Sight alignment, breath control and trigger control are the basics. Other than that, the lack of violence did not fit the lefts narrative. I would venture to guess that you could poll any major city and find more violence in a single night then VA had at the rally. I live in the socialist state of MI. Detroit, saginaw and flint all have had more killings in the last two days than VA rally. Go figure.

Maybe because the young black males in Richmond yesterday had jobs, their pants pulled up and fathers.

Can’t say for sure but, I can say that the climate change hoax did not help this or any other country. Don’t get me wrong, I am not for willful dumping of toxic material. But I ask, CO2????? I like your reference of pulling up the pants & having a job. I learned to pull up my pants at age two. The job thing came about age 5. I think the father thing is spot on. The problem with MI is that we are giving away our ass and crapping through our ribs. It could be this is the problem facing this country as well.

Oops, sorry it bothers you. I just go where the conversation takes me. I try not to get all knotted up over the little things anymore.

From Carl Sagan to this. Thou art woman. Way to recalibrate.

In a way, I was simply suggesting that being surrounded by 10K guns seems like being in a crowd of protecting angels. But, in a dual-natured world where one’s spiritual belief is disconnected from one’s reality (which ours is… we do not pray in public, generally, but in closets and churches), I guess my interest in Carl Sagan as a “cultural” icon seems to conflict with my real believe in a Creator God whose name is either I AM or Yahweh, depending upon your linguistic background.

We live in a world in which many belief systems co-exist, whether we realize it or not.

I once lived on the cul-de-sac on a street where the entry home was owned by a very pleasant Vietnamese woman named Yin Nguyen. My little boy though being able to say hello to Yin When when we walked was wonderful.

One time, when I was walking alone, she invited me in her home.

She had a big Buddhist shrine in her living room with prayer rugs and cushions.

Except, she had Christian crosses and Christ-like figures in the place where Buddha statues might be placed. Or dead chickens.

I was fine with it but I really didn’t want to have to explain to my kid, so I kept him out of there.

I have seen amazing things in a microscope and I have seen amazing things through a telescope.

The most amazing thing I ever saw was in a vision I was given by the Comforter.

Make of that what you will. There is more than what seems to be; to me, it is the logical reply to Carl Sagan.

Every time I see someone trying to burn an American Flag, I get this urgent impulse to help them. This is why I have adopted the habit of carrying a can of gasoline with me as often as I can.

I can see a revolution against the Virginia State government coming. This is not the Soviet Union. I don’t think these legislators and Governor are operating in reality. You just don’t serve one side; you serve all sides.

WTF? Assuming the author’s statement is valid, then one must ascribe violence to the person in control of the firearm rather than the firearm itself. How then can mankind, evolving to perfection as it is, be responsible for violence? That could mean, possibly, that some people are evil? Nonsense. All people are fundamentally good. Surely its the weapon to blame. There can be no other conclusion and no other outcome. This is because guns are scary. Especially to those of us that have been brainwashed with the concept that guns are evil and that anyone that might support gun rights is a hick and a buffoon and much less evolved than us liberal arts graduates. Because, fundamentally, we are all basically good and evolving to perfection as we are. So, yeah. Guns are bad. (southpark school teacher voice)
