Hard to believe they can draw sufficient current through a cigarette lighter to charge a car … but, perhaps only enough charge to get a ‘real’ charger?

Maybe it should be mandatory to put high powered solar panels on top and on the sides of these electric cars as a back-up power source. Also a large cage of squirrels running on hamster wheels turning an electric turbine smartly stashed in the trunk for PLAN B. Yeah….that’s what these Greenies need. 🙂

then, should you have missed an insurance payment, or a not paid a ticket, or missed an alimony payment, your car will simply stop working, until you have swiped a credit card (they will have card readers inside the car).
