mexico but not on cobblestone roads, or any road for that matter.
